Samsung Galaxy Tab Liter S6 Lite question - Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Questions & Answers

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 6 Lite as soon as it came out - I Really like it & it does all I want - except for one thing. I have downloaded several images(50+ now) & when I open the Gallery they are there - until about 2 weeks later, some of my images are gone. If I am scrolling thru looking at my images sometimes I get a light grey back ground with a big white circle and an white exclamation point in the middle - I can still see the thumbnail but the image is gone. Samsung wasn't much help on this - any ideas?? This happens ALL of the time & I find it very annoying.

Don't panic, stock Gallery is trash especially samsung because it shows every freaking media on your storage (i think even hidden one too). For that weird image, that's just asset image from one of your app say like Minecraft. As for the image disappearing, it might due to .nomedia file which its function is to hide the folder content (sometimes music folder has this so delete that). How about using third party gallery like Simple Gallery or AI Gallery? Try browsing through.

Stock AOSP HC Wallpapers?

It seems that I cannot set the AOSP wallpapers on my galaxy tab. I like them very much, and the samsung ones are complete garbage. I am particularly miffed I cannot set them to the lock screen.
I tried a search and have come up empty, can someone point me in the right direction?
EDIT: I didn't look hard enough, go through Gallery
I ended up searching for the stock honeycomb wallpapers on google to download and copied them onto the tablet. To use them as lockscreen wallpaper, I went into to gallery app and set as>lockscreen
Also love them.
I notice under "wallpaper", it shows them as being in the gallery, but the only one that comes up when I click on it is the one I put there. However, I distinctly see the blades of grass as if it is in the folder.

Does flash video from the stock browser play in proper full screen? Or do they still have the bug that always displays the top notification bar?
Finally I can create appointments in Exchange Calendar marked as private

Don't know.
Doesn't do on YouTube atleast
Do you know when this will be available through Kies? Nordic.
I just got 2.3.4, but battery sucks, so I'm not happy. If I'll have to wait a long time, then I guess I'll have to learn to deal with Odin and rooting...
How's the Yellow Tint?
I don't know if it's me or what, but when I unlock my phone I see a flash image of my homescreen and then the lockscreen appears.
Happenning to someone else?

Yeah i got that too!!
Battery usage link under applications was always there.
i think the vibrate icon is NOT a bug, i think they changed that to!
because..
when you put your profile on Ringtone+ vibration, the vibrate icon appears right ?
now drag down the notification bar and put it on silent, you wil get an icon of a speaker with a \ stripe( a new silent mode icon?)
so i think they did this on purpose, as i have never seen the speaker icon appear when myh phone needed to be silent( not that i ever put it to silent, but i have never seen this icon!)
Grtz
Can someone upload the TwLancher.apk from this firmware please????

This has happened in 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 for me also. I think 2.3.5 was better..just in my case anyways. Could be that the phone is running a bit quicker

Ya, it does it on all stock builds I used so far.
Any improvements on the gradient colour banding with 2.3.5?

[Q] icon problem

Icon Problem,
iv tried rebooting it and tht doesnt fix it ,this icon problem only happens when more than 1 icon is linked to another :/
Apps i installed recently are:
.androids! live wallpaper
.blue skies free live wallpaper
.nexus revamped live wallpaper
.stickmount
.touchpal keyboard
.bsplayer
i also noticed something strange in my installed apps which i never actually installed and there is no uninstall option
Iv attached 3 screenshots, thanks in advance guys, its driving me mad, is there a custom rom which is exactly the same as stock jellybean but trimmed of all the rubbish :good:
I'm not really sure what your question is. The icons you see are exactly what everyone sees if you put 2 or more icons in a folder. If you don't want icons in folders, touch the folder, drag each icon out of the folder and long-press the empty folder to delete it. You can also name the folder if you want to keep it with a description. The Korean keyboard icons come with the OS as system apps. Don't worry about them.

Agreed, I fail to see a problem here.
strange
so having a small black circle appear when 2 icons are linked together is normal, that's ridiculous, it would look miles better without the black circle it just doesn't look right, here is a better screenshot to show you what i mean - those black circles were not there yesterday i can assure you that.
what is the point of having a black circle when it just does not need to be there, am i going mad lol

It's called a folder! It's always been like that... And if you don't like it, use a custom launcher that allows you to change it. Check out mine using Apex launcher:

What is Suggested Project Notification?

I got this odd notification in my pull down from home page today. It said suggested projects with an icon on the left like an old fashioned movie clapboard. When I clicked it it went to a clock hand image with a wallpaper background I've never seen. I haven't downloaded any new apps. Any ideas what this is? Thanks.
We'll I did manage to find out that it came from Samsung video editor from the Samsung app store or whatever you call it. I have no idea why it gave me this notification and cannot find an option to shut them off. I rarely use the app and haven't used it lately.
Beamed from my Galaxy Note 3
Same here
I have the same problem with my samsung s5. The video editor keeps pushing notification saying. Suggested project. Tired of it

FlipBoard watermark on stock lollipop rom. help!

ok so i have a stock lollipop rom running on s5 g900f.
it comes with the usual bloatware. the thing that bothers me is this: i have a watermark with the "flipboard" logo on my screen
you can always see it behind whatever im viewing. even when in camera mode!
any help on how to get rid of it? i tried to disable flipboard but that didnt help.
thanks
Sounds like screen burn-in
Take a screenshot, copy it to the PC, and view it on the PC, if the watermark is not there, it's burned into your screen more than likely
Nothing you can do apart from shout at whoever left flipboard open 24/7 on full brightness
hi, i've done it, and the screenshot is without the watermark.
i just cant post the link here because im a new user (spam protection)
so i cant fix it?
Just post it with hxxp instead of http
Doesn't sound like you can fix it no, it's not a watermark, it's what's called burn-in, which is what happens to these type of screens if the same image is left open on them for long periods of time
A similar reason screensavers were invented years ago
It happens with AMOLED screens, particularly with Samsung devices and its a physical/hardware issue so not much you can do other than try the AMOLED Burn-in Fixer from Play Store.
