Friend of mine bought this Chinese BS Android HU. It worked for a month and now its stuck on android logo and loading dots forever. Does anyone have any idea how to enter recovery/bootloader on this unit. I tried all combinations from the net with no success. When I connect it to usb its not detected at all. It have allwinner t8 octa core processor.

i have a Sofia 3GR Head unit that out of nowhere i decided to upgrade the firmware!
so i searched the internet and installed the first one i saw! "JOYING Intel SOFIA Android Car Stereo Software Update".
the process was too easy to hesitate!
after the installation i got a yellow error bar in top of the screen "UI and MCU does not match". (OS works smooth and fine though)
so, i started wandering in the web to find a solution , meanwhile i figured out that my old firmware was Ownice C300, and the Head unit is VoxX (according to the Web page that sells the head unit in my country).
i tried to download and install the firmware that page provided.
i think i have to enter recovery mode to install it, and this unit has a reset button that when i press it resets the head unit immediately! and no repair menu after 3 time! so no chance to enter recovery i think!
when i presses (Alt+PrtSc+i repeatedly) with USB Keyboard black screen appears that says:
ADPI mode V1
Sofia 3.0
error waite here ....
or something like that! i dont know if it is recovery mode or not.
the unit model is:
Quad Core CPU 4G, MTK
MT3561 Quad Core, ARM A53 (64Bit), 1.3GHz RIM
1 GB Ram
built-in 16 GB of internal memory,
and upgradeable to Android 8.2.1 Dual-Core
1024*600 resolution.
i liked the Ownice firmware much more, or at least the yellow error goes away in joying!
does Ownice has a easy to install Firmware like Joying?
any suggestions?
I just bought a Belsee Tesla style Android head unit with PX6 (double din, 1980*1080, 4G, 32G)
After installation for about 1 h, and I changed the boot logo to a new high resolution one. Then it did not work, stop at boot logo
The seller has send me a px6_format zip file and let me put it into a disk, plug the disk and restart the unit to recovery. But this method did not work. The unit kept at logo with no reaction.
I also tried many other method to try to enter recovery mod, but no luck.
Who can help me with this? Happy to pay for it! Thanks

Did you try use a pin to reset the unit?
Also, where did you plug in the USB with the new update PX6 zip?
Try to put it in the USB slot on the unit, not the two from the connection cords.

I've tried every method, but no luck.
I removed the core board, and post it to the seller for an exchange. Then it works again. But the radio now cannot find any channel.
Terrible head unit, strongly suggest every one do not buy this type of trash.
Hi i got an android head unit for cars from Pumpkin with an AC8227L SoC (2G DDR3 RAM/16G FLASH)
but it only shows black screen but will still recognized as MTK USB VCOM on USB Port 1 so i think there is a problem with the
preloader. If i try with SPFLashTool to flash back a preloader i got only a an error after around ten seconds that sais "error s_ft_enable_dram_fail (4032)". What for a wrong bootloader/scatter file stands. But i tried now a big bunch of scatter and preloader files without success. I read about a test point short method to reflash the chip. On the pcb itself i couldnt find any testpoints so i soldered off the heatbreak/shielding from the AC8227L pcb and found 2 testpoints near the AC chip itself and two others a bit out. But also no luck.
If someone got a suitable preloader or full firmware with scatter file for this to help me revive this radio?

Please can you assist with a firmware for the atttached T8 Allwinner TopWay model - i tried a firmware upgrade but now the device is stuck on "Android is Starting" bootloop - i can click on the "Mode" button on the steering wheel and it opens up the video app ....but i can't do anything else - i have tried most methods to update firmware but nothing works - Anyone got any ideas?
I have an allwinner quad-core t3 p1, it's supposed to be Android 9 but one of the device info apps I had downloaded said it was 8.1(fake 9). I was trying to update to Android 10 and something happens during the update and now I only have a blank screen. It turns on and the screen comes on but it's blank. I tried doing what you explained up above, but it did not work for mine. When I plug in a flash drive to the USB the light on the flash drive only comes on for a second. How can I fix it?
