8227L YT9216BJ sound problem - Android Head-Units

Hi
I installed the head unit 8227L YT9216BJ.
I have some problem, when I turn on radio/music from default player/YouTube it's sounds good but when I play music from spotify/YouTube music it's lower and without bass, sounds bad.

There is nothing wrong with your unit other than it's bad overall quality. The sound in these units is horrific, pure and simple. What people do is to mod these units (install different electronic components) and that way the sound can become really hi-end. Feel free to check out the video in my signature that will show what I mean.
You could also check out this guide that provides help on many improvements including the sound quality. Other cool things are how you can make the unit look.

Eonon GA9350b - Sound is dead after ECU replacement

Hey, I have changed my ECU on my E46 and my HU Eonon GA9350b also completely lost the sound. Everything works except the sound.
I have updated the MCU, the software, I also have checked all the wiring and I even replaced it with my old Pioneer and the sound works on it.
Does anyone have any idea what it might be?
Did you check the sound level in advanced setup? There are controls there to adjust the levels for.different sources. It might be called "Factory Settings".
I have a different model and couldn't get any sound out of mine. Adjusting those levels fixed it for me.

Hi 007matman, are you talking about the entry-level of sound in factory settings? If so, yes I did check them and all are above 0 (Image attached)

Anyone have the Carlaoer F-Z-701TA?

I've been looking into picking up an android headunit for my WRX and I cannot justify buying a $400+ Android auto headunit. It's just too expensive. I found the Carlaoer F-Z-701TA(https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32946430734.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.3ad33c003kBuQF&mp=1) on Aliexpress and have been really keen on getting it for it's cheap price point of $80, and it's ability to run apps. I know that since it's cheap, there may be some problems, but the reviews seem promising. I don't care for music too much as the OEM headunit is garbage anyways. What I really care for is the ability to run Torque to view information about my car while driving. It helps me to monitor my car while on the track or even on the streets to make sure everything is in good working condition. Other than that, the ability to run Spotify + Waze is another nice to have.
Yes, I could use my Cobb AccessPort (It's a datalogging/tuner tool) or use Torque on my Phone, but it's extra things that could go flying in the car on the track.
Has anyone had long term experience with the Carlaoer F-Z-701TA? Any thoughts? Should I avoid it and go for something else?

Joying Head Units Bluetooth workaround?

Sorry to bother you guys but figured I have tried two of the resident experts on this type of stuff with no luck, and I apologize that I am not very knowledgeable on this stuff. I totally redid my 84 Monte Carlo SS both outside and now finishing up the inside of it. While doing so I came up with the idea of having a dedicated head unit run a backup camera, air ride controls, and other accessory type of stuff. While having a second unit run the stereo and front facing DVR, I thought I was all set because it had Bluetooth and I avoided the issue of having my phone run bluetooth stereo on one while the other would be able to bluetooth for the air ride.
What I currently have is these two units, JY-UOS02N4PX5S and UK-JY-UOS01P4V. The UK-JY-UOS01P4V is the unit I was hoping to run the Ridetech air ride app on to control the air ride. But I can change how I have the two setup if it would make a difference, but think they are pretty much the same specs except that the UK-JY-UOS01P4V has fast boot which is part of the reason for choosing to run it on the accessory stuff. Thanks for your time and sorry for creating another thread but have searched through and not found anything related to my specific units. Here is a pic of the basic setup of them to mimic modern cars to a point.

Unknown Head Unit

Good evening everyone I have recently buyed a used car (Alfa Romeo MiTo) and I found a PX6 car radio already mounted on it.
I would have some questions to ask you (I am attaching the specifications in the photo):
- On the car stereo is installed the hal9k 5.0.0 version based on android 10, I was reading on the internet that the stock 11 version was released, now my problem is that i don't know exactly who the manufacturer of the stereo is, even if only to be able to reinstall the stock and get an idea.
- I delighted in updating the MCU bringing it to the latest version available on the net looking for MCTE_LY ..... But I saw that there are also other types of "MCTD" for example or "MCTE_XX" with two other final letters; I wanted to try to understand how the nomenclature works? Are they incremental letters? Is one worth the other? Is there a better ones or a worse?
Thanks to those who answer, I think that in the meantime, understanding that '' beast '' is could help me ....

android headunit help needed

Hello all,
I installed a chinese headunit to my car (grand cherokee 2013 with premium sound system),i had to modify the wiring harness becuase the sound system only receives the front speakers and the amplifier in the car does the rest of the work, now everything works fine except call audio in carplay because it seems to use only the line coming out of the headunit to the back speakers, call audio on bluetooth works well.
i have tried everything possible in the available settings in the headunit but no luck to make the integrated carplay to use the line of the front speakers, carplay uses a built in app called car link 2.0 which doesnt have much settings to customize it.
i am considering rooting the system to gain more access to the settings, and hopefully find a work around, the attached image is the info of the headunit, it says android 13 but actually it is 8.1, i need help rooting it and i have no experience wahtsoever in android systems.
or if there is a work around this problem without rooting it, it would be a great help, i have tried all the possible solution that show up in google search and no luck.
