A510F not registered issue after unrooting - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Hi
I had a working & rooted (Magisk) Device and tried to fix a problem with an App, requiring unrooted device.
I disabled OEM unlock accidently, so I was captured in FRP lock after I had to reboot the A5.
I replaced my USB Flex Module, as device could not communicate with PC via USB anymore (this issue is definitively fixed).
I tried to do a emergency flashing with Samsung's Smart Switch, but I didn't work, as my device was not recognized/supported by Smart Switch.
I tried to flash an old Firmware (known to be working before) with ODIN, resulting in a Rev. error.
I tried some other Firmwares and accidently checked "NAND Erase", so I ended up with a soft bricked device. Flashing recent Stock Firmware didn't change anything.
I managed to download a weird 4-files Firmware (BL, AP, CP, CSC) version and a appropriate PIT file and flashed this via ODIN, so I finally got a bootable device back.
That enabled me to remove OEM lock and activate USB Debug.
Next I was flashing TWRP and restoring a recent backup from SD card. Everything looked fine but I couldn't make a call due to phone didn't register in network (IMEI and S/N are shown in Status menue and look good).
I flashed 2 Stock ROMs (A510FXXS8CTI7 & A510FOXA8CSF3) to get a working GSM network. -> no change
I installed "Network Cell Info Lite" app to validate radio is working correctly -> positive.
Anything else I can try?

Is there any kind of logfile, where I can read what happens during GSM network registering?

[Q] Tab won't boot up after flashing with Odin

Hi,
did a flash of the JM4 firmware (P1000DXJM4_P1000DXJM2_P1000OLBJM1) using Odin (v1.7). Flashing of the firmware works fine and the upload was completed. However, the GTab did not reset automatically (i saw that the screen went blank for a second and then once again the downloading screen is shown). After i unplug the USB and then manually rebooted it, it is stuck at the Samsumg screen and won't proceed further.
Is there something that i've done wrong? i've placed a check on the "re-partition", "auto-reboot" and "F. reset time" on the Odin.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
Turn the tab OFF and reboot in recovery : Power button + Volume UP . It will finish loading the CSC files and it should then reboot fine.
P_
Thanks.
Think i've screwed up my Tab big time. After recovery, it still doesn't show the CSC and the PDA version. What is shown is the Phone version which is "XXJMA". That's not going to work for me as i'm from Asia.
i'm going to try and flash it again.
In the meantime, anybody can think of anything to help me out, i'll greatly appreciate it.
From the look of that rom name......
Congratulation!! You are most likely have Protected Boot Loader and SBL now ^^
As I recall when I flash my second TAB with that firmware i have the same problem and I solved it by flashing Roto's JME (the one that format your SD card too).
Hi all,
i've managed to solve this problem by doing a few mix and matching. Currently my version (*#44336#) is showing:-
PDA1000DXJM4
Phone1000ZHJL1
CSC:Unknown
i see i don't have a CSC. Does it matter? Also, my reader hub is not working. Its giving me "Service Unavailable (4002)" (im sure i have internet connection, so connection problem is out).
Now the reason why i need to mix and match or update in the first place is this: my old version of JK2 firmware has a problem of not being able to connect to my exchange server using the native email client. So i did an upgrade using Odin. This somehow screwed up my versioning and everything else.
Thanks.

Soft Bricked (SM-G530W)

I was trying to upate the SUBinary and it told me to reboot. As soon as I did I get a message saying "Custom Binary Blocked by FRP" and a red text saying "Secure Fail : Kernal" help me.
It has something to do with your Google account being logged into the phone.. samsung can send signal to reset it but they won't if it's been rooted etc still trying to make sure reflash omg the phone with original rom would make it worse or not. Or maybe just reflash in the kernal. I'm on t mobile but can only find original rom on t mobile same network but we will see. I'm on my fiance a accident messaging from her phone lol or maybe just reflash the kernal the whole problem for me is I don't have a computer to try to reflash from what someone told me I may try to reflash with odin 3.90 with a tar file to the exact model number
Solution
I had the exact same problem as you but i found a fix
i know this is a very late response but who knows maybe some people will run into it
First of all you will need
-odin3
-samsung usb drivers
-g530w tar md5 file find yours here (im telus variant but bell worked for me)

sorry for super messy post i rarely post things i hope this saves you time
This is the best and quick fix for FRP Lock
...Just follow the link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/grand-prime/help/custom-binary-blocked-frp-t3266961/page3
Worked for my SM-G530W
I had the same problem, and i used Kies3 (not compatible with my phone anyway), but if you go on toolbar to "TOOLS", "Firmware Upgrade and initialisation", it asks you for your device model (for mine i typed SM-G530W, and then it asks you for device serial number (S/N) found under the battery by the IMEI number. After this, follow on screen prompts (Restart your device in Download mode/ PDA, connect USB cable, etc), and let the software download and install (factory rom); After your device restarts, you are good to go (sometimes if it gets stuck on booting, remove battery for few second and start again.) Now you have to go back and set up everything you want, including re-rooting your device... Good luck. (My device is Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530W Factory unlocked rom, Android 5.11.

