I want an AOD with a large clock and calendar events - Samsung Galaxy S10e Themes, Apps, and Mods

As far as I've been able to find, there is only one AOD choice that shows calendar events. For some reason it displays the time in a rather small font. I'd like to find one that shows calendar events and a nice, big clock. Any suggestions?

Glance (it's not free, but there's a low cost option with lotsa customizations).

Good Lock family of apps, Clockface.
Choose style and color of the AOD clock.

Cryptowake is the most advanced AOD over playstore. Has many widgets and completely customizable. One important advantage, this is the only AOD compatible with almost any Android device. You'll find it amazing..

Viewing appointments X days henceforth- today screen?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone knew if there is a way to view appointments from a certain amounts of days from the current on the today screen.
I.e. I would like to view all appointments on the today screen that are due in the next three days all at once for example.
Thanks.
In the Today options, select Calendar and press the Options button. Select 'Show Upcoming appointments' instead of the default 'Show next Appointment'.
A better alternative would be to install the Calendar+ FREE today plug-in. This allows many customisations like font color, number of days to display, etc. Here's the link to download it: http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=108
Unless you want to go for the commercial Pocket Breeze of course!
Nice one KTA- Calendar plus is a handy plugin- just what I needed.
Thanks.
Hi sh500,
as an alternative, have a look at tAgenda. I also used Calendar+ for quite some time, but after trying tAgenda, I deinstalled Calendar+.
In my opinion, tAgenda is much more comfortable because it's much more customisable and has more options (Layout, colors, style, shows appointments and todos, and so on).
HTH,
BGK
BGK,
I've downloaded tAgenda- will see if it benefits me over Calendar+

scrolling the tiny calendar appointment window

This is one that I'd really like to see a fix for. It was in WP5 and now in WP6. When I click on a specific appointment from the calendar, it brings up a nice full screen, except the appointment only shows wrapped over 2 lines. If the appointment is longer than that it doesn't even give me a clue until I tap on the words, then it shows a vertical scroll bar.
But why? There is so much room there, how come it doesn't show as much as it can on the screen? Is there any way to increase the 2 lines default?
Thank you for any ideas.

Droid X Widget

Hi,
I saw a video from Droid X were was shown the ability to resize widget’s,
i think that’s very cool.
Do you think It’s possible to port the widgets and the ability to resize for magic? or even the whole rom to magic since it seems very simple and very vanilla like?
Thanks....
If you use ADW launcher, you can do that
Resize
how do i resize the widgets with ADW.launcher? what widgets is possible to resize?
Thanks
This has nothing to do with developing roms.
I'm moving to General.
Resize
Sorry my mistake...

When you add a widget (it could be any widget) a popup will appear with the default dimensions and give you an option to change them. I guess it is "cool" but it purely practical terms it's kinda pointless.
-First if you stretch or shrink a widget without keeping it's aspect ratio it will look awful
-If you stretch a widget all the graphics will look horrid because they aren't are still at a lower resolution just stretch
-If you shrink a widget any text becomes unreadable, this isn't a problem on high resolution WVGA devices but it is on the Magic.
It's possible, but there's a reason it isn't officially supported.
how do u resize it?

Thats way i’ve liked what i saw in the video (sorry but i cant find it now) the example was the calendar, the widget change the organization it self. Its like HTC Calendar Widget, that have the grid, the bar and a event list, but there you can change just by resize, it’s not a simple stretch... if i find the video i’ll post it

Well then you're not resizing, just choosing a different widget in itself.

Looking for a 2x1 flip clock widget

Hello,
As I'm reorganizing my main home screen (HTC Desire), I find that the original HTC 4x2 takes up too much space especially because I don't care about the weather part of it.
I do like the "flip clock" design though.
I have looked around for an alternative and have found the following solutions:
BeautifulWidget small home widget
This looks nice, especially with the right skin, but it's still a 4x1 widget and the clock itself is not centered even when hiding the weather part of it.
Is it possible at all to have the clock centered?
Digital World Clock widget
This one is a 2x1 widget without weather, which means I can center it at the top of the screen. Unfortunately the date display is bogus on a French locale phone, it does not respect the date format(day month year) and the name of the day of the week (Thursday) gets displayed as a number (5)
I have contacted the author about that, I'll see if he replies.
In the mean time, would you have any other suggestions for this?
Regards
Olivier
Hey,
You could try "Retro Clock Widget", free in the market. Has clock and date functions in separate 2x1 widgets. Not sure if it solves your date issues though.
Good luck.
Thanks, I did see that one as well but the date is not on the same widget as the time so it's not fitting quite well with what I'm looking for.
I sure looks nice though.

Thanks, but I could not find a way to configure it as a 2x1 widget without weather
Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I use Flip Clock Large (used to be in the market, isn't any more, but you can still find the APK on the web) It's very similar to the original HTC Clock, but without the weather.
I had awesome 2x1 flip clock widget that is part of cMiui ROM, but can't find it anywhere as a standalone widget... please help.
Here is an image of it:

I tried that one, but it doesn't flip when unlocking, to show how many minutes has passed... this is something I really liked on cMiui flip clock widget and can't find it anywhere. It's driving me nuts
This looks like MIUI flip cloc widget:

BUT it doesn't flip!!!
it is just a static clock widget

Froyo Calendar - No All-Day Event

All 2.2 roms I tested have the same trouble:
In Month View, calendar don't show all-day events !
I found no fix...
It does.
If a date is bolded but otherwise empty, it's an all dayer.
ok, but it's not very visual!
Why no color bar as other events ?
My guess is because it would obscure other events.

Google´s solution for that is not the best, I agree...
see here for a themed one, if this helpes: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=719285
I could check if it´s possible to change whole day events color only...
I tested this themed calendar, but only bold date.
No way to change background color. :s
