Anyone got motion sense working universally? - Google Pixel 4 Questions & Answers

I think motion sense is one of the coolest, yet least used, parts of the Pixel 4, and it's so annoying that it only works in 20 or so apps. Has anyone been able to make it work as a universal music controller, similar to how headphones control audio? Thanks!

Justop K9B stick MK809 ii

Hi, my first post so be gentle!
Does anyone have one of these, it is the Bluetooth version of the MK809 ii and although I'm generally happy with it, it does have a few shortfalls. I am using it with a lan adaptor which works well.
I have a webcam that sort of works with Skype, but the large (Skype caller) and small (local webcam) images are the wrong way round, so if anyone calls I have to squint at the tiny picture! I tried the version off xda but it's the same. Any help there would be appreciated.
I've never dabbled with flashing anything android but should I be looking at doing this perhaps, and if so I have not seen any mention of the Bluetooth version of the MK809ii. I'll probably turn it into a vegetable anyway!
I welcome any thoughts/experience with this gadget.
Cheers

which lan adapter are you using and how much.
I am looking to buy the mk809ii, and was wondering what are some CONs and disadvantage you are seeing now? I heard it is much better than the mk808 as it has less glitches?

I'm using the BOBJGEAR usb to Lan android adapter, works fine out of the box on my tv stick.
Aside from the Skype problem above (REALLY annoying!), not too many cons to be honest, just minor niggles mainly with some apps not being suited to it.
-Youtube seems to have lost its ability to go full screen for some reason, works fine on my Nexus 7 and is the same version.
-I have tried a few DLNA media apps to try and view pictures, videos etc from my NAS and they appear to be occasionally laggy across my network, the media app that came with the stick seems to work the best but looks pants!
-Watching films is generally a good experience, but the rendering isn't fantastic on darker films, probably mainly due to the quality of videos I have. Youtube HD videos are perfect.
-Google earth works but there doesn't seem to be any zoom buttons so is useless, i haven't looked into that yet.
All in all i'm happy with it, I bought a Xenta bluetooth keyboard with built in mouse which connects fine directly with the built in bluetooth. The mouse is a bit frustrating though so will be buying a bluetooth mouse.
Hope that helps
hi sadsplace, im just thinking of buying one, are you still happy 2 weeks in, any new suggestions?
thanks

No Skype calls on new MK 809 II
I just got this new TV stick which seems to be working fine. Still, I'm unable to make calls in Skype. I attached a USB webcam and I also paired a bluetooth headset, I enabled video calls in Skype, but when I get to call anyone, after 2 or 3 rings, the call fails no matter if the other party answered or not. The only error message I see is "Call failed".
If anyone experienced this, is there a way to at least see if the webcam and the BT microphone are correctly installed? I tried several webcam apps from Google Play just to get an immage on my screen and finally I got one, but not in Skype.. .

[Q] Music equalizers

Hello everyone,
I just recently made the jump from a S2 to the S4 and I must say this phone surpasses all my expectations so far. The only thing that I find I need to get working better is the audio for music. Playing music in the google music app seems kinda flat. My old phone phone was rooted and I had beats audio on it, but with my new phone I don't really need to root it till we get LTE in my area for wifi tethering. That's really all i need to root for. Can anyone recommend a way to increase my audio experience? I have tried a couple of equalizers off the play store but they only seem to work for a short time before they stop and I have to reboot or reload the app.
Thanks for any advice or help anyone can give.
Brian
EDIT: I mainly use a LG BT headset with my phone so that would need to be supported ( which has been part of my issue ) .
Any one help out ?

Miracast / Screen Mirroring Feature

Hello everyone,
How is your opinion about the Z1´s Miracast (aka Screen Mirroring) feature?
After a few testing I must say that i am a bit disappointed.
Its not the lag (kind of natural for the current state of Miracast) that makes me say this, but the lack of a stable connection.
It works great for viewing static content like pictures, but fails when sending a stream, e.g. music or videos. This mostly results in stutters, bad sound / video quality or even a loss of connection.
P.S.: I am using Netgears ptv3000 as receiver, which works great with my laptop.
best regards.
MicroSoft Miracast Problems
I too am disappointed with the Miracast implementation on my Z1.
I have updated to the latest version of 4.4.4 and I tried to set up the Microsoft Display adapter (Miracast) with the Z1 and it fails due to HDCP support issues.
Apparently Sony is so paranoid that they block the Z1 from talking to anything that is not fully HDCP 2.2 compliant. Really, I bought your phone, and the people that want to steal your content can already do it, with our without your HDCP limits. All that Sony is doing is making it hard on their own customers.
OK, put a block on the Walkman app or the movie app if you need but I just want to project my screen into my car's AppRadio.
I can use MHL ... no problem but I don't like having to open and close the USB port every time I get into or out of my car. I want to use the magnetic charger for power and the wireless Miracast to sent images to the AppRadio.
Apparently the problem is that Microsoft is not 2.2, but really this is Sony trying to hold the Keys too tight.
Just like apple did with iTunes. Look what happened there. The DMR made it a hassel so people got free music of the web. Once Apple opened up the access and removed DMR then people were able to listen their way and iTune sales jumped.
Are you listening Sony ...
Apparently Sony has said they will fix this in Lollipop but I don't have 5.0 yet, I need a fix now.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to turn the HDCP restrictions off on my otherwise stock (but rooted) Z1
Thanks,
C
miracast worked fine with my tv until kitkat, jellybean worked fine

Xtrons td730a

Is anyone familiar with this unit? I just received mine and theres a few bugs. Sometimes when booting it will freeze and i have to reboot it , the other is the Bluetooth audio is terrible. When connected thw sound is real high and crackles. But other audio sounds fine. Its weird, its in a sense a stock android unit, but it looks like the Bluetooth functionality has been altered. The only way for bluetooth to play is to open the pre-installed bluetooth app. It wont play unless this app is opened. If someone can make a more stock and stable rom i will make a donation. Just let me know what is needed. I also tried the an 21 u root method and it did not work.

Has anyone made a rom that routes all audio correctly through the ESS DAC?

Anyone know of a rom or music player that finally takes full advantage of the ESS dac? I know the LG Music Player plays Hi Rez files correctly but plays 16/44.1 tracks as 16/48. Anyone know of something that plays everything correctly through the ESS?
Use DAC fix from the market if u have problems on aosp otherwise it works on stock ROMs

Think he's talking about that other thread that supposedly found out that the DAC is capable of up to 192kz or whatever the measurement is and there is no way to play a 192 file through Android as it always down samples to 96.
Basically there is no way to take complete full advantage of the DAC because of limitations.
