Have you already found this thread:
How to root Samsung Galaxy X Cover 4s Enterprise Edition (SM-G398F)
Hey there, is there a way to root a Samsung Galaxy X Cover 4s (SM-G398F)? The phone is from June 2019 and runs Android 9.0. I haven't found anything on the forum. Here's a link to the Samsung website...
forum.xda-developers.com
Search for posts of Diamonds8 (e g. post #31).
Maybe it helps to root and then oem unlock.

Hi Joan,
We require a specialized tool to root this device as it does not have a micro SD card which is part of the exploit program on pretty much every rooting app.
If you head over to the 10.1v dev discussion you will be able to read about how far we have gotten ATM.
"Chainfire" is a dev who says he will be working on it but he hasn't got his yet so might have to wait a week for much more information.
Anyway back on subject ATM there is no root tool developed but we have got the boot loader unlocked and ADB + Fasboot drivers working.
Expect to see roms emerge by the end of the month but being a google experience device the need for these roms will mainly be root access, Busy box ect...
Regards,
Scott
PS: If were lucky we might also get the Browser script like the p1000 did so the device will stop defaulting to mobile site

Samsung S5 Sim Unlock

Hello,
why is it not possible to way to sim unlock the Samsung S5 G900f ?
I readed many threads and i found out that there is no option exept paying for my phone AGAIN.
I am verry furious about it and i just wanted to ask is there no developer or somebody who knows android from the bottom to the top who could solve that problem ?
If i would be a developer i would work on that problem till it is solve but until i know evreything about android we probably would have Galaxy S25 ...
Hope for getting an answere asap

Hey,
Have you tried an unlock code provider? It's way cheaper than paying for your phone again, like you said.

Thats what i meant by paying again for my device.
If you unlocked it once, it should still be unlocked, flashing ROMs shouldn't make any difference to the SIM unlock status

I Need Help: Need to Bypass Samsung Activation Lock

Hello. I bought a S5 from Ebay for Boost Mobile. Problem is that it has the Samsung Activation Lock still on. Ive done the searches all over the net and have come across URL="/watch?v=EaN13PiQbe0 ====Video"]/watch?v=EaN13PiQbe0 ====Video. I understand most of it but I can't find a workaround for the "findmymobile.samsung.com" part. Is there a way to do it on a S5. Don't Chastise Me. Im Not Nixon. I am not a crook. I paid for a phone with a clean ESN(I checked) and dont want to be stuck with a paperweight. Thanks in advance.
Searching for the S5 tutorial would have been better than the S6 ones lol

And flashing a KitKat ROM from sammobile first with ODIN works if you know the samsung account (If you locked yourself out of your own phone) for future reference
Sorry

Samsung Galaxy S8 G950U - FRP locked

Hi. I purchased a preowned Samsung Galaxy S8 and I am not able to get it running. The phone has factory reset protection and it asks me for owners google account. The seller does not want to provide me with that info because of privacy issues. He said that he deactivated that option through google account, but it did not help. I've tried all the methods that I found on YouTube and through google but none of them seem to work. - the "two finger" method turns on voice assistance but does not enter Tapatalk menu
- the setting method does not work wither because I do not have the "help & feedback" menu
- others like installing SideSync on PC and connecting phone through usb, nor any other that I found online did work
I also tried to call Samsung support but they are asking $70 for unlocking and I would need a proof of purchase with IMEI address, but the seller did not include IMEI, anyways its to expensive.
I went to some phone repair stores but they were asking from proof of purchase from Samsung authorized store, they did not accept eBay...
It's an unlocked T-Mobile version Samsung Galaxy S8 SM-G950U running android 8.0.0.
This is whats the Android Recovery menu showing - 8.0.0/R16NW/G950USQU5CRK1
Is there any new/working way to unlock this brick?

have the previous owner call google. they can track the IMEI and verify the previous owners credentials allowing them to release the FRP lock and making you the full complete owner now

discussing FRP unlock methods outside of googles prescribed methods are against XDA rules. Please refrain from discussing things of that nature.

Canadian Galaxy S8 NO OEM UNLOCK!!

First: Before making this thread, i looked at many post here, and its seems trough trial and error that what worked for other people with US version of the phone dont work for mine. SO with that in mind, i own my phone for 3 years now, its a canadian version of the galaxy s8, which is SM-G950W. The option for "OEM UNLOCK" dont show in dev option. I looked on the internet, and the solution seems to be about the 7 days blabla... found it was dumb since i have the phone for 3 years, but i gave it a shot, and it did nothing... my goal is to root my device any help about oem unlock OR a way to root it without oem unlock (which is impossible in my mind with a locked bootloader) would be very appreciate! thanks a lot.

No us or Canadian model have OEM unlock. There is no bootloader unlock. That's that no way around there is a system only root method if you look up extreme syndicate
