Is it possible to flash a different variant for my device? For example, my device is SM-T561, and my desired firmware is SM-T560NU, is it possible? - Samsung Galaxy Tab E Questions & Answers

Hello!! I am a person who understands few terms in Advanced Android World, and I came here to learn and know more for the sake of my curiosities. Please do help and teach me to enlighten my understanding. Thank You.
My question is; Is it possible or is there any way to flash a different stock firmware variant for my device? Specifically, my device is SM-T561, which is on Android 4.4.4 (KitKat), and it is very unsupported. And I would like to flash the Stock Firmware of SM-T560NU because it is on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat). The Android Versions differ a lot, not to mention their gap, some apps I need aren't available on Android 4.4.4, that is why I want to flash SM-T560NU.
(Out-of-Topic-Information: Now I am currently on ViperOS v5.1, I like it, I do, but I still want some Samsung Apps on my device, like the Stock Samsung Keyboard, Touchwiz, and more. But these apps can't be installed on this OS, and that is xo xad. And so, yes, I used Custom OS to acquire what I partially desire, but not what I really need. I agree to the fact that Custom OS are good especially for those who loved customizing the device and/or optimizing the performance.)
Is there a way, or a tool to flash a different stock firmware variant for my device? If there is a way or a tool, please tell me. I really want to flash SM-T560NU to my SM-T561 despite their differences, perhaps there is a way. I really need and want to experience the Stock Samsung firmware with Android 7.1.1. for Galaxy Tab E. TY.

No. Sm T560NU runs on snaprdgon processor, and sm t561 has a spreadtrum processor
Try installing magisk module xml pack and then install Samsung apps

Which stable but speedy and debloated ROM for gf?

Hello everyone,
I personally never owned a Samsung device (always Nexus and mostly with Paranoid Android or Dirty Unicorns ROM) but my girlfriend has one and she defeniately needs it to be flashed :good:
As I am completely new to Samsung devices, I have no idea about all the developers and different ROMs that are out there for the Samsung Note 4 (Snapdragon).
I don't have much time to try around with different ROMs as it isn't my phone.
I need one that is good, stable, fast (and also supports the stylus / samsung apps). So I can flash it quickly and have a happy girlfriend
So that is the reason I an asking in the first place. Else I would just flash around and keep trying until I find the best fit.
I saw CM is officially supporting the Note 4. So that one might be a good solution. But does it have all those stylus samsung stuff?
Any other ROMs I should check out?
Do I need to flash a new radio?
Thanks in advance and sorry for posting another "which ROM" thread. But I can't really test around to find out on my own as it is not my device that I am going to improve !
If n910g, this is highly recommended, although you have to disable or uninstall later all apps that you don't want if you want a debloated rom.

It is N910F.
The link you provided is simply stock android MM?
Yes stock MM, stock is in my experience the most stable and bug free rom build. But the link is for n910g unfortunately.
Stock ROM, and then debloat yourself. Quite honestly speaking, and no offence to anyone, there are no good ROMs available for Note 4. In fact I myself might have not got the phone if I realised the development section is like this. And I am not interested in ported ROMs, so even though there are many available I won't go that way, and I am too dumb to make a ROM for myself, so stock ROM it is.
I agree, stock rom rooted and debloat it, and apply msm tweaks. If you want, xposed as well.

You must flash samsung based rom to have all soen features and samsung apps. I reconnemed kurama rom which in using , its battery friendly, fast and stock based. If you going to flash kurama rom you must flash modem and bootloader for the rom to boot up (only can be flashed from pc with odin)

Searching Samsung Galaxy Core Prime [SM-G361F] ROM Android 6.0.

Hi guys! I'm searching android 6.1 ROM for my Galaxy Core Prime [SM-G361F]. You know where I can find it?
Thanks.
Nope. At the moment, there's no Marshmallow ROM (custom or official) for G361F.
Yeah we have to wait.
Did someone start to make them already?
This would be great, Marshmallow looks better than the cancerous (my opinion) Lollipop firmware, but I think that actually no developer want to really work on this model. Bringing root and a recovery was the minimum, then to go further you can install XPosed for custom builds but creating custom or adapting stock ROMs? Nah.

There is no such thing as "best ROM", regardless of whatever device or ROM is in question.
It's a matter of choice, all I can say is keep trying the different ROMs and/or kernels that are available for your device until you find one that fits your needs and serves your purposes, or at least, a ROM that gets as close to what you want/need as you can get out of what is available for your device.
It doesn't really do any good to ask others about what ROM to use, all they can do is tell you the experience they had with "this" or "that" ROM, but that doesn't help you because you and they may not have the same things installed. The additional apps and mods that you or they have installed on your devices after installing the ROM effect how the device performs, you or they might have other things installed along with the ROM that give you different results than they get, even though you both are using the same ROM.
It's like looking for a new car, the car that someone else likes or works well for them, might not be the car that works for your needs or you may not even like the car that they like at all.

stock rom suggestion aosp limits

Hello
I have a v20 on the way, ls997, can't wait. I'm a big fan of the electronic that lg put in this phone. The ois, laser pdaf, quad dac etc and want very much to use these. This means I need stock rom. Is this still correct? All CM/Lineage whatever rom users are missing out on the quad dac?? Slow autofocus?
It looks like the only Sprint variant stock custom Rom is classicrom and that stopped development t at 7.0 android.
Are there other custom roms that will allow use of all the phone's electronics as God intended?
Rooted 7.1 (or 8 when ready) v20 is my goal (daydream!). Maybe need to stay in official updates?
Thank you kindly for your suggestions, I am trying to explore the v20 landscape and f learn what's possible. Thanks again for your help!

SM-G360T1 Roms

I’ve been trying to find a good, custom rom that runs 7.1.1 or 8.0.1 but I can’t find any. I also don’t have the knowledge or experience to build my own ROM. Can anyone build one or if there is one, send a link to me? I don’t like the custom roms that are currently on xda because they are using the stock touchwiz and I like a fresh android experience.

I'm in the same boat as you; I also really hate "TouchWiz" and other heavily modified stock ROM's. But as much as we really want a freshly baked AOSP ROM for this device I don't really see any devs interested in building for this device since 2015/2016 -- it's pretty much a goner now, probably long forgotten. The people with all these other Core Prime variants (G360H, G360F, etc) must be really lucky having some enthusiastic devs building for them, haha.
My Core Prime is broken now so I guess it's time for an upgrade, and that upgrade has to be a device with at least some level of good AOSP ROM support ✌?
