you can still down it here, just need to disable adblocks and make sure you are downloading a file that's 16MB, not the 3MB version as it might be adware or something

[Drivers] FlashTool Xperia Driver Pack (v1.5) [20140318]

FlashTool Xperia Driver Pack!
Windows drivers for all the Xperia devices in a single package!
Latest Release: v1.5
Build Date: 2014/03/18
[ info ]
Hi all,
we have been using our beloved Xperia phones for quite some time now and we know how annoying it is when we cant find correct drivers for a new device or on a new PC!
Androxyde had worked on incorporating all the drivers right inside flashtool and we have been suppling them as "Flashtool-driver.exe" with every flashtool release for windows!
But since the driver release and flashtool release are not always in sync we have decided to also release this drivers pack separately!
hence forth we will be maintaining this thread and keep releasing updated Xperia drivers as and when they become available on Sony website
hope this helps!

It doesn't work on Windows 8.1 even with the driver signing disabled.....
At least not on my notebook
For people having issues on Windows 8/8.1
Works on Windows 8. I believe it should also work on Windows 8.1.
All you need to do is disable driver signature enforcement:
1. Open the Charms Bar in Windows 8 /8.1 and select “Settings”
2. Select “Change PC Settings”
3. Select “General”
4. Go to the bottom of the page and select “Restart Now” under “Advanced Start-Up”
5. Select “Troubleshoot”
6. Select “Advanced Options”
7. Select “Start-Up Settings”
8. Select the Restart button
9. Press "7" from your Keyboard.
10. After restart, you can install normally!

Sony hasnt specifically released drivers for these devices here:
http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/
there are no specific drivers but you can try and select all drivers and install... hopefully one of them should work.. if it doesnt then let me know... i have an idea
For those who are having drivers problem in windows 8.1 and/or cant get to flash mode or fastboot mode just go to system32/drivers and replace these attached files with the orignal one with administrative access.. and restart your computer .Assuming you have both Sony Pc companion and flashtool installed try to connect your phone again and hurraahhhh phone should be connected..:fingers-crossed:

If all I am trying to do is root my Sony Xperia Z Ultra, C6806, all I need is that driver plus the flashboot and flashmode drivers?
Which drivers should be installed for the XSP and yea the drivers wont work on the Windows 8.1 I can confirm that.
The only know working solution right now is to use the usb files from earlier version which I think u can find by searching the XDA.
what about 2011 mdpi devices? mini, mini pro, active, lww

[CALLING DEVELOPERS] Jolla's Sailfish OS port continuity (GNU/Linux)

Hey fellows!
A screenshot of another older phone for attention: https://twitter.com/sledgeSim/status/625235917486338048
yuga's Sailfish OS port was shaping up during past months, by @oleid, but he got carried away by his studies. Now that Sailfish OS UX 2.0 is on the doorstep, is a good time to restart a port! If you're completely new: https://sailfishos.org/hadk
We also just provided LED notification support for Xperia Z, but this needs testing: https://github.com/nemomobile/mce-plugin-libhybris/pull/16
Original porter left all documentation here: https://wiki.merproject.org/wiki/Adaptations/libhybris/Install_SailfishOS_for_yuga (including link to automated script) and modem hurdles: http://piratepad.net/hadk-yuga
Pop by to #sailfishos-porters and we'll guide you through if you want to make a build a new Sailfish OS version for your beloved phone, and also make those phonecalls work
Cheers!

You're in the wrong place here. This it the subforum for the Xperia Z
I suggest you to read the following links:
Basic instructions from Sony:
https://developer.sonymobile.com/open-devices/aosp-build-instructions/
Lineage OS Wiki:
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/yuga/build
(this is for Xperia Z, you should be able to change it accordingly to your XA1)
Also here's an instruction from member @FSadino:

UBPorts Ubuntu Touch + Halium

My M8 has been sitting in a drawer for too long… just installed an amazing Android ROM on it but I want it to enter its next phase of life…
…. With Ubuntu Touch.
Right now it’s based on 16.04 and should be getting an upgrade to 20.04 “soon”
Halium is the base for the OS and with all the LineageOS ports it does not seem like there should be a problem getting Ubuntu installed!
Privacy and security are its focuses as an OS - it runs really well on other devices and is also great as a tinker phone.
Anyone want to give this a shot once I have some flashable images?
link?