S7 Stuck in Bootload / Updating

Hi all,
since one day i´m totally wrecked up with my SM-G935F. On Monday morning the display was frozen. I looked in some forums and used odin to flugh the newest version (7) to the phone. After clearing the cache it worked quite well for about 3 hours then freezed again. Since that i´ve tried so many options, all leading to nothing ;( I´m quite sure that there must be a solution and hope for your help.
The actual status is:
The phone shows the Galaxy S7 Edge screen, then the "Installing system update". This crashed every time (no command) and then a black screen is shown with some information in the upper half:
No Support SINGLE-SKE
Supported API:3
# Manual Mode #
-- Appling Multi CSC --
Applied the CSC-code: DBT
Successfully applied multi-CSC
Successfully verify for dmverity hast tree
Sometimes after waiting it jumps to the "bootloader". The normal way with the volume up + power+ home is not working at the moment or i´m doing something wrong.
I´ve tried a few fixes:
-> downloaded the newest Firmware, an older version and the oldest one from sammobile and install via odin
Normal install in AP via Odin stuck an recovery.imgI renamed the file without md5, open it and extracted the files. From there i tried to single upload them (boot, system and recovery) It freezes at system...
-> flash home file first with odin
it stucks on RQT Close and don´t finish
-> install new firmware via SD Card
frp lock denied the installation. Get error: E: signature verification failed
-> samsung smart switch and kies
both not working. I´m not even able to make the software initializing because it tells me that my phone (SM-G935F) is not supported... WTF....
-> install CWM recovery via adb
I´ve tried to install an other revocery tool without success. I tried the ways via Odin and adb, both collapsing with the error of activated frp lock
-> TWRP recovery via adb
Same like CWM. The Binary Upload is denied trough frp-lock
-> Whipe cache from fastboot
I whiped the cache several times without anything changing
-> factory reset from fastboot
It says that factory reset was successful but data could not be wiped. It also changes nothing....
From my nooby perspective i would:
-> unlock the frp
-> install custom recovery
-> unlock signature validation
-> install via adb or sd card the newest Firmware
-> lucky guy
I´m really depressed/sad right now and have no idea what to do next. I spoke with samsung service and they told me to send them the phone so they can repair it. I hope that this is not ne final solution...
If there is any possibility to get the phone back to factory reset or any other working system i would be soo glad.
sorry for the bad english, it´s not my mother tongue
Thanks in advance and beste regards
Sebastian
LOL, didint read all but the part where the phone freeze after few hours on MM or even on clean Nougat firmware its a big sign that the problem is with hardware, just send the phone to Samsung so they could fix it and move on

I actually did. From my perspective there was no other way so i send it in. Really unhappy with this solution but i hope that Samsung Support will repair it. Maybe i was too naive with the android phone. i thought that i where able to totally delete and reinstall the system like i do with my computer. Now i will look for a good backup solution for the future ;D
Thanks in advance
I think you messed up your phone somehow... certain steps you described do worry me what you might have done.
Did you root/unlock your phone before? If yes, Samsung will happily return your S7 without even touching it.
Kies & Smart Switch do not work on rooted phones. Exception: Emergency Software Recovery and Initialization
Did you try flashing all four files (BL, AP, CP, CSC not HOME_CSC) in Odin at once? Did you try another PC / USB port?

