Your Device Is Corrupt. It Can't Be Trusted And Will Not Boot...Please Help - OnePlus 5 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I Wanted to Install A Custom ROM Into My Oneplus 5 So I Flashed It Via TWRP Recovery And I Alslo Rooted My Phone To Do So, Then After A Few Days I Was Tired Of My Custom ROM And Wanted To Revert Back To The Orignal, So I Flashed My Orignal ROM To My Device And When I Tried To Relock The Bootloader Through Fastboot. Once Done, My device Refuses To Boot And Displays The Following Message: "Your Device Is Corrupt. It Can't Be Trusted And Will Not Boot".
Then I Got Very Scared And Unlocked The Bootloader Again + Wiped Everything (Including System) + Flashed TWRP Recovery + Flashed (Via TWRP Sideload) a Previous Version Of Oxygen OS And The Booted It Once Again Everything Went Fine And When I Tried Relocking The Bootloader The Device Once Again Started To Show The Same Message Again !!
I Have Lost Every Single Hope Of Recovering My Device Except You Guys.
Any Thought On How I Can Resolve?
Thanks!

Why do you want to relock it? Life is better with Magisk and Blu_Spark in my opinion.
If you want your bootloader to be locked I find it easiest to use the MSM tool (hard brick recovery). It'll wipe your phone but restore it to a like new out of the box condition, just choose a firmware.
Cheers!?

How about you try the MSM Tool to start again from scratch.

Help twrp

I have a Huawei P9 Lite and i have installed twrp and android 7.0 on it. Now I want to install Google assistant, but when i try to boot in twrp recovery (volume down + power b) it shows me the screen where it says ''Installing update'' and then freezes at 5 % so i have to hold my power button to power off the phone.
If I dont try to run in the twrp, phone works just fine.
I apologize for my bad english.
Hi there,
I will move your thread in the correct forum dedicated to Huawei P9 Lite for more relevant answers.
Good luck
Bump..
Just to state that I am in the same boat here; as I am facing the same issue. Here's what happened in my case (using a guide found here at XDA-Developers):
-- unlocked the bootloader
-- booted to bootloader and flashed twrp
-- used adb to reboot to recovery (adb reboot recovery)
-- used twrp recovery to flash nougat update (two zip files, one ~1300mb and second ~680mb)
-- had some errors that were expected, the guide said ignore them and reboot after both zips have been flashed.
-- the flash overall was successful as the phone booted in emui 5 with android nougat. However, there was no virtual keyboard; so decided to do a factory reset
-- rebooted to recovery, but this time, the phone booted to huawei erecovery
-- did a factory reset, but to no avail
-- now, i can't boot into twrp to flash anything else. booting into bootloader and using fastload to flash recovery image is successful, but the phone does not boot to twrp recovery; remain stuck on "your phone is booting up" (or something similar).
My phone is not bricked, as basic telephony, wifi and built-in apps are working fine. But, without a keyboard, its pretty useless for everyday use. Any help in this matter will be appreciated.

This seems helpful; but how can I flash recovery if I can't boot to fastboot?
[Update] Oh, got to fastboot, trying the suggested recovery now.
Fixed
Fixed using the suggestion above. Thanks.

Issue with unlocked bootloader

Hey,
I had AOSP rom and i decided to go back to OOS. (xXx rom)
I entered TWRP, Cleaned Data,Cache,Dalvik,System.
And Factory reseted it.
Installed the xXx rom, and i got on the splash screen instead of "Bootloader Unlocked"
And i'm getting "<!>"
And i couldn't boot.
And i can't press volume keys to get to recovery or bootloader, but it boots straight to bootloader.
i entered to TWRP again (Via bootloader), reflashed stock OOS.
It booted, and then i entered bootloader to flash TWRP again, and it didn't succeeded
I enter only Stock Recovery and every time i try to flash Recovery it's succeed but it's does nothing, still entering Stock OOS recovery.
Now i stuck at stock OOS, and stock rocevery.
Can't flash anything.
Can someone tell me what to do?
Best is via ADB flashing latest BlueSpark TWRP (fastboot devices, fastboot flash recovery (name of TWRP).img and then format all so you start with a clean plate. Then move your ROM from PC to Internal and proceed further. But IMO a "format" is needed. Also siakantabg made a flashable zip from the old bootloader. Flash this zip in TWRP first after formatting en wiping everything.

