Any way to run xposed on OOS 11 ? - OnePlus 8 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello,
I have a OnePlus 8 Pro with OOS 11 and root with magisk.
Is there a way to have xposed (via edxposed or taichi) please ?
All my attempts ended in a boot loop :-/
Thanks

yes, I tried this method:
1. install riru core from magisk
2. download edxposed manager from github
3. reboot
4. go to edxposed manager, switch to canary tab and install canary version
5. reboot

I followed these steps and it didn't work for me.
I'm on In OS 11.0.1.1.IN11AA with xposed v0.5.0.6-android_r(4565) and following these steps gives me EdXposed framework is installed, but not active please check logs
Log says:
E EdXposed-Bridge: Cannot lod any modules because /data/user_de/0/org.meowcat.edxposed.manager/conf/modules.list was not found

Update[GUIDE] Bypass SafetyNet With Magisk

:highfive:HELLO GUYS
So Here u can Find How To Bypass Safetnet In Your Phone While Being Rooted.
As you all know safetynet is implemented by Google itself to check Security of your Device & also by Some games or apps Eg. Pokeman Go,Android pay,Snapchat etc. So If Your Phone Is Rooted SafetyNet Test Will Fail.
With failed Safetynet Test You Can't Run These Apps in Your Mobile.
Check your Safetynet Status By This App:- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scottyab.safetynet.sample
So If your Test Failed And you can't able to run Games or Some Apps Try This method
1. Fully Unroot Your Phone In SuperSu app Go to Settings tab on the top right corner, and then click Full Unroot. Confirm with 'Continue'. 3. Once this operation is done, which takes a few minutes, you can reboot your Android & Then Flash This Unroot Script In Custom Recovery
https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3931994&d=1478779893
2. Download Magisk 12.0 http://tiny.cc/latestmagisk and Flash it in Custom Recovery & Reboot **Make sure in custom recovery if a Line Appears "Boot img already patched" That means You'r Not Fully Unrooted in this case you have to flash your Stock System.img or Stock rom**
3. Now Install Magisk Manager From Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.topjohnwu.magisk
4 In Magisk manager Go To Settings Click on Enable BusyBox & Magisk Hide
5. Thats it. Now Run Safetynet test in Magisk Manager It will pass.
6.Enjoy your Games or Apps
UPDATE :- With Android Security Patch 01/04/2016 On Marshmallow Flashed SuperSu 2.79 Flashed Suhide 0.55 Flashed Magisk 12.0 Flashed Xposed 87.0 Systemless PASSING SAFETY NET Without Disabling root

[GUIDE] [SD652/MTK] Magisk - How to pass Safetynet check

Hello everyone,
As you might have seen, Google Safetynet APIs have been updated. Since Official Magisk is using old API, when you try to pass Safetynet, it will automatically give you an error like " The response is invalid" or something like that.
So, in order to bypass this issue, I've been searching for a long time and I found a solution.
THIS WON'T WORK WITH XPOSED FRAMEWORK INSTALLED!!
1- Uninstall completely Magisk using official uninstaller.
2- Once the device rebooted, download and install latest unofficial Magisk Manager APK available on this page: https://github.com/ianmacd/MagiskBuilds?files=1
3- Open Magisk Manager and go to Magisk settings
4- Click on Update Channel and choose Custom
5- Insert this URL and click OK : https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ianmacd/MagiskBuilds/master/updates/ianmacd.json
6- Click on Clear Repo Cache
7- Return to Magisk Startpage and check for update
8- Install Unofficial Magisk 16.8
9- Once installation done, reboot your device
10- Go to Magisk Manager and check for Safetynet
If it passed, Congratulations, you're done.
If not, continue.
11- Download this Magisk Module : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=5862345805528046758
12- Once downloaded, disconnect your phone from Internet (turn of the Wi-Fi, 4g, etc...). It's very important
13- Install the module using Magisk Manager and reboot
14- When reboot done, wait 5 minutes before turning on Internet connection
15- Go to Magisk Manager and check if Safetynet passed.
It should be working, it worked in my case.
Have tried on two devices:
- Leeco x626 with EUI ROM ( Cuoco) using the module
- Leeco x526 with MIUI 10 without the module
FOR EUI ROMs:
You could get an error saying you're using a modified software or something like this, after uninstalling old Magisk.
Do this :
- Download official Magisk uninstaller AND Unofficial Magisk 16.8 ZIP
- Reboot to TWRP Recovery
- Uninstall old Magisk using the uninstaller
DO NOT REBOOT
- Return to TWRP Home menu and install unofficial Magisk 16.8
- Reboot your device and it should be okay
Wow it worked. Thanks a lot bro.

I don't think I have Xposed framework, unless it's hidden somewhere in my phone. How do I check for it? I know I have some root apps installed. Apps like es explorer, root explorer and browser, BusyBox, etal

This is a magisk issue and shouldn't be posted here
Sent from my LG-H910 using XDA Labs
I had the same problem till I went to twrp recovery and flashed the zip that magisk downloaded and it works great. Only problem left on the side is trying to get Xposed to work again through the new magisk on H918 Super Rom, it's not working ATM but I think it's fixable somehow I guess. Magisk is effecting all phones, not just V20 btw.
Check out the video about the API and safetynet by the YouTuber HighOnAndroid. That video let's u know what's up with magisk the day before new magisk update came.
Is it possible that someone backup and share with me boot partition, and from my side I recover it ?!
I'm running:
ROM: RR-0-v6.1.0-h990-Unofficial
Kernel: Gamma Kernel v26.0.0
Magisk: v17.1
Magisk Manager: v5.9.1
I'm not on stock, but i had no error or problems installing it.
Are you on stock or?
I was able to directly install Magisk 17.1 from Magisk itself without issues.

