Hi After updating my phone to Android 11, UI3.
last week I did the update and now I have had 3 screen freezes. turns on, volume responds, long press power ok, but it just doesn't respond to touch.
hard reboot fixes it.
it happens with lockscreen and without lockscreen (last app used). anyone had this issue.?
Regardless of software issue or hardware, this is not acceptable samsung
no root, no nothing here.

My nexus 4 doesn't respond to power buttons at time. Sometimes it works flawlessly. Sometimes it doesn't. I'm on stock android 4.3 rooted only.
I don't know whether this is hardware or software problem. Can anyone name any app that enables waking up nexus 4 using volume button?
P.s I did a full reset too.

I think I have the same issue after the latest minor OTA update the week before.
The 1/4 chance that screen turns on after power button pressed about 2 seconds longer than normal.
I flashed a customer ROM based on CM10, Same issue !
I rooted my i9505 when it was 4.3, but when the 4.4.2 update came out, I lost the root, and I left this way, unrooted...
But last friday my phone asked me to make a new software update, and I made it, it says now that it's still with 4.4.2, but the kernel and the android are from May 16...
And after this update, my phone is restarting randomly, I alreadly cleared the cache, no difference, still restarting about 5 times a day...
Other thing I noticed, is that I had the phone to ask the pattern, only 30 secs after I lock the screen, but now, after the update, no matter if I choose 5sec or 5 mins, it'll ask the pattern right after I lock the screen... (and no, the 'lock instantly with power button' is not marked)
Is anyone having the same problem? Does anyone know how to fix?

I have an issue regarding my OP2 which is original Oxygen OS 2.0.0 (I have not updated it considering several persons mentionned heavier battery drain after update and I just love the amount of battery life I got so far).
My issue is that, whenever I unlock the phone after leaving it locked for more than 5 seconds, 9 times out of 10, my first click on the home button (software or hardware, the same issue happens) is unresponsive.
I can see the button being touched (grey circle around it) but it does not do anything else than that.
This is really annoying as each time I unlock my phone and go into an app, I have to press the home button twice to leave this app.
This bug only occures on the first press, after that, until next unlock, button is fully responsive.
Does anyone know what it might be linked to?

Same issue. I'm on rooted oxygen 2.2.0. First press on home button after an unlock does nothing.
Update: So today at work it decided to behave seemingly out of the blue.

So I have a problem with my Note 4 that I just cannot figure out this time around. I found that the lock screen was turning itself on even when left alone on a table and on top of that the home button is not working. After I installed a security update I had put off installing the home button worked again for about 10 minutes or so. I figured it was a software problem so opted to factory reset the device. No problem getting into the recovery menu by holding power and volume up.
Once that was done though the problem persisted. I'm inclined to think it's hardware but I figured before I throw down money on parts I'd get a second opinion just in case I'm missing something.
It's a N910-P running 6.0.1 and April's security update. Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

My device is doing exactly the same thing all of a sudden... Seeing a few other threads with similar issues... I'm guessing a Google Play Services update, as the play store icon changed just about when it happened...
I have a Mediapad M3 Lite (10), and today I performed the recommended upgrade to Emui 5.1.2 (as recommended by the tablet). Now I have a tablet with number: BAH-W09C100B256
However, sensitivity is crazy now. Swiping seems to 'click' constantly. I becomes completely unusable. Anyone else having these issues? (It was performing very well under 5.1 (.1? I don't know what the previous version was)
What should I do next? Can I return to Emui 5.1?
I did the same update, but I don't have your issue, nevertheless it's the second time the tablet reboots by itself (never done before). Probably we should proceed with a factory reset and to see if the problems persist. Otherwise we should find a tutorial to do the downgrade.
Hi. I also installed the update to BAH-W09C100B256 Emui 5.1.2. I think I might get the sensitivity problem occasionally, but often. However, since the update my tablet takes about 4 minutes to boot up, and then the UI is completely unresponsive for another minute or so. Eventually I get a pop-up saying "Huawei Home has stopped responding. Close app or wait?" I close the app, the background goes black, but the UI starts to work again. Anyone else get this?
Is there a way to go back to previous update level?
Are there alternative ROMs for this device? Lineage or something?
