[TESTING] Upcoming ROM concept. Initial testing[Surnia][7.1.2]

Hey, I am a brand new developer who has just built a lineage port that I plan on adding features to later on. These are some of the things I plan on adding:
-Aroma installation. I plan on making this ROM completely aroma installation based. Users can install customizations such as Magisk, Theme engines, advanced status bar customizations, etc. People can make it as feature-filled as they want.
-If no options are selected in aroma, the ROM will become an Unofficial lineage port.
As I am new to Android development, I will need some help getting this ROM off the ground.
But first, I need people to test if the ROM in its stock Lineage OS glory actually works. This is because I encountered fetch errors and I need to make sure that the ROM actually works the way it is should. Feedback is needed for this.
I am also unsure of how to use AROMA installer as all the guides are outdated and/or do not explain things properly.
BTW I think I should call this ROM "Custom ROM". Because people can customise it. You can see that I need help.
Code:
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/

-Backup each and every partition from TWRP Recovery

-And at last Reboot!
[First boot will take few minutes! Have patience]

Base Of the ROM & Version?
->Rom is based on LineageOS
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps AROMA
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED For N is not out yet. Still in development. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have xposed uninstalled.
-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready.
-I am facing FCs, Bugs, Some feature is broken?
->Provide full info about your problem with logcats and the procedure to reproduce it.
->How to take Logcats?

Thread design stolen from the AEX team. I will change everything later.
Very good concept, could be customized to the maximum before installing.
Count on me to prove it
Thank you
BTW, I use Linux on a virtual machine. My host is already pretty low speced, so the builds will take time to make. I am also an active student which complicates the matter even more.
2 cores, 4gb ram. Integrated graphics.
UPDATE
The very first build of this ROM is being built! As I have said at the top of the OP, This build is just to check if the LineageOS sources were downloaded properly and other errors. And after this build, I can proudly call myself an Android Developer. (hopefully)
I am unsure if this will work. I have already received 100+ warning and have no idea what they mean. I haven't received any errors yet, so there shouldn't be much of a problem.
Hope this builds!
UPDATE-2
My VM crashed. I have also got some issues with Ubuntu so I have replaced it with Elementary OS. It is really smooth and everything is working fine. I am currently syncing the source. Oh and about the source. I have forked LineageOS and have rebased my source there. Any help is appreciated. I will be busy most of the time so this ROM building will take time.
Source: https://github.com/Soneliem/android
Unfortunately I have made this a long term project that will not be actively looked at. I planned on actually making this ROM but more I am giving away this idea to anyone.

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.
Using the ROM:
Q. How do I enable software buttons?
A. Go to Aicp Extras/Navigation bar, and enable it.
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. I keep losing root with Magisk, how do I fix it?
A. Check this out. If that doesn't work for you, ask for help in this thread, read or ask in the Magisk thread on XDA or just re-flash Magisk!
Q. I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?
A. Read this
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the others section in the AICP Extras main page.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Oreo. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
3. Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
4. Flash the ROM Zipfile.
5. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work).
6. Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
7. Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the deivce, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine
KERNEL:
The kernel in this ROM follows LAOS source with custom additions.
Bugs are same as AOSIP rom , NFC dosent work , Also FP gestures not present

Flashed the latest 20180421 build from yesterday which is not uploaded here, I'm happy with the rom giving outstanding battery life and is smooth. Over 4h sot for 26% with 1h online gaming, at this rate and with no gaming 8.5-9h is achievable for 50% used.

Fp gestures not working but I don't use them. Rom is available on @lenovodownloads channel on telegram. The dev just don't update this thread on xda. Try the rom I like it, one thing I can tell is a bit annoying there is a little delay when unlocking the phone with the fingerprint scanner.
Can we expect the any update for rom already loving it please update the rom dev
Downloaded and flashed last night, works almost perfectly. However I have issues with bluetooth headsets. While playing media, it works great. But on a call or anything related to headset microphone, it simply does not work.
I have made some research in the forum and found this topic:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/help/issues-bt-16s-t3543635
So it seems like replacing the bluetooth so file will solve the issue, but I have to make sure which one could be used. Is it possible to extract the bluetooth file from the stock Nougat rom and use it on AICP Oreo? Or should I look elsewhere to find a working bluetooth file?

I tried each version, but no change at all. Playing music is absolutely okay, sound quality is always perfect. The issue is only with calls or any microphone-related function.
Here you have a solution for low call and mic install es file explorer enable root from option ant go system, etc. Mixer path open it scroll down near end now check handset digital value go editor and chage from 84 to 92 than change earpiece value from 6 to 8 save it and reboot phone now feel awesome in call sound

Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the LAOS team will if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LAOS supported, so no need to report errors/bugs to them!!
Feature list (rough Overview)
In the beginning we would like to thank:
LineageOS & CM (R.I.P.) team
@Maxwen and the rest of the OmniRom team
DU team
SlimRoms team
Resurrection Remix team
Community
...
@LorD ClockaN
@zipsnet
@eyosen
@semdoc
@Drgravy
@Hashbang173
@SpiritCroc
@wartomato
@eboye
plus the rest of the crazy bunch that we call "team"
...
We are paying for servers that build nightlies/weeklies and everything that comes with it, so EVERY DONATION will really be appreciated and be used to cover those expenses.
Thank you!!

You tell...

Thanks for awesome rom!
Does this Rom support fp gestures?
Yeah it does...,
Bro I had flashed aosp extended and now I'm on havoc but on both Roms finger print unlock and gestures are not working. Before flashing these 2 ROMS I had accidentally wiped internal storage too and now I'm having these problem.
Before wiped my internal storage all ROMs were working fine .if I flash your ROM bro will it be okay? Or you can help me to get back these features again.

Fingerprint unlock and features are working fine in these ROMs. You simply have to encrypt your phone...via settings. Then it will work again. It's a common thing

it will work obviously
After using this rom for some time... Here's my verdict
Pros....
1. Top notch performance (smoother than aex)
2. Battery performance is also great.
3. Awesome customisation option.
4. Live display option is present here.
5. Ambient works like charm.
6. First rom to implement one plus like swipe gesture (back gesture work from bottom)
7. Android p like volume slider
Cons....
1. Face unlock is the worst u will find.
2. Missed some more lock screen clock and date style.
3. No list view animation.
4. There should be an option to change volume slider at bottom.
Rest is good, I will keep this list updated each time I discover new pros or cons.
The legendary rom is back ?
