LG g8x Earphones issues - LG G8X ThinQ Real Life Review

Does anybody have issue with earphones comes with LG g8x ? Because my earphone has one side over sound, high voice than the other one like(60-40) at full sound with hifi quad dac

It happens because of ear wax, just try to remove the cover of the eartip, and remove the earwax from it by alcohol. Don't apply alcohol directly to earbud. Remove the cover first then clean it by alcohol.

Bad sound via 3.5 mm Jack!!

Hi, I have been using Galaxy S2 for two months now. What bugs me is I cant use any other headphones with Galaxy S2.
When I connect other headphone or even my creative 2.1 speaker there is a major loss id sound volume and fidelity. its like a few bands have been wiped clean, some times vocals are prominent and other times the music or both are diminished.
I noticed that the galaxy 2 headphone has a visually different connector (splits position) than most of the 3.5mm pins. Is that the reason for poor output to my speakers and other headphone.
Is there any converter pin I can buy to fix this?
I use four standard non Samsung headphones with no problems .
You pushing the connector in.
jje
If your phone is in a gel skin or a case maybe the connector for the other headphones doesn't fit correctly and can't be pushed all the way down? When I plug my SGS2 into my car I have to remove it from the case because I can't push the 3.5mm jack in all the way.
If you've checked that already, or aren't using a case, the only other thing I can think of is the jack is faulty or there is dust in it. Try blowing in it or rapidly inserting and removing the headphone jack a few times? I use skullcandy earbuds and connect it to my car stereo and there is no issue for me.
^ Yeah. What he said.
You need to dare and push the 3.5 mm connector further in. Don't worry its not going to break.

Weard Sound when Headphones comnected

When I plug in my headphones, I have this silent but weard Sound in the background. Maybe you can help me, is my headphone Jack defect?
First of all try to clean the dirt that might be inside the jack with a thin wire
It could be your noise cancelling that's working

Does the audio jack connector still waterproof when I connect a headphone underwater?

Does the audio jack connector still waterproof when I connect a headphone to it and put it underwater?
I want to buy this if it can work: Uwater T3 Waterproof Action Earphones
It is water proof when nothing connected. If we think logically, it's hard to be water permeable when audio jack full of 3.5 mm stick. Just what I thought However I don't prefer Uwater T3 Waterproof Action Earphones because of bad comments about product. Actually I can't advice any earphone for underwater
Thanks.

Using headphone while using extended battery case(back cover removed)

Has anyone noticed that the metal connector on the backcover(the two metal pin on the volume rocker side) is responsible for the phone to recognize if it's headphone or aux?
Anyway, I'm using a extended battery case and there's no metal connector on the back cover. And the phone would only recognize aux mode when I plugged in my headphone, which for some reason only have sound on the left channel. (You can try plug in the headphone and remove the back cover and it would turn off the right channel.)
I'm using a f800k btw. And my phone is rooted and modded to have high impedence always on.
Can someone explain this and Is there a software fix for this?
Many thanks

How to repair damaged headphone jack?

After having pulled out my headphones cable a little too vigorously, I am facing the problem that no matter which headphone I insert, the sound gets thin and disturbed. Still stereo, but really not good. The only thing I can do is slightly push the plug on the right side to the left, causing the inside part to be pushed to the right, which gives full quality sound again, but will return to bad sound once I stop pushing. So I assume some pin is bent inside the jack. Is there any way to repair this, or any idea what to do except buying bt headsets or a new phone?
Thank you for all helpful suggestions
Check if you don't have lint or some dirt in the headphone jack - I use thin sawing needle to dig out accumulated dirt from headphone jack and USB port every few weeks/months. If it won't help, you should be able to carefully bend the inside pin with the same tool. Strong flashlight will help to visually check the situation
As a last resort, you can buy the part from aliexpress, its like 3 dollars.
Take it to service center they'll do everything fr you