I need help, soft bricked phone...

@letschky, or any other what to do:
I got old friends phone, perfectly health with old b332 rom (android 7).
It was rooted, twrp, @letschky rom.
I wanted just to back to stock.
So entered in twrp and wiped all. Of course I know I now not have rom. I hoped to do erecovery.
Entered erecovery and it said: 'getting package info failed'.
Hisuite also can't recognize its rom.
So how to repair?
Twrp is operable.
Bootloader level also works, I was there. Fastboot can work.
Thanks in advance

[Help] Bootloop after updating, usb debugging not enabled.

Using the miflash tool I flashed stock firmware (some version of android 8) after previously having a custom ROM installed. Everything worked fine until I rebooted after updating to the latest version using OTA.
My phone never got past the android one screen where it would freeze part way through, and after removing my sim card I could get to the pin unlock screen before the lock screen but after inputting the correct pin it would reboot and ask me for it again and again. I can get into fastboot fine but since usb debugging wasn't enabled and my bootloader is locked I can't reflash.
Booting into recovery also only brings me to a screen where the android mascot has a red triangle with an exclamation mark and a message saying "No command", so I can't factory reset.
Is there anything I can do to unlock the bootloader in this state or factory reset? (all flash tools and fastbooting into TWRP require the bootloader to be unlocked which in turn requires usb debugging to be activated)
Thanks for your time.
Update: I messed around with stuff on the cli based tissot tool and used option 2 to boot me into TWRP. It didn't do that but brought me into android where a system process kept repeatedly closing until a random factory reset happened.
I then got into normal android for a bit before I had to reboot (did remember to unlock the bootloader this time). I can now install twrp fine but every time I install the stock rom using miflash or try to install resurrection remix through twrp I get the same bootloop issue.
For some reason also my internal storage is completely empty no matter what i do so i need to sideload roms via sd card. And sometimes twrp gives me the error "failed to mount /system"
Trying the latest version of LineageOS next.
Update 2: if you have the same issue I had, the only working fix I've found is this restore point for twrp. Have not tried to update yet in case it breaks again but will make a final update with how that goes.
[SOLVED] Mi A1 BOOTLOOP
THIS PROBLEM IS VERY ANNOYING!! (The reason is because i didn't backup EFS before i flash Custom ROM) And I would like to share how to RESOLVE it. **your phone must be Unlocked Bootloader. Search Google how to do it. (Quick tip: in Fastboot...

-PLEASE HELP- UNABLE TO FLASH TWRP OR ROOT

Hello
Sorry for my bad english
a few months ago, i decided to flash my first custom rom (One UI rom) and it worked fine
then i was testing a lot of other roms too until i tried lineage os 20
when i flashed lineage os 20, i decided to try another rom but i was stuck on the twrp logo screen. i tried methods of fixing it but none of them worked.
after trying a method of flashing twrp once again, it failed and i got stuck in a reboot loop and could only boot into download mode. so i booted into download mode and flashed a stock rom.
everything was working fine again until i wanted to try another custom rom. At first whenever i would flash twrp, they would always fail. but later i found the cause of that and fixed it. then, flashing twrp would always pass but my device would get stuck on a reboot loop once again and i had to flash stock rom again.
i tried rooting using auto root but it would show me a verification failed error and i had to reset my device. so now im stuck on a device which cannot flash twrp, nor can it be rooted. its been 1 month and i could not find a viable solution so any help would be extremely appreciated.
You have to just reflash your fastboot rom with fastboot mode unzip it and double click on flash_all.bat file or something like that
it is a samsung, there is no fastboot mode
