Flash Recovery -> FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)

Hello Guys,
After serveral month with TWRP & other stuff I've flashed stock B161 today.
Now I want to flash TWRP because of SuperSU.
I opened Minimal ADB&Fastboot (Work's fine the last month) and booted in bootloader. Then I've typed:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
And got the alert:
FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
Yes, Bootloader is unlocked.
OEM-Unlock is activated to.

it's some kind of bug i think, it says it's unlocked, but it isn't, try unlocking again. it's only unlocked if you get a warning everytime you boot up the phone

My phone in fastboot show me bootloader unlocked but when boot up the phone that warning message dont show up.what that mean??its unlock or not????

it's not unlocked if it says command not allowed.
try unlocking again, it should work after that
when you flash a stock rom, the bootloader gets locked again, but for some reason it still says unlocked in fastboot mode. it's probably to prevent you from restoring warranty after unlocking your device

as i said before in this thread, unlock the bootloader

FRP locked can be problem also. My experience.

I have this problem on honor7 but it happens when I try to erase a partition I
I also can't root I installed SuperSU with TWRP but no root access after reboot

I have that problem. Phone is unlocked and FRP locked. I am not able to flash TWRP. For the time being I am stucked. I get a message when booting that the phone is unlocked and unsafe and so on... Someone have a solution?

I fixed that after some ways to fix. Try some of these on YT. It worked for me.

If I cannot get to the dialer, am I still able to unlock bootloader somehow? I do not have unlock code.

My phone wont boot up, I've tried everything, litteraly (can't access TWRP btw), I have only fastboot...
Please help... Also I have stock rom for phone, but can't do sh*t with it, cant boot on phone, not via fastboot....

But does it work on stock recovery image flashing? EMUI Updater? And ohhh, my bootloader is locked BTW, can't flash ****

If your bootloader is locked you have to unlock it..

Yes, can do that, and it shows my device... But yhat litteraly all what I have, beside EMUI rom flash... Again, bootloader is locked, I dont have phone id or something to get the code... Also cant flash recovery.img, because bootloader is again... Locked

It-s a bootloader code based by IMEI/SN.

Hi.
I´ve a similar problem. My phone stucks on huawei logo. Bootloader is locked but I have bootloader code.
So, when i try to send it with fastboot command, it shows me this error
C:\Telefonia>fastboot oem unlock 143172182xxxxxx
...
FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)

Does anyone knows what´s the problem and how can I solve it.

Flashing bootloader failed

Hello, I have a Huawei P8 lite, and I'm stuck with this one. He doesn't want to start, I can't go to the recovery, I can just go to the bootloader. But, when I want to flash something, it always says " Failed [ command not allowed ] ". My bootloader is unlocked.

Unlock again your bootloader even if it says is unlocked.

I actualy can't, but when I try to flash something like system.img, boot.img or recovery.img, it's like :
Fastboot flash system system.img
Sending 'system'
Failed [ remote : command not allowed ]
It's not exacly this, but it always says Failed [ remote : command not allowed ].

I've extracted the .img files on the " minimal and & fastboot " folder. And I've unlocked my bootloader with a Spanish command ( it was a .bat file ).

By the way, how can I get the bootloader code ? Because my phone can't start, so I can't get the Product ID. I tried to get him with the product ID generator, but it's not the good code...

Please help me I need this phone alive ???

Try flashing bootloader and gpt codes then give it a try.(note:- use the latest firmware to flash the bootloader and gpt, so your device won't get bricked)

Connect your device to PC and enter the command in fastboot (assuming you are having stock firmware in fastboot file)
Fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
Fastboot flash partition gpt.bin
And then try unlocking your bootloader.

I think you get the serial code from your phone but you can't get the unlock code from Motorola, right??

Oneplus 8T Bootloader Unlock Error with unlock.bin

Hello....I am getting the following error when trying to unlock the bootloader through fastboot even after I obtained 288bytes unlock.bin file from the OnePlus website. My network is still locked to T-Mobile, but I have heard of people unlocking the bootloader while network is still locked.

Writing 'cust-unlock' FAILED (remote: 'Error - Verify Failed ! (4:-2)')

Tried with the bin file in the platform tools folder and same error as below:

U have to get unlock token from oneplus. Or have a bypass for it. Which i do. But wont release

I have the bin file as mentioned in my original post. Just don't know what the 'Verify Failed ! (4:-2))' error means.

It means you have the wrong unlock token. The only workaround I know of is to convert your variant to Europe with the MSM from another thread. That won't require a unlock.bin code and you can just unlock the bootloader simply by fastboot flashing unlock. If I had another bypass, I would share it with you, some people are just not willing to be very helpful.

sim unlock is totally different, I can't help you with that, but yes, your phone will be wiped, so back everything up. I had the same problem as you have. I received a unlock token code that won't verify either and EU is the only workaround I know. You can always MSM back to T-Mobile if you decide not to stay with EU but then you will require a unlock token again.

Ohh okay. I heard someone say that
Unlocked bootloader without unlock_token must be done while in OOS11, as OOS12+ ABL will check that a token is needed
I am on Android 12.

yes but when you MSM to EU, you will be back on 11 so you can. Just do it before you update back to 12.

Oh okay...so I can still unlock the bootloader although Im now on Android 12 since I get downgraded to 11 after the EU conversion right? That's great brother. Thank you so very much for a the help. I greatly appreciate it.

yes correct, and no problem anytime. When you convert to EU it will put you back on 11. Then unlock bootloader first. Then you can update back to 12 and it won't matter because your bootloader will already be unlocked.
