Font size of Battery charge percentage! - Redmi K20 / Xiaomi Mi 9T Questions & Answers

I may not be the youngest person using this phone, but I usually can see and read very well.
But I found I canNOT really read the percentage of battery charge in the top right corner, without a magnifying glass.
Changing Text/Font size in the display settings, does not include enlarging that important information.
Does anybody have a solution for that?
Thank you.....

No, you can change battery percentage to next to the icon

Sounds worth a try... how do I do that?

Someone told me... it worked... Thank You

You can use TouchLockPro with its built-in BattClock

[Q] Any battery icon mods that work?

I can't seem to get any battery icon mods to work through Xposed. The color changer in Wanam doesn't work, and neither does the module here:

Does anyone have an icon mod that works? That green color is a terrible eyesore...

I ended up using Wanam to disable the battery icon and just themed the numerical percentage instead.
If you change the battery to "enable circle battery" under the notifications panel settings, you can change the color to whatever you like. I like it better than the other battery anyways because it takes up less space and has the percentage inside of it. That's the only one I know of that works though

I'm having trouble changing the colors on the circle battery. I see the options, but nothing seems to be working. What exactly did you do?

Make sure to turn it on in the color panel when choosing the color and hit save.

I'm also looking for something else that works. The xbattery themer does nothing. I'm currently using Wanam circle battery, but I want a non-colored theme (colors change from yellow to red as the battery depletes). I changed the circle battery color to green, and I can live that for now since this thing is a beast and is rarely in the red anyway...BUT, I'm trying to change the percentage text color and it isn't working. There's an option for that but it doesn't do anything, so the circle battery is green and so is the percentage inside it, and that looks like crap IMO. If I could just get the percentage to turn white I'd be somewhat satisfied for now.
Xbattery themer now works!
i would love to rock a htc sense plain old green battery wonder what could do that

The xbattery themer thread has quite a few options that are "stock-like". Just search for the module in xposed and the support thread url is at the bottom.

HI can anyone of you tell me how to get the circle battery?
I have checked the box to enable circle battery and it asks for a reboot, once i reboot nothing happens?
Any help is appreciated.
There is a thread that has over 1000 flashable batteries http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2470495

This is probably a dumb question but is there a round battery % in the stock rom? I'm just looking for the same round icon that changed color with battery percentage as my note 2 had. Thanks for the dumb questions but I cannot seem to find it in the notification area where some say it should be.
Dave
@op you ever found a way to have the stock battery but with diff colors?

Stock OOS - Looking for a way to put the battery percent in the battery icon

Without using any app.
Is there a native way to accomplish this mod, seem to remember this being fairly common in the days before xposed etc. While I have gotten the percent to show, it appears next to the batt icon.
I am not looking for apps or ways of accomplishing this via things from the play store, so please do not suggest them.
EDIT: to be clear i am not looking for the current way OOS places the percent in the statusbar. I am looking for a way to have the percent WITHIN the battery icon.
I have figured it out using Minit as suggested in this thread, but looking for a cleaner way since Minit is not as nice as the stock icons + only skins after boot completes.
Only way i know of in OOS is with 3minit battery mod
Settings > Status Bar > "Show Battery Percentage"?

Was also looking for it, but there is no stock option that would achieve that (I am aware of).

He wants to have the battery percentage inside the battery icon. Your solution just puts it next to the icon.

That is correct, I have percent enabled right now, but its such a waste of real estate in the statusbar.

I will look into 3minit, have you been successful in getting this running on your OP5?
Wow, that was pretty easy... Got 3minit running well. Some small padding issues in the statusbar... anyone know what may be causing. It appears the stock OOS battery icons didnt hide/change to 0.0dip, I hid them with the stock functionality.
Issue is the 3minit battery icon is a little too close to the clock....
thoughts?
Here is s a screenshot of how it currently looks, would like some advice how to fix that slight padding issue next to the clock

I have an OP3 but sucessfull used it, yes. Its working on all devices afaik. You just need to do some editing in your OPSystemUI.apk. everything else is explained in the main 3minit thread. If you need help editing the xml file the correct way, you can pm me, i still have example xml from OP3, should be the same as OP5.
Edit: nevermind, you already got it working. The icon being too close to the clock is something i also noticed. You cant change that, except trying out other icons.
You can just switch off the battery icon and display text only, I never understood the icon anyway, not accurate at all.

Rectangle in status bar

This just appeared today. How do I get rid of it? Rebooted and it's still there. Nothing appears in notification shade. Thanks.

No, that's a rectangle. To the left of the battery percentage
You on about the phone looking symbol? That's the screen size setting for apps.
Like choosing 16:9 etc.
Think it's under display settings
Actually it means you have auto-rotate turned off.

Battery percentage Chopped from Below

Everyone has might observed that the icons in notch are poorly arranged.
The wifi sign's base is high than the cell signal indicators.
The battery percentage is chopped from below side. How can asus give such a feature above google?
The drop down notification icons are of monster size.
The very main thing is that when we click photo, it becomes dull inspite it should be rich in details.
Kindly Asus provide any reason for not correcting these things.
I don't see the battery percentage chopped!! Have you updated it to the latest fota? It optimises the notch!! It's not perfect qt this stage a few more updates are required still! As for camera, i highly suggest you enable camera 2 api and use google camera ports! They improve image quality by a stellar amount! I'll provide a snap!

Set your phone's display size to small. Then you can see that battery percentage is chopped in the bottom.
Yes it has been chopped
Printshot attached
I am attaching screen shot. Please also share your printshot Mr Dsmith
Yup sadly it is!! The notch is optimised for default screen size apparently!!
It has been chopped! Also i saw when you set the display size to large the status bar becomes wider than the notch
I don't have any issue with small display size (on last update)

I would suggest everyone who is having battery number and logo cut issue after update.. set an alarm and it might adjust the status bar to fit the battery icon and text till we get a fix from Asus.. ?
