How to Access Lockscreen Options in Settings - Fire HD 8 and HD 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a way for the average user to access the lockscreen lock settings in Settings? Because I've seen it show up when I was messing around with it but I can't find it searching on my own. Is it one of those hidden setting things?
My model is KFONWI. Kindle Fire HD 8 Plus, 10th Gen.

You must use the Activity Launcher app by Adam Szalkowski from Google Play or APKPure to access hidden settings.

Setting lockscreen wallpaper

I've rooted my HD 10 2017 (5.6.0.0), installed google services/play store etc, then unrooted. One thing I don't see how to change is the lockscreen wallpapers. Whenever I turn on the display there's another wallpaper there. They're very nice but how do I replace them with a single wallpaper, such as the same one I'm using when unlocked?
Perhaps related - the app Magic Fluids has an option for live wallpapers but it doesn't work on this device. I wonder if it's for a related reason?
I did disable a bunch of amazon apps but I was fairly careful and I don't remember any mentioning wallpapers.

The simple no frills way... Settings --> Display --> Wallpaper
Your wallpaper and lock screen background will be the same. There may be some apps out there on Google play that will set each individually, but I haven't tried yet. I only got my HD10 yesterday and rooted and installed all the Google stuff. Pleasantly surprised I got YouTubeTV to work. Love this tablet so far.
EDIT.. answered my own question... I installed Google Wallpapers and set a wallpaper there and it changed my home screen but my lock screen seems to be controlled by the Amazon wallpaper settings. So set your lock screen wallpaper first via the settings menu, and then go get Google wallpapers (others may work too) and set your homescreen.

Disable pull-down menu?

I've used Fire Toolbox 10 and Activity Launcher to meet most of the needs of my Fire HD 8. The last item on my laundry list is to disable the pull-down menu. The launcher I use retracts it the instant it's pulled down, but that's enough time to do some damage if you're fast. Can I use either of the above apps to accomplish this or do I need something else?
Quick settings menu can not be disabled on most (unrooted) Android builds including FireOS. Not a tweakabke item

Cannot set custom launcher as default AND cannot change wallpaper!

Hi! I just bought a new Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus, the latest version, and used Fire Toolkit to remove all the Amazon stuff. I installed both Niagara and Nova launchers, and they will not stay set as the default launchers...
Also, I cannot change wallpaper in my settings! It just keeps jumping back to the previous settings screen.
Not sure what is going on, everything else Toolkit did is fine. Thanks!
You are running Fire OS 7.3.2.2? Amazon protected some system apps, including launcher. So it is not possible to change the default launcher.

I'm having the same issue. When I try to change the wallpaper it exits out of the settings. I was able to change wallpapers though using other wallpaper apps. For instance, the Resplash app on Google Play store let me download and change the lockscreen/home screen wallpaper with no issue.
The only issue is changing the wallpaper from the settings menu. That doesn't work for some reason.

Custom Launcher problem with Fire HD10 plus

Hello XDA team,
First of all, Thank you for your support with Fire Toolbox.
I can customize my HD10 plus tablet with Fire Toolbox!!!
Today, I have downloaded FTB, and this version is V25.2.
And 'Google Services', 'Keyboard and Input', 'Lockscreen Management', and 'Manage Amazon Apps' was successful.
But I have faced some problem with Custom Launcher.
I have set 'Nova Launcher' in there, then I can found Nova Launcher app in my tablet.
When I executed this Nova Launcher app, this app showed me it was now set to default app.
So I tried to set this Nova Launcher app to Default.
But I could not find configuration menu in the 'Default apps' menu.
So, in the Nova Launcher app, if I pushed home button, my tablet back to Fire launcher.
Coud you check this problem?
my tablet build number is 0022247233412
Device model is Fire HD10 Plus.
FTB version is 25.2.
Thank you and Best Regards,
See the Fire Toolbox thread...newer update prevents replacing the launcher. I'm in the same boat.
Sounds like you might have FireOS 7.3.2.2.
In version 7.3.2.2 they made some things protected including the launcher which prevents it from being replaced.
No word on if there is a fix. I made some complaints to Amazon, and I'm waiting to see if someone finds a solution.