i9502 (S4 duos) enable CP logging / enable diag mode

Hello,
I barely post anything as there is a huge amount of documentation on this forum, but I am really stuck at this and have no clue how to solve it.
I have two i9502 phones:
- one with good IMEIs and thus, working GSM, but the sensors are not working (hardware failure - sensorhub test fail + all sensors from the *#0*# menu are dead)
- one with good sensors, but one of the IMEI is null, thus GSM is not working
I am tying to clone the one with good IMEIs over the one with bad IMEIs. I have previously done this with success, but for the S4 Active model (i9525).
To do this, I need to use QPST or EFS Professional (awesome software btw) with the phone running in diag mode.
When I enable "DM+Modem+ADB" from the *#0808# menu I get "USB device not recognized" on my PC, a problem usually resolved by "Enable CP logging" from the original recovery.
The problem with this model is that "Enable CP logging" option is missing from the recovery.
Also, codes like ##DMMODE# or ##DIAG# have no effect and there is no relevant option in the service menu (*#0011#) or diag config menu (*#9090#).
Things I've tried so far:
- directly backup/restore EFS partitions using TWRP or EFS Professional
result: fail, I had both IMEIs null.
reason: Encrypted File System partitions are encrypted using the phone's certificate/key. This means the EFS backup only makes sense for the original phone.
- downgrade to android 4.4.2
result: fail, recovery menus and secret menu codes behave exactly the same.
- flash a recovery from i9500 to get the "enable CP logging"
result: fail: when I enable the option, the phone restarts and PC still not recognizes the device. This was the closest I ever got to solve this.
- downgrade to android 4.3
result: fail, cannot flash, odin gives error and the phone says something like "firmware revision 2, phone revision 3" (incompatible hardware revisions?)
Does anyone know how to enable diag mode for this model?
Important to mention that I do not have any kind of service box.
Things I am thinking of trying:
- flash MIUI and see from there. I doubt a ported rom could do anything about this.
- cook android 4.3 using dsixda's Android Kitchen, and flash using a custom recovery. I doubt this will work also. Expecting a brick
Thanks.
You ever figure out how to do this?

S6 lite malfunctioned and now does nothing.

History:
I have a samsung tab S6 lite LTE version. The tablet freezed out of nowhere when I was working and restarted but stuck in bootloader. After a while, and after removing the sd card, the tablet functioned properly. The tablet had more 80% of battery charge.
I thought the new update might fix the issue. I installed the update. it restarted and stuck in bootloader again. Power and Volume Down buttons will restart the tab, but it never went past the bootloop.
Left it for 12 hours without charging, and then the tablet went into recovery mode. I wiped the cache and when figuring out the other options in recovery it switched off and did nothing. When connected to a charger, a circle with lighting icon showed up. No combination of buttons worked.
Took it to the service center, and was told the motherboard needs to be replaced. I knew it was a software problem so I came home without replacing the motherboard.
I put the tablet on charge for a while and pressed volume up and down button and connected it to the computer. The tablet went into download mode. I immediately downloaded Odin and stock firmware and tried to flash only the BL file to the tablet. It failed few times, maybe because of faulty cable. I used another working cable and tried to flash the full firmware and the tablet disconnected again from the pc.
But now the tablet showed "an error occured while updating and use smart switch for emergency recovery". Smart switch on pc did not detect the tablet, but Odin did. The device manager detected the device as samsung mobile usb composite device. I used a new usb cable and flashed the stock firmware using Odin. The process was success but the tablet died.
It does nothing when connected to a charger or pc. No display and no buttons worked.
I opened the tablet by removing the display, and disconnected the battery physically. But nothing happened.
I tried several times to connect to pc, and for once it was detected by the pc.
This time I flashed the stock firmware using odin with nand erase and repartition. extracted the pit from csc file and added it to Odin.
The flash was a success but the tablet remains unresponsive. I checked the display to see if I had cracked or damaged it while opening, but it is good.
Now Sometimes, the tablet gets detected by pc as samsung mobile usb composite device and I could even flash the firmware with success. But the tablet displays nothing and is unresponsive.
Can Anybody advice What I can do now?
PS. I used the correct firmware meant for s6 lite LTE version every time I flashed.
Disconnect devices from PC USB port & uninstall official Samsung USB drivers. Reboot & re-install drivers. Connect to another USB port preferably at the rear PC.
Flashed latest Android 10 instead of the latest Android 11 stock firmware (AP *super.img.tar file ONLY) using Odin (I used official Odin3_v3.14.4) with Auto-Reboot, Nand Erase and Re-Partition. Input *.pit file. Flashing process might take 'years' but be patient until it ended & auto boot up successfully. Try another USB port if it failed. Therafter, flash the rest of stock WITHOUT Nand Erase & ONLY Re-Partition, Auto Reboot & F. Reset Time.
Once it successfully got flashed & auto reboot, wait patiently as it might also take a longer time than normal to boot up. Charge the device to optimal. Done!
Optional (Remove Knox Guard)
Connect to the internet. Login to your Google & Samsung account to update everything & reboot upon further updates. Thereafter, boot to Download Mode & flashed AP (Magisk Patched *boot.img, blank *vbmeta.img & patched *vbmeta_samsung.img) + BL (Blank *vbmeta.img) WITHOUT Nand Erase & Re-Partition. After successful boot up, reboot back to Download Mode & ensure there's no 'KG State' on the list before deleting('root delete' not ADB) Knox Guard or app named Payment Service as in Android 10.
Thanks. I will try.

By chance is it going to work for KG:Locked status device? I'm on F62, i bought this (second hand) few days ago from another city. Tapping on build number doesn't give any response, When i try to flash any firmware I'm getting response "All binaries are not allowed to be flashed" I'm pretty much confused what's happening here
