I accidentally checked the Re-partition button in Odin, the storage only recognize 32GB now - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Questions & Answers

Hello everyone,
I have a phone beyond2qlte and I accidentally checked the "Re-partition" button in Odin without PIT, the storage only recognize 32GB now (The original size is 512GB). i am so stupid and would be so grateful for your kind help.
My phone is Snapdragon and tried every method to flash TWRP but still bootloop. I just want to have a phone for normal use now, but it seems so hard....
I flashed BL,AP,CP, CSC but still failed...
Please help me. Thanks a lot

Have you attempted a factory reset?

I think you have to flash PIT file from your S10+ firmware.
here the articles you can follow :

Here're the steps to extract the Samsung PIT file from a Samsung firmware. The CSC binary contains the PIT for your Galaxy device.

Bricked my sgs4?

Hi, Tried to install root through odin for the first time but the install didn't complete.
Now my sgs won't boot anymore.
It gives, the firmware upgrade error.
I can boot into download mode.
When i try to flash the original firmware for the i9505 it gives an error (something about a pit file missing)...
What can i do to get my sgs4 working again?

seems partitions are corrupt so try getting the 16GB pit file and set it in odin with the repartition option enabled..... and try flashing the new firmware
Under normal circumstances, DO NOT tick "re-partition" during Odin flash of firmware.
Only tick "re-partition" if you have the PIT file as described in previous post
Ensure any firmware (double check !) is that for your specific model.

There's a .pit file in the DOWNLOADER folder at this link: moulnisky DOT com/index.php?dir=Samsung/Firmwares/GT-I9505/
I haven't tested it so don't know if it works, but there you go.
P.S. I had the same issue and restored my phone using Kies firmware recovery mode: samsung DOT com/us/support/SupportOwnersFAQPopup.do?faq_id=FAQ00048586&fm_seq=52928

[Q] I need help! Soft brick my note 4, need a .PIT file.

My phone is stuck on firmware on "upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again."
I tried Kies 3 and it doesn't recognise the phone. I tried different firmwares the invalid .4ext error and says the file too big 475000 < 512000 something among those lines. I read that I will need to re-partition the memory with .PIT file for the note 4, which is no where to be found on google. I hope someone will be kind enough to extract the .PIT file from their phone and post it here.
Cheers,
Mus

I tried many way nothing happen i cant use odin fail in everything i try to flash with rom or recovery. and now phone keep restarting and i cant wipe data?? anything i add or delete after restart go back like before like nothing happen?????
Guys I tried flash latest Sweden and have same problem size too big and ext4 failed, then I flash Philz recovery and voila phone booted everything its ok!!!
If you download a stock Samsung ROM, remove the .md5 from the end of it, and then extract the archive, you should find the PIT file in there.
I've not had to do it myself, because I'm using an S4 at the moment and was able to get a PIT file download on its own. So I can't verify 100% that it will be there, but I read it in a thread somewhere that it is.
Give it a try..
same problem
i hv same problem. but after instaling all samsung recovery.tar via odin it stuck on start up showing "android is not seandroid recovery."
i hv tried dfrnt stock firmware to flash via odin but all fails. need help?????????????

hi yes its genuine s5 i have owned it for over a year and got direct from EE. I did try flashing pit file with odin but still the same i cant even save a picture from browser any ideas. I cant even save a picture from twitter comes up could not be saved
The only other time Ive seen an Android device say the same about no storage, was due to messed up partitions, and in that case, there was no PIT file, I had to fix it manually using ADB Shell etc
The PIT file, if flashed correctly, should repartition the phone
Did you check the "Repartition" box in ODIN when flashing the PIT file?
got it sorted what i did was Nand erase all with odin then download 4.4.2 firmware then g900f pit file loaded them into odin. Flashed phone BINGO phone booted straight away and is working perfect
Hello, having the same issue after fixing a bootlooped s5 g900f , now cant take pictures nor save thinga or download wazap media, google play seemes to work out fine but atill cant download any media , how do i get the PIT file (i have other s5 at home) can i download with odin and ipdate mine? Do i lose all the data? Van anyone pass a link to the PIT file?

Help Needed Please

Hi
I have managed to F*** up my Samsung S7 Edge.
I am currently stuck on Samsung Logo , I have twrp 3.1.0.1 installed and can enter bootloader without issue.
I cannot however install stock rom through Odin, it states pit file needed, I have tried several with no results.
In twrp unable to Wipe data as unable to mount storage. Not able to install from zip as pc does not see storage.
I have tried the following stock firmware
G935FXXU1DQC4_G935FOXA1DQB1_BTU
I have tried installing new CSC which i believe has pit file inbedded.
I have tried installing each part separately BL,AP,CSC, etc
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Did you uncheck "repartition" in Odin? Do NOT repartition.

Hi Yes I did.
Hi All
Update after 18hrs i have managed to rectify the above problem.
I downloaded a Marshmallow firmware and installed CSC file. This flashed the missing pit file and then got stuck on Nand Write Start. I tried installing full firmware but same issue. I then attempted Nougat full firmware which installed!!!!!
That was slightly more stressful than it should of been. Never happened before. Some seriously dodgy looks from the Mrs.

ODIN : Flash read failure + No pit binary

Hello guys,
My note 4 was having some reboot problems and when I try to boot in recovery mode I was getting error that it couldn't boot in normal mode.
I read somewhere that I should be doing a clean flash for the PIT file and the stock Rom, I started with the PIT file and it went perfectly with Odin.
But later when I tried flashing the ROM, it fails with the following errors:
- ODIN: flash read failure
- ERROR: There is no pit binary
I'm sure I have used the exact pit file for my model, I've tried flashing the Rom and the pit file at the same time but always the same error, now even retrying to flash the PIT file fails.
I'm wondering if there is any way I can fix this problem.
Thank you

I bet 100$ (which you'll pay) that nobody can find in your message the hidden sentence about the model of your note 4.
If, by the grace of the literate and smart people here, someone can 100% say that your phone is a 910F or similar model with a Snapdragon CPU, then...
Maybe your phone has a health problem plague called eMMC failure.
Or so it looks like.
You want my paypal account ? :silly:
Did you try newer versions of Odin?
And try also the PC app of Samsung - SmartSwitch - it can flash the original firmware based on the SN of your phone (located under the battery).
Read some more about these steps and try.
Tho, it looks like a dead emmc.

Sorry man, I forgot to mention my phone model, which is N910F.
The eMMC failure error only showed once on the recovery mode.
I've tried different versions of Odin, 3.13, 3.10 and 3.09, same error.
I also tried with SmartSwitch but for some reason they say that my model is not supported.

Interesting, I have an 910C (Exynos) and the SmartSwitch worked for me - I've had a soft brick too.
Oh, well... don't have too many hopes for the emmc issue. As far as it's known this means death.
Sorry for your loss.
