Hi!
I successfully changed CSC from TGY to BRI and vice versa on my SM-N9860/DS.
From N9860ZSU1ATH1 ROM, I just flashed my unit back to the N9860ZSU1ATGM (stock firmware with July security patch) using Odin and then change CSC using the Change CSC app by Mysterious Dev.
Download Links:
N9860ZSU1ATGM or N9860ZSU1ATGM MEGA Download
Change CSC Windows App
Important notes and instructions:
Tested only when coming from N9860ZSU1ATH1 TGY/BRI ROM.
Factory Reset is required when flashing N9860ZSU1ATGM. If you are new to Odin flashing, check this thread first. Use the CSC_OMC_OZS_*** file instead of the HOME_CSC_OMC_OZS_*** on the CSC slot in Odin. You can use the latter but reset is still required.
After flashing is done and and your phone has completely booted, open the Samsung Themes app and login your samsung account, update the app if ask.
Before doing the change CSC, do the following first:
Enable developer mode on your phone and enable USB debugging
Disconnect your phone from internet.
Connect your phone to your PC using USB data cable and allow PC connection on your phone once prompted.
Turn-off your windows PC anti-virus before installing and opening the Change CSC app (the app is being detected as a virus)
If the Change CSC app is not opening properly, you need to run it as administrator.
On the Change CSC app, click "Check" > "Connect" > Select "Android 10" > Click "Change CSC". Go to your phone and click "Check out my stuff". Then follow the instructions shown on your windows desktop. Select the 'Android 10' option in the Legal Settings. Select the CSC that you want to test (BRI or TGY) and install. Click "Remove Change CSC" once done.
Turn-on you windows anti-virus back.
This will not trip knox if followed accordingly.
Do these procedures at your own risk!

After changing to BRI, I was able to update my phone to N9860ZSU1ATH1 OTA.
With BRI, I am already getting the 4G Carrier Aggregation on my unit here in the Philippines (which was not happening previously with TGY).
CA makes a significant difference on my unit. I now have 70-125mbps with it. Without it, it barely hovers 20mbps.
I have not tested the 5G yet. I have no 5G signal in my place yet.

Thanks a lot. 5G works in Switzerland (Sunrise) on slot 2 only, but both sim cards can be activated.

Am I on ATH1 or ATH2? Can I go ahead with changing my CSC using this method. The only reason I would want to do this is to enable call recording.
Will it be changed forever? Will I get updates and what happens when I get an update? Do I still remain with the changed CSC or does it get reverted to the stock one? Thanks & sorry for so many questions...

You can't get call recording with this ROM.
I think you can get it by flashing the N9860 rom with CHC CSC.

Does this require that your phone should still be on the Aug 1 security patch to be able to downgrade to the July security patch?

Thanks a lot, you saved me a lot of work.
May I ask what is the point in changing CSC in this case?

Mostly to get the latest updates, or for some to get the built-in call recording (Exynos variants).

Glad it helps. You are on BRI on this, right? It's good to know that 5G works even both sim cards are used.
How about 4G carrier aggregation (4G+)?

In my case, networks issues. As mentioned , 4G CA was not working while I am on TGY, so with the 5G. 4G CA is working now with BRI. Haven't tested the 5G yet. My country uses the same 5G band and freq with Taiwan.

The reason I asked is that I read somewhere that you can't 'downgrade' your firmware once you are already on the Sep 1 security patch. were you on the Aug 1 patch prior to downgrading to the July patch? I'm gonna try this on my Exynos phone, I hope it works as I am still on the Aug 1 sec patch. BTW I sent you a DM. I appreciate your time. Thanks!

Not sure, but I think it will work with Exynos going back to Jul patch from Aug patch.

I will report here later.
Kindly check your private message. I asked you something about the firmware. I want to share with everyone if indeed I got it right. Thanks.

Was reading carefully but my question is
CSC changer can change borrowing exynos CSE on Snapdragon? I want to change KOR (KOO) to UK BTU.
Why? This will fix region problems and samsung daily will focus on UK news rather then korean.

I don't think it will work. Exynos and SD use different modem hardware.
You will have a good chance if from the same chipset.