I am thinking if someone can backup the boot and share it with us. So we can recover it
Regards..
Has anyone found a way to make 17.1 work on the H990DS? It took me several flashes to get it to boot but after a couple restarts it started bootlooping again so I had to downgrade to 16 and 16 works just fine
Just stay on v16 until they can work the bugs out with v17 -- you aren't gaining anything by going to v17.

EdXposed on SAMSUNG Galaxy S10+ (SM-G975F)

Hello to the forum!
I'd like to run EdXposed on my SAMSUNG Galaxy S10+ (SM-G975F) with Android 10, for example to use XPrivacyLua. The Installation of all necessary components was no problem, but EdXposed Manager doesn't recognize the installed framework.
Before any question arises why I didn't use the official versions of some Magisk components: The official Magisk 20.1 doesn't support the SE policy needs of the EdXposed framework yet when used with Android 10, the official EdXposed Magisk modules don't support Android 10 yet, and the EdXposed Manager 4.5.2 fixes some SE policy issues.
My configuration is as follows:
Hardware:
SAMSUNG Galaxy S10+ (SM-G975F) with 512 GByte internal memory (EXYNOS)
512 GByte SD-cardFirmware:
G975FXXU3BSKO (DBT; Android 10)Root and modifications:
Magisk 20.1 (version 20101, customized by solohsu due to SE policy issues)
Magisk Manager 7.4
SAMSUNG MultiDisabler 2.2 with Bluetooth fix
Riru - Core 19.5
Magisk EdXposed module 0.4.6 beta build 4471 (these version support Android 10; I tried both YAHFA and SandHook)
EdXposed Manager 4.5.2Customized recovery:
NONE
This is what I did to install all components (developer mode enabled):
Installed Magisk Manager 7.4
Copied the firmware AP_G975FXXU3BSKO_CL17369399_QB27539832_REV01.tar to the phone via ADB
Patched the firmware via Magisk Manager 7.4 with the official Magisk 20.1
Copied the modified firmware back to the computer via ADB
Booted my SAMSUNG Galaxy S10+ into download mode
Flashed the modified firmware together with the corresponding BL-, CP- and HOME-CSC-files via ODIN 3.13
Booted into recovery mode
Did a wipe/factory reset
Booted into patched system
Installed "FK Kernel Manager" (for flashing purposes)
Flashed MultiDisabler 2.2 with Bluetooth fix
Changed update channel of Magisk to "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/solohsu/magisk_files/master/custom_builds/release.json"
Confirmed and installed an Magisk update (the above mentioned solohsu patched version 20101)
Rebooted my phone
Installed Riru - Core 19.5 via Magisk Manager download
Installed Magisk EdXposed module 0.4.6 beta build 4471-zip file via Magisk Manager module
Rebooted my phone
Installed EdXpoed Manager 4.5.2
I hoped that the framework was installed properly, but when I opened the EdXposed Manager, it told me that the "EdXposed Framework is not installed".
Is there someone who has/had the same problem and maybe solved it?
Regards from Germany
Edit:
After availibility of the new official Magisk 20.2 version I first updated my Magisk Manager to the new version 7.5 and then updated to Magisk 20.2 version after changing to the "stable" update channel. The rest of the necessary software I left untouched.
BUT I FAILED AGAIN! What's goin' wrong here?
I couldn't get EdXposed manager to work either, so now I use EdXposed installer 2.2.4 instead and everything's tickety-boo
Hi beanbean50,
I tried EdXposed Manager 2.2.4 instead of EdXposed Manager 4.5.2, but the result is still the same The EdXposed framework is not recognized...
Can you please tell me which environment you use:
Are you on Android 10?
Did you install the official Magisk 20.1 release?
Did you install "Riru - Core" and "Riru - EdXposed" modules from the official Magisk repositories?

sorry, I've just remembered what I did that was slightly different (I was in the same boat as you a couple of weeks ago)
I ended up flashing magisk-EdXposed-YAHFA-v0.4.5.5_beta-release which can be found here: https://github.com/ElderDrivers/EdXposed/pull/354
Edit:
everything else is the same as you, S10+ Android 10, Magisk 20.1 etc
Hi beanbean50,
I tried your solution but failed again and I don't know why...
But thanks for help

I finally got EdXposed to work in my configuration and the solution was VERY simple:
Magisk started in core only mode which I didn't notice - but it is mentioned on the home screen of Magisk Manager. So the modules were not loaded...
After changing the setting in the preferences the modules load and EdXposed was shown as "activated" in EdXposed Manager.
So this problem belongs to the "lesen und verstehen!" ("read and understand!") category....
Hi guys.Id like to install EdXposed on my S10 +Exynos(rooted by Magisk).I currently use last stock fw patch december.
Would it be possible to install it?
