Problems with Galaxy Wearables after rooting and upgrading to android 10 with Havoc - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have rooted and upgraded my galaxy note 3 with Havoc toa custom rom, android 10 using Odin to load Twrp and loading Havoc and Gapps from the phone based twrp. All went well but, when I tried to install the Galaxy wearables I got an error that the phone OS was modified so the Galaxy waerables will not work. I would like to connect the upgraded phone to my active 2 watch. Samsung pay is not important to me. Any idea guys?

Needs stock Samsung firmware or a Samsung based rom .

ROM suggestion for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0

Greetings,
I have recently purchased my wife a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7" tablet (model SM-T230NU). We are pretty happy with the tablet however I would love to get rid of all the bloat that Samsung adds into the OS.
Years ago I installed a custom ROM on a ASUS tablet that not only upgraded the OS to a more recent Android release, but also was clean stock android install. I am interested in a recommendation for a stable
Android ROM for the Galaxy Tab where I am not loosing any functionality. The Galaxy Tab ships with Android version 4.4.2. I'd also be interested in going to Lollipop or Marshmallow if there is a stable version available.
Appreciate any recommendations!
Cheers,
Torbuck

Hi,
My Tab4 SM-T230NU is only booting up to the Tab4 screen and just hangs there.. I downloaded the Acheron rom and a few others as well to try to get this working again.. I have installed the latest Odin software and the USB drivers, but can't seem to figure out how to go about installing the Rom using this. I also tried the Kies software, and it tries to connect to it, but never does, so that's out.. I also can't get it to go to "recovery" mode using the pwr,vol up,Home buttons, but it does go into the "download" mode.. There's no way for me to turn on USB Debugging in the developer options, so can I still install this rom using Odin? Thanks for any assistance.

Samsung galaxy s5 sprint rom issues

So I was able to root and install twrp onto my s5 and get it to stick. I used skillsofts tool which made it pretty easy.I then installed lineage OS nightly 4-26-17 which is android 7.1 . Lineage was not working well for me. So i switched rom's and the newer one i like but it has the same issue at least radio wise. I can get 3g, but i can't get lte. Anyone know of a fix?

Samsung s5 G900F not booting after MIUI 7 install

Hi everybody,
I am new to the forum and new also to modifying android phones. I have a G900F and I wanted to try a few custom ROMs. I first installed Lineage 14.1 and everything went pretty smooth. After I wanted to try the official S5 MIUI7 v6.5.27 which I downloaded from the MIUI website. I wiped everything I could and installed the zip file with TWRP. There was no progress bar but it seemed to perform tasks. When finished, I rebooted but the phone is stuck on the Samsung logo without any progress. I tried many times and I always had the same issue. Could you please help me out with this? What can I do to fix the install issue? My phone is now working (installed the Super Lite by Vincom) but I would like to give MIUI a try. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
Miui 7 is based on android lollipop so you gotta flash lollipop bootloader and modem in order to get it working.
I would like to suggest you MIUI 8 by blackbuga, you can find the thread on Galaxy s5 development (snapdragon).

Thanks! That was a quick reply!
I imagined that there was some issue of this kind. I was driven to v7 for its being an official release and stable. I saw that blackbuga's is beta and thought it was unstable. Well actually I wasn't relying on my skills, as I said I have been playing around with rom's for a week or so.
I'll give that a try

galaxy note 4 with twrp 3.0.2-0, how to go to latest stock rooted?

i have a verizon galaxy note 4 i haven't used in ages that i need to start using again and i wanted to go to stock rooted and clean up some bloat. what is a good way to do this?
thanks!
some more details
The phone is currently running EmotionOS 7.1.1 and 2CPL1
i decided to stay with custom roms:
upped to twrp 3.2.1, wiped memory, odin to CQL1, twrp installed RR and open gapps.
anyone know a rom that has working miracast to windows 10 or any OS?
I have been test LOS 14.1 and it works okay but a little unstable. Seems like the best I can get on this phone will be as close to stock as possible. I had it working well enough but I wanted to root the device.
So I would like to know what combination of bootloader and firmware/Rom will give me
unlocked bootloader
Twrp
Stock MM
Root
Best cell performance
Thanks in advance

Any one tried Lineage OS 14.1 for SM-J120H Samsung J1 2016?

Hello everyone!
I searched on Google Custom ROM for Samsung J1 SM-J120H but i can't find any Rom
Then I found one post on Facebook Install Lineage OS 14.1 Custom Rom for SM-J120H/DS Samsung J1 2016
If anyone tried this Rom please tell me
Yeah, flashed that in my J120M/DS (after making some changes to the install script), and it bricked my device. I had to flash the phone's firmware via ODIN to restore it.
After investigating the ROM itself, it seems like it's not compatible with any Exynos 3475 Galaxy J1 phone. The install script assumes incorrect mount points, and when you change those mount points the installation succeeds but the OS never boots up. I suspect these are baked into the boot.img image, and so to boot the rom up, system wide changes have to be made.
I don't know if the J120H uses different mount points or lacks an Exynos 3475 SOC, but the latter seems to be the answer. J1xlte phones (J1 with Exynos3475) are extremely hard to develop for. This phone has been out for four years now and there's no stable ROM yet, and probably there won't be any soon.
In conclusion, you may be able to use this ROM if your Galaxy J1 2016 phone has a Spreadtrum SOC. If it doesn't, it won't install.
There are some ROMs, sadly, those are not stable, i tried all of the Nougat ROMs and bluetooth were activating after 7 seconds, those ROMs doesn't pass SafetyNet, have bugs with FM Radio, GPS, and even doesn't recognize any alarm, notification and ringtone on sound picker, i highly recommend you to stick with Stock ROM