IT works. Still after updating to the latest firmware (Ota), the 5g mark doesn't show up anymore. Still it seems I'm on 5g given my speed test. Did anyone else notice that?

@Tribalfs I want to thank you for this. Since your guide is for the SD version, I made a thread for the Exynos version.

[Q] N9005 "No Service" need help to troubleshoot

Hey All,
I got a Note 3 N9005, which supposedly was purchased in UAE.
Currently trying to use it in India, but, the device always says "No Service", with a crossed circle instead of network signal icon on notification bar.
Phone is on 4.2.2 with UGNH1. Below are some observations:
- Phone does NOT ask for any PIN / Unlock Code.
- In Settings > Status.. irrespective of any SIM, or no SIM.. Mobile Network Type = Unknown, Service State= Out of service, Mobile Network State=Disconnected.
- Orig CSC code is displayed as XTC from Phone Info App
- Tried to select a different CSC from CSC Select app.. it changed the boot logo but, network status.. still crossed circle
- IMEI is proper as printed below the battery
- Still i tried ChainFire's RegionLockAway. But, as expected, the method is only for MI7 / MJ1 / MJ3 JB versions. Sadly mine has already crossed and has A2 bootloader. So, no change was observed with CF RegionLockAway. Reverted the cahnges.
- Tried to flash MJ1 / MJ3 binaries from sammobile. As expected the latest bootloader won't allow to downgrade.
- Flashed Omega, but for no luck. Still no service and crossed circle icon.
- Flashed latest CyanogenMod. Though there was no Crossed Circle icon, there was an icon of network signal with zero network.
- Flashed official Lollipop verson to see if any changes.. no luck. Reverted back.
- Installed advanced network info app, network status, neighboring MSC, cells.. etc was shown as none.
No clue how to enable the device's network capabilities (all else like WiFi and other feature work as usual).
It will be a great help if you can guide me through! Please let me know if any other info is required.
Thanks a lot in advance. !!
Purchased in UAE doesn't necessarily it was a UAE phone. Phone Info Samsung from Play Store can tell you where it is from.
What I would do is...
Download the firmware from Sammobile to suit your phone. One fairly common issue is that Hong Kong or Chinese phones get sold into Europe or other markets and their PIT and other partitions are different. So first thing is to go back to scratch.
If you phone IS from where you think, make sure you have the stock firmware for that location and flash the latest version using Odin and Download mode.
Start Odin - v3.09 is best.
To enter DL mode for anything to do with BL or Modem you MUST turn phone off. It is best to remove the battery and wait a while, then put it in and use the Power On+Vol-Down+Home key to get into DL mode, then [plug phone into PC and wait for Odin to notice it is there.
(if Odin doesn't notice it, get the latest Samsung USB drivers for the phone and install them with phone unplugged, then plug in phone and Windows should give a pop-up)
Click on AP in Odin and navigate to where you saved the firmware - note you DL'd a zip but you need the md5 file so use 7zip to unpack the zip.
Click on the md5 file and wait for it to load into Odin.
* [Auto Reboot] and [F.Reset Time] should be the ONLY things ticked.
Click [Start] and wait.
Let phone restart and set it up with your details. Once done see if you have network.

Thanks Journyman16 for the quickreply.
I installed the "Phone Info Samsung" app as you mentioned and found the phone's CSC code is XTC! (= Philippines (Open Line))!!
Thanks for the hint. I will download the latest firmware from sammobile for n98005 for XTC and check. Will be back with updates in some time.

Update:
Flashed below 3 stock firmwares from sammobile, each time cleared cache and factory wipe.. still the crossed circle is hopelessly adamant and persistent.
4.4.2 N9005XXUGNH1
4.4.2 N9005XXUGNI4
4.3 N9005XXUDMJ7 (failed to flash, i guess due to current bootloader version A3)
I tried with Odin 3.09.3 & 3.10.6 & 3.07 .... same result.
Any suggestions? please share.. I'm ok to soft brick the phone Recovered from boot loop few times
Any further suggestions? Please share.. Shall i give a try with full wipe (/system/ folder wipe) with TWRP ? Or any other thing ?!
Tried a different sim card ??
Checked APN settings .
Checked you have modem/ baseband via settings .

