Sunmi v2 Printer Android - Phoenix OS News, Q&A & Development

So attempts made to the Sunmi V2 android to root the phone were not successful.
I'm allowed OEM unlocking and USB debugging via Developer options. Attempts to launch fastboot through adb was unsuccessful. it didnt even see the android as a fastboot device at all. (pic related)

upon booting recovery (volume down and power) im seeing pheonix OS
Haven't really been in this space for awhile, but the end goal is to install a custom ROM onto this device, I was going to attempt to install twrp recovery and then install lineage OS or some generic OS. How do I interface with phoenix recovery in order to boot a custom rom?

I have exactly the same situation like you. Did you make any progress?

I managed to not only get to fastboot, but I also managed to use SP flash tool and WWR MTK to extract the firmware off it. I have 4 of these devices to mess around with

Fastboot driver for windows 10

Long story short, I'm currently using RR on my phone. But then I go ahead and encrypted it.
Everytime I tried to go to recovery, TWRP kept flashing and does not run at all.
So I thought I could re flash TWRP again, I goes to fastboot/bootloader mode:

How can I find fastboot driver for Windows 10, I try to install all but nothing works.
Thanks,
(e~what do you want to do)
Try this: download ADB, and create a new file named "adb_usb.ini" under C:\Users\(your PC user name)\.android. And copy 0x18D1(it's your phone vid) to this file
Reboot to fastboot then connect to PC
Thanks Liuxu, I figured out the problem. In the creator update, I need to download the samsung ADB driver and change android 1.0 to ADB interface, otherwise it does not work.

In FastBoot mode it should be possible to update/recover with the official Huawei HiSuite Tool

@Calibaan, thank you for the reply. I have tried it now, but nop the HiSuite can't find the device.
I guess it requires some deamon process running on the other side.

Phone not detected in fastboot mode?

I was trying to install twrp on my phone, but I always stuck on steps involving fastboot command (waiting for any devices), I already tried installing google usb driver and turning the driver signature off, but the problem still persist.
And device manager is showing this while my phone is in fastboot mode

Samsung Galaxy S4 (19505)- unable to flash from recovery

Hi guys,
I am unable to flash custom recovery on my galaxy s4. I already flashed CalyxOS on my Pixel device successfully so i have a little experience with that. I followed the instructions from lineargeOS website step by step - I downloaded Odin, recovery image and Samsung USB drivers. When I entered the download mode and tried to flash custom recovery using odin, this is what happens:
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The process is stuck, tried to restart my device several times, the USB debbuging is enabled as well.
edit: Phone is not bricked, I am able to restart it to the current OS anytime.
Thanks for any suggestions. !
Downloaded the latest version of Odin and repeated the procedure. Results on the screenshot below:
Haha, the problem is solved. I installed odin on my old spare laptop and succesfully flashed custom recovery.

Cant use bootloaders, cant boot TWRP on OnePlus 6T

I can boot to the bootloader, I unlocked the device. It's the T-mobile oneplus 6t. It says device is unlocked, "secure boot yes" among other things. adb or fastboot often can see the devices but I can't actually boot any custom recovery or magisk or anything. Tried numerous times and don't know what to do. I have attached a photo of what this looks like. I wish I could explain more but no more details I can really find. and i I manage to get fastboot to see the devices and I try to boot TWRP, it gives me the second (or now first i guess) photo Qualcomm Crash dump
