Bypassing Motoblur setup on Flipside? - Flipside General

I recently received a Motorola Flipside MB508, and I would like to bypass the Motoblur setup since it does not work. Is this possible, and if it is possible, how do you do it?

Try
Press the 4 corners of the screen in a clockwise direction starting with the top left corner. Your device should then jump straight to the home screen!

How to change the lock screen?

Hi Guys.
Just received my Xperia X10 2 days ago, and one of the things I hate is the lock screen.
Coming from the HTC Magic, the fact that you have to swipe from bottom left to top right drives me nuts.
Is there any way to change this?
Thanks

Yup, you can change to swipe from bottom right to top left.
kidding... try using the search function next time instead of starting a new thread.

Thanks for the link.
I'm actually looking to replace the lock screen, not remove it completely.
I know 2 products that do this lockbot and lock.
I'd like to get users opinion on both, whether they work well on the X10 or if there is any better option.

[Q] Force-Disable Rotation-Lock from lockscreen?

Ok... So, is there anyway to force rotation-lock to turn off on a Nexus 7 with Android 4.2.2?
Reason: I cracked my screen from the bottom left of the screen to just shy of the top right corner. The lower section, below the crack, is not responsive to touch... and the dots I need (I use the pattern pass) are on this side because I can't flip the tablet.
How This Happened: I turned on rotation lock with the tablet upside down to keep it there... But then my Nexus 7 decided to restart randomly and keep rotation-lock on but coming back in the default orientation, aka the wrong way that I need it to be.
So, can anyone help?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Edit 1
40 people, no help...
Well, if anyone knows how to:
a.) bypass a pattern lock
b.) backup a Nexus 7 without a pass
c.) Just plan force the rotation-lock off
You should be able to reset lock pattern, as if you forgot it, supposed you know your google account password.
Then you can draw a new pattern not using the bottom dots.
What mttca said.
Probably the easiest way. Just put in the incorrect password enough and I think a "forgot password?" dialogue or something like that pops up and it asks you to manually sign into your Google account you have associated with the Nexus 7. It should then have you reset your password or something like that.

Did Moto fix the Lollipop unlock screen?

XDA brethren -
As you know, when Android L was first released Google added a "feature" that showed notifications on the unlock screen of your phone. This feature was controversial because it added an extra step to unlocking your phone. Even if you turned off the notifications feature you were still required to swipe up once to remove this screen before you got to the screen where you could input your pattern to unlock the phone. I am one of the many who detested this extra step and who downgraded or rommed their phones to remove it.
Did Motorola remove the extra unlock step in its stock ROM for the Moto X Play? Sorry to ask such a basic question, but I don't have physical access to the phone and will have to order it if I buy it. The extra swipe up is a deal breaker for me that I would prefer not finding out about the hard (and expensive!) way.
Cheers,
EJ

It's still there.
If you have pin unlock and unlock the phone with the button on the right. You will have to first swipe up and then input the code.
However, if you interact with the active display feature of Moto by swiping down, you will go directly to pin input screen.

Home Page?

I got a Droid Turbo last month and I love it for everything except one thing. It always opens to my phone page and I have to back out of it to do anything else. This is a real issue when I am trying to get to my home page real quick.
How can I get the phone to open to my home page?
By chance are you just using the swipe lock screen?

Swipe up not to the right.
Thanks - that worked.
Swipe left gets you right to the camera also...

NST - cannot activate Nook via WFi?

Hello,
Today I installed "[NST/NSTG][ROM] Tweaked Modded ROM Final [RETIRED][Jun23-2015]"
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2651053
But when I try to acivate my ereader I get error - Network Problem. I tried on my home WiFi and I made mobile hotspot from my phone - so I`m sure that network is fine. Did anyone of you know how to activate nook today? Did B&N close his servers, so it is not possible now? Or should I use any of cheat to do not activate ereader and avoid battery drop?
Edit: I tried again, I get B - AD1133 error

Is this a UK/Eur NST?
Yes, it Nook from UK. Support on FB gave me only this tip. I`m still afraid of battery drop.
Hi! There's no longer an option to sign-in /register to a NOOK UK device. You can bypass by following these instructions. If it doesn't work the first time, keep trying. ^RX
1. Turn on your NOOK
2. At the welcome screen hold down the button on the top right (page turn button) and at the same time slide your finger across the top of the screen from left to right
3. You should now see a Factory link on the top left of the screen, press this link
4. On the factory screen hold down the same button (top right) and at the same time tap the bottom right of the screen
5. You should now see a Skip Oobe link on the bottom right, press this link

Here is what you need: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41694061&postcount=3
I don't know what effect the nodded ROM might have, but you cannot register on UK servers because they don't exist any more. So change to US version and then try again.
