The source code hasn't been release and won't be until the next nexus devices are released. No source code. No ROMs until them. There was even an attempt over on the oneplus.net development thread where someone tried porting the M developer preview from the nexus 5 to our Opo and without success. Without a non-nexus device we'll have a long while to wait still bud. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Hope i answered your question for u.
From what I've read it won't be released till Q3 2015.. So probably sometime after September would be my guess..
We will be lucky if we have a functioning version this year, but I have my doubts.

There are no sources man. Don't rush the developers they know how to port. Threads like these are unnecessary. The devs want the latest and greatest far more than end users do.

Yes I was only spreading the news with the second link so people could see it better in case if they miss it.
Official oreo update will come to S6 Edge+, it is confirmed by samsung, ETA is unknown, but at least we will receive it.

A Samsung representative from Europe told me that Galaxy S8 will be receiving Android8 in march or april.
It's marketing cause at the WMC 2018 in Barcelona Galaxy S9 will debout and from a marketing standpoint it has to be the first to have Oreo.
So maybe we'll get it in May or may never
