Tried to use root explorer, but after reboot the file appeared again in system apps..
Tried to use terminal emulator that comes with CM 6.1, but got error message "cannot remove , because the folder is not empty" - something like that...
The apps I want to remove are: Maps, Navigation,E-mail,Voice Search,Talk and some others....
By the way, what I shouldn't delete? I mean the apps that can make problems with the system....
Appreciate any suggestions.
Most of those are Google apps so I wouldn't remove them in case you start getting non stop force close errors. If you wanted to remove the files, you would need to have AUFS. Search for it.

listen maybe you know what can be a problem with bluetooth in cm 6.1.
can't to connect to pc to send and receive files....
Also can't send files via bt to other phones....

I'm not really sure but are you using a bluetooth file transfer app?
I only use bluetooth on rare occasions to transfer apps to my Archos...

no, no applacation used, just find pc with the device and try to send file to it or receive file from it.....
Right now, I think that when pairing the devices it said that it gonna find and downlaod drivers for this bluetooth device(htc legend), but it didn't - i thing that it's a problem....
But I ca't also send files to other phones....it's strange...

If U can't remove the apps from /system/app then you probably do not have S-OFF - what does recovery screen say? ..
I have the same issue here on my Legend since it is running hboot 1.01.. darn!

Why don't you use an easier method of getting rid of unwanted applications? You can use Titanium Backup, it has a nice exploit discovered by Paul O'Brien from Modaco (more details about it HERE, but if you have CM 6.1 already you are rooted and need only Titanium Back that is already included in CM 6.1 ROM as far as I remember). You just have to go to the apps list, long press on it and from the popup select last option to remove the application.
For BT transfers, look in the Market after an application called Bluetooth File Transfer.

In stock 2.2 it worked fine without any program....

1.Not working on both iNTrinSic and Negalite ROMs
..........The settings do nothing. And for some reason I didn't get any audio filters. "Impulse Response"...so i downloaded them and placed in the right folder...toggle through them with nothing.
3. Current setup is iNTrinSic 8/6 build...comadose...7/24 KT Kernel..with newest Viper4android build installed as a system app...with proper drivers installed
4. Driver Status looks normal except for "Processing" says "no"
5. Tried the safe mode/fx compatible mode/reinstalling drivers/tried multiple music apps

Have 2 music apps installed, such as play music and stock music player start a song on 1 player and interrupt it with a song on the second player...Then viper will work with the player you interrupted it with...If this doesn't work reboot and try again...You will have to do this after a reboot or powering off, but you will be good other than that...

This has worked for me, though I never realized what i was doing. On another note, get a root browser of your preference and make sure the viper APK is in /system/app and not /data/app. I forget what ROM I was on at the time, but after struggling to get it to work to no avail, I realized the dev put the APK in the wrong place. Odd thing is, it would work sometimes, I think with the above method, then it wouldn't. It's a fickle beast on our devices, hopefully subsequent versions of the software should be more stable. It's annoying, but Viper is AWESOME when it works. Slightly off-topic, but the HTC One X Beats IRS is the best if you really don't know what you're doing with the settings, and for someone mildly familiar with the other settings like myself, it's still a good overall foundation to tweak from. Viper works just fine for me on both of those ROMs, I am however using Poweramp. Although it also works with stock music app and MX player pro also. I have purchased two of the .irs packs also and these work just fine too.

I was having trouble getting Viper4android to run correctly on my TouchWiz Rom too and here is a solution that works:
Download Build Prop Editor from Play Store.
Launch Build Prop Editor and change the following lines if they exist:
Ipa.decode=true to lpa.decode=false
tunnel.decode=true to tunnel.decode=false
lpa.use-stagefright=true to lpa.use-stagefright=false

Doesn't work for me either
Hi Guys,
I have bundled DSP Manager and Apollo. It also includes the libs for DSP Manager. It removes MusicFX.apk.
It should work on all roms for Nexus 5. It only works for locally stored files and will not work with bluetooth etc.

I got an error during Flashing using TWRP.

i know TWRP is having issues...so I'm going to try updating it (haven't updated since it was first available) hoping someone with CWM will test this out to see if it is a ZIP problem or a TWRP problem.

hoping OP can fix this. i have some serious BT high volume issues and DSP is pretty much my last hope. i hate having to adjust the EQ all the time for wired and BT volume fixes....ugh

really? that goes against everything i have heard/read....but I'm willing to give it a try.
what did you do? extract the APK from the ZIP and install in system/app and give correct permissions and it was working?
Edit: just installed the APK as mentioned above without libs and it isn't working over BT. didn't try wired though.
Will try to fix zip tonight. Have a lot to do. DSP Manager does not work without out libs. It starts and stuf, but the missing libs mean that it can't do anything.
Edit: Uploaded new zip, should be fine now.

