I unlocked my nvidia sheild tv pro 2019 2.2.3 bootloader, I am trying to flash twrp but fastboot says waiting for devices in the bootloader, I looked at device manager for my windows 10, there is an exclamation mark for "other / fastboot devices".
I think I need some kind of driver but for the life of me I cannot find a driver for fastboot for the nvidia shield tv pro 2019.
Anyone know solution?

One N7, strictly stock, is recognised in Win 7 and in fastboot mode i.e no issue.
The other N 7 is root and unlock.
Under Win 7 home premium:
All of a sudden it is not recognised and device manager shows Android composite adb interface
but the windows driver is missing ( when I plug it Win 7 is not showing that a driver is installing).
There is no mention of N 7, not even a yellow exclamation point, let alone no mention of portable devices.
In adb mode the N 7 is recognised. Bootloader is accessible but fastboot devices does not show the N 7.
I cannot access CWM recovery 6.0.1.0 neither through bootloader nor from Rom manager.
This N 7 has stock JB 4.1.2 (JZ054K). I have installed SuperSU, Rootkeeper and Rom Manager.
Under Win 7 professional it is recognised, it shows in device manager and in adb but not in fastboot mode after going in bootloader mode, and still cannot access recovery mode (waiting for device if I try to do that).
I need help to solve this issue. Thank you

I am trying to connect my EVGA Tegra Note 7 in fastboot mode to a Windows 10 64-Bit machine, but device manager is only showing this as a fastboot device with a yellow exclamation mark. I have tried all approaches I could find in this forum (SuperTool, Windroid, download drivers from Nvidia Homepage, 15 Sec. ADB driver) but cannot get a successful fastboot connection. ADB connection is fine.
Any ideas what I might need to do to get Windows and the fastboot driver to recognize my device?

Recently just bricked my zenfone 5 and have been trying to flash it ever since then. I installed the Android Intel driver and all the necessary files for the flash. But when I type the commands in command prompt, it just shows <waiting for device>. I've been searching the whole internet just to find the answer and still can't :crying:

Long story short, I'm trying to flash my nVidia Shield TV Pro 2015 with v7.0.2 recovery image, because I could not get past the initial nVidia "looking for experience upgrade", and thus not use the device at all.
I unlocked bootloader by fastboot, rebooted, flashed staging and boot.img, reboot (like flash-all.bat and nVidia Instructions says), but after the reboot neither of my two Windows 10 computers can recognize the Shield in fastboot mode as a USB device.
I've tried:
* Uninstall/ reinstall drivers through Device Manager
* Registry "hack" for disabling a check performed by Windows for USB devices (https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/fix-unknown-usb-device-device-t3375320)
Any ideas on how to successfully connect to it through fastboot, in order to finish the flashing process?
Are there other ways of restoring it, like putting a image to a USB stick, go to recovery?
After updating my shield tv to Oreo I successfully downgraded to 6.3.0 so that I could play PUBG mobile using octopus app. Well now that PUBG mobile detects the octopus app and bans players for using the app I wanted to go back to Oreo. I downloaded the recovery image 7.1.0 and got my device recognized by my pc windows 10. Ran the command adb devices and my device was recognized. I proceeded to run the adb Fastboot devices and my pc recognized my device. I then ran the adb reboot bootloader command. Then I ran the flash-all.bat command. This is where I’m stuck. My device is stuck in bootloader. My pc no longer detects my device when I run the adb devices or Fastboot. I am able to boot to recovery kernel on the shield. I have tried to apply update from adb but I think I’m not getting the correct files. If I select apply update from adb My PC does recognize my device as sideload. No Fastboot devices found. Please help me get my device back to Oreo or just operating.

I bricked my 2015 16gb shield tv. Powers up then turns off immediately
You must install the USB Drivers from NVIDIA, there is a separate driver that your computer needs to communicate while in fastboot/bootloader. So just because ADB works, does not mean Fastboot will work.
