CLEAN FLASH:
• Make sure you have a custom recovery installed (TWRP is the recommended recovery)
• Download the latest Resurrection Remix Rom & the latest OpenGapps package
• Boot into recovery
• Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe system, vendor, data, cache and dalvik cache as a precaution
• Flash ResurrectionRemix Rom
• Flash OpenGapps [ARM64|Android 10|Pico] (Optional)
• Flash Magisk Root (Optional)
• Format data (if you come from MIUI)
• Reboot to recovery and then to system
• First boot may take up to 5-10 minutes.

Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

My wifi works fine. The same as with the stock ROM. I can't help you there.
I'd like to ask about the encryption support in this ROM. I've read that Android 10 requires File Based Encryption (FBE). Does this ROM actually supports it?
After a fresh install, in the settings it said the system was unencrypted. After I enabled encryption there, it seems I have Full Disk Encryption (FDE). Can I have FBE isntead with this ROM?
Also, anyone knows if is there a way to encrypt the SD Card?

But i got a distorted display issue, i don't know how to describe that but take a close look at the screenshots and you will see how the text are distorted and not rendered properly.

Don't use CWM ,it is not stable for cancro..use TWRP ,it is best, no problems
Installed TWRP- After flashing open gapps 6.0 get error that set up wizard has stopped... Tried all kinds of flashes.. Clean flash- not working- CLean flash + reboot without gapps and then flash gapps after first boot = not working... Any ideas?

Set up google Play later.
Actually, Google PLay Services requires a few permissions. So go into settings and then Apps to give it permissions.
Solved it... The gapps need to be flashed along with rom... In twrp it is possible... Flashed both the rom and gapps together...

I tried to flash both rom and gaaps using TWRP not booting after setup is finished. Then i flash Rom alone and i am able to boot, Then i againg flashed gaaps seprately it's not working.

In twrp select rom as first file and select gapps as second file... We can flash 10 zip files one after another in twrp by selecting them once... Don't flash rom first then back in twrp and then gapps... Select both files in one go... Only when I did that was I successful...
How to install on Multirom? You have a updater-script like on Beanstalk? Sorry for my english

Using SP Flash Tool
Prerequisites
Install MTK USB Drivers (windows xp/vista/7 - Windows 8/8.1/10 - other windows 10)
SP Flash Tool (howto)
In SP Flash Tool, always use "Download Only" mode when not explicitly asked to do otherwise (you could lose your IMEI/WIFI/BT) or if you don't know what you are doing.
Please do NOT ask about any problem with USB drivers or SP Flash Tool here in this thread, this is not the right place for it as these problems are not related to THIS particular recovery but to YOUR computer setup. There are other threads and/or sites about such problems.
Installation
power off the tablet
launch SP Flash Tool, click on "Download" tab
click "scatter-loading" button and choose the downloaded scatter file (MT6592_Android_scatter-recovery_only.txt is based on KK stock rom)
on the "RECOVERY" line, click the empty "Location", and choose the downloaded recovery img file
click "Download"
plug your tablet on USB
Using previous already installed TWRP
reboot to recovery
"Install"

@agustk404 If i am currently on miui 11.0.2 ,how do I downgrade to miui 10.1.1 using the firmware that has been provided without flasing the full rom via edl or fastboot mode.
When installing linease os 17.1 I flashed that firmware via twrp then wiped the system,data and cache and then flashed linease os and gapps. But every time sim and wifi didn't work. Restoring persist backup did nothing.
Only way it worked was to flash full rom (10.1.1) via fastboot then let it go upto android setup screen and then restart to recovery, wipe and flash the rom. If i just flashed the fastboot rom and then without restarting wiped and flashed the linease os rom either wifi or sim didn't work. I think something similar may happen here.
So what is the proper use of the miui 10.1.1 firmware that you have provided if I am currently on miui 11.0.2?

Have installed it from MIUI 11, I downgraded to Nougat with flashable zip O to N from Indian Youtube.

Installed after made everything wiped, cache, dalvik, data, system and vendor, rhen formatted. The only problem i have so far are bad mic and audio quality. I compare it with other phone with miui 10 installed. I don't know if it caused by the kernel, because i can't install the kernel linked above, or it is had been installed along the rom itself.

After that the device is nearly bricked.
No TWRP, No Android, only fastboot
flashing TWRP again does not change things. Only some blue stripes on the screen after short time with "mi" logo.
How can i go now to find out what i can do. The only thing working is fastboot on device and fastboot command on linux PC.
Looks like not much chance of repair
Can i flash this without downgrading to MIUI 10 with TWRP treble?

Hi i am on android 10 WW-17.2018.2004.31 every time i want to flash no matter which custom rom stays on fastboot after booting the system. In twrp 3.4 I clean system,cache,dalvik, vendor, data format, flash stock a10 flash custom Rom, flash gapps, Format data ,reboot and got stuck on fastboot .. Can you help? Thanks in advance ps yes I used the recommended twrp from the link cleans partitions as in the manual but unfortunately without success. I also used dm verity force encryption, which also doesn't run custom rom. Only vbmeta flash flastboot taken from rom runs asus boot animations and stands frozen. Please help

Don't forget to unlock bootloader first..
Try this..
Format data > reboot recovery > wipe data,cache,internal and system. Install only rom without firmware. Reboot to system, if success next instal gapps.. im using this step on any custom rom to install and sucess..
Better using adb sideload if internal storage not detected on your pc if you want to move rome on your phone

Download the zip(s).
Install a compatible Recovery
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe system / data / cache partitions
Flash ROM.
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.
Optional: Install Magisk for Root.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android R. You don't need to install any Add-ons, simply download the latest ROM and GApps, then follow the flashing instructions and go!
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine though.

Try wipe system data and cache, restart to recovery and flash zip. It should be okey

This didn't work, it throws me that same error (Undater process ended with ERROR: 1), i've tried by removing all partition and flashing twrp in fastboot, i've also tried to flash the firmware, tho still the same error, i have a Xiaomi Mi4 LTE.

I've tried this rom only on Mi4w. Is it your device codename is Cancro? It should be okey on mi4w and mi3. But for LTE version, i haven't any idea.
But for now, try this:
Advanced wipe > format system as EXT4
Advanced wipe > repair System
Flash zip file

Hi, i've tried formating that way but still the same error.
My device codename is indeed cancro, and i've used tarkzim's lineageos 18.1 without major issues (wifi stopped working at some point iirc).
This phone is also compatible with Windows 10 Mobile (mi4 lte exclusivity i think).
I've flashed this twrp: https://eu.dl.twrp.me/cancro/twrp-3.7.0_9-0-cancro.img.html

Welp, still not working, i've tried to flash your HavocOS rom and it did flash correctly so it only happens with this rom sadly.

If you have this error : "E1001: Failed to update system image.
Updater process ended with ERROR: 1"
Maybe u need to increase your system partition. You can use this guide or this video to repartition your phone and increase partition.