Zip file was not stored well. I took the liberty to correct it. I have to test their functionality but now at least it can be flashed.

OK, the new one flashes just fine.
however, when messing with the settings (both wired headset and Bluetooth) I can't say that it is actually working. admitidly, my hearing is not 100% but whenever i would play with it in the past, and i would switch compression strength, it would cut the audio for a split second and i could hear the difference. also, switching EQ presets, using Bass Boost, changing virtual Rooms ect, I dont hear a difference at all.
is this (DSP manager and Libs) just not quite ready for 4.4 yet?

I used all the audio configs from CM11 and libs from CM11. I would guess this is the problem. But unforunately I do not own an Nexus 5. So I can't test this myself.

nope, I was mistaken. it is working on locally stored files through apollo.
i just though it worked through streaming music from Google music, pandora or Songza but aparently not.....sadface

Pandora uses his own audio decoder, so that wouldn't work. And indeed, it only works for locally stored files. I don't know if Cyanogenmod will ever implement this in DSP Manager. So for now, just use Apollo.

Bass-boot , dinamic range compressor , eq seem to work but Sometimes there are crashes and freeze audio

That's odd, I've always used the DSP manager with my Google Play Music sub and it has worked great with the streaming media.

first of all thanks a lot for getting this gem available for us Mi2s users.
Testing with true dual boot, BUT installing LP on "/system" i.e system1 from CWM.
Everything good with naked Android, but now I want to install the gapps, and here it fails.
I tested gapps-lp-20141107-signed.zip and gapps-lp-20141107-small.zip (you can find it there https://yadi.sk/d/HMFRTJarcjLZq)
I first wiped /cache, /system from CWM, flashed aosp-aries-4.11.11-android-5.0.0.ivan.zip within "install from zip" in CWM.
Booted it to see how it works: fine. Rebooted to CWM and then flashed gapps.
With big gapps : no google play available, i can add a google account from the settings > accounts > add Google Account,
but then I got from Hangout, Gmail messages like "Google Play Services, which some of your applications rely on, is not supported by your device. Please contact the manufacturer for assistance."
So framework services got a problem apparently.
with small gapps : I got a Google Play icon in the application menu, but as soon as it starts, it just closes making the screen flicker for a microsecond. And it's not possible to add google account in the Setting > Account.
Guys, any hint about that problem with gapps ?
EDIT: I will investigate the size problem of /system mentionned here http://forum.cyanogenmod.org/topic/...-problem-wcm-11-20140608-snapshot-m7-epicmtd/ and go again for the gapps-small version.
EDIT2: even with disabling TDB the "Google Play Service" problem persists

yeah Bucci, well actually in-between there was an update, that worked without a problem with the Gapps : 4.11.28.
Now this update (4.12.5, http://en.miui.com/thread-67452-1-1.html, better to give the real forum post, than DL link IMHO) removes built-in GMS and after manually flashing different GAPPS, it never works and Play forces closes.
I don't know what Ivan did with the integration of GMS in 4.11.28, but it worked fine :-/
PS: well okay, after wiping everything and flashing againg 4.12.5 + gapps-lp-small, that's indeed working. Forget about it.

First off: Great $hit Man. Been looking for a better looking, remote friendly version of Android TV. Question: Does Google assistant work? Definitely not a deal breaker but trying to get a all in one setup going on a mini PC. Second: We should just leave update off to prevent OTA from messing up your mod? Thanks and keep going. Youre on to something people will want.

Awesome, love this version of PHOS. I would like to see, and help if need be, further development on this one. So just want to put this out there.. after installing an OTA update popped up and I figure there was no harm in trying it. The update installed "LaunchWork" app that was trying to show some ads but could not or would not connect to it's server so I simply used the included system app uninstaller to remove it and now I don't have to bother exiting out of an empty window every time I open an app.

I wish I was skilled enough to make this rom more stable.
I only know how to convert regular Android into Android TV with some simple modifications!
Maybe someone can take a look at it to see if we can make it more stable. An more like a Android tv
Yeah I don't really know much about how to go about stabilizing ROMS, and have a little experience unsuccessfully porting TWRP to a couple phones. Been wondering how i would go about getting the native settings working, or possibly replacing the settings apk with native settings apk, but idk if it works like that or if there is more to getting things working.

Yes still on Phoenix TV. Using it daily running it from USB. In the about section of the settings it says I am on Phoenix OS version 3.0.6.64.

Yes I tried my very best to get the native settings to work but unfortunately it kept crashing every time I enabled native! I not really that skilled but I am kinda familiar with turning regular Android into Android TV.

Usually that is an erorr with incomplete download or that the app is incompatible with the current SDK version of Android. Also if I'm thinking correctly shouldn't the app and app data be two files, apk and obb. Try changing file extension to zip and open with your favorite file manager app