They are old stock ROMs - how sure are you the phone wasn't updated to the new version of BL? I'm not sure if you're on the new version and then try to downgrade it, which version you will see in Phone Info but check it. There's also a phone # code to use that returns the basics for the phone, but I can't recall if you said you get calls or not and I'm heading for bed. Think the code is something like *#12334#* - google for secret smartphone codes.

Hi JJEgan, thanks for your suggestions..
I tried with different SIM, yet no luck.
APN settings.. shows my SIM operator's default settings.
When I search networks Manually.. it searches for a ~10 seconds and returns without any list/error.
Select automatically shows "Automatic registration.." progress continuously for > 5 mins.. i closed manually.

Yea Journyman16, they seem to be still good old of 4.4.2. Latest must be 5.0. On samobile, for XTC i could see only till 4.4.2. Maybe for this phone version, there are no updates? Not sure.
And, yes, sadly BL is updated to A3. Which I could see in Recovery mode's REV line. (if it was A1, I could have flashed MI7 and tried RegionLockAway.. )

/system/csc/GLB/system/csc/customer.xml has a line:
<NbNetworkLock>1</NbNetworkLock>
Which ChainFire's RegionLockAway changes to
<NbNetworkLock>0</NbNetworkLock>.. but as mentioned in it's details, the method is compatible only with MI7, MJ1, MJ3 firmwares and i'm on UGNH1 and unable to downgrade

I'd upgrade rather than try to get around the downgrade issues. What Region do you WANT to have? European ones seem to get early release of upgrades - e.g. many LP ROMs are based around the Polish release.
I don't know enough to interpret logs, but my thought would be to find a non-Philippines version (one of the Europe ones perhaps) and find a PIT file for that one. Then go read up on how to safely flash a new PIT. Then flash your preferred firmware and follow the root process etc.
I started with a HK version of S3 - every time I tried to flash a new ROM it failed and bricked my phone. Eventually I found that the PIT file on most Asian phones was different and I flashed PIT, then stock FW for the region I wanted then re-rooted and flashed the custom ROM.
Read many time, flash once, OK? I do not make bricks, nor need them, so I will not accept them delivered to my door...

There's a Euro PIT on the link at This Post - I checked and the dropbox is still valid. It's 4.4.2 so could be just what you need.
Now you probably want an India ROM but I haven't any links for that 0 there's a thread for India users though I think.
What I think might be happening is that different countries use different frequencies and formats for signal. It might be that India's set up simply doesn't work with the modem you've been using and the India ROM will not set up with the Asian PIT set up etc.
But read up on the process first, OK? The more you know about it the better chance you have to recover from anything going wrong.
Also, I presume from your OP that the phone NEVER worked once you got it? Do you know for a fact it worked prior to that? Maybe you're chasing solutions for a faulty hardware issue?

Hi Journyman16, thanks for the suggestions.. i tried the pit file you referred, but, still no luck. And, if i'm not wrong pit file is all about allocating ROM space for /system & /dbdata and has nothing to deal with the antenna/telephony module, please correct if i'm not right.
About the phone's status yea you're right. It never worked after i received it. But, it was working usually in UAE, as per the info i got. Maybe.. as you suspected.. it might be faulty hardware too.. I don't know.. just exploring the options.. to conclude something..

The only unbranded NH1's seem to be Greece or Netherlands. Netherlands has a 5.0 - maybe DL that and flash in Odin? Greece has a v5.0 but it's branded with (EUR) so I don't know if that's a company or general... I'd go the Netherlands one.
Other than that, I'm not sure - might be time to get the phone checked properly?
Finally.. could trace the root cause.. antenna / receiver chip malfunction. So, it was an hardware issue that had to be replaced at a cost at service center.
Summary: If network icon is crossed circle, its not a good sign !! Thanks

[GUIDE] Upgrading From Lollipop to Marshmallow SM-920C/CD

I have seen many users still have no proper information about upgrading SM-N920C/CD (Galaxy Note 5 and Dual Sim) so i thought i'd write up a simple guide for it.
at the time of writing, Marshmallow Firmwares is only available for CAM and MID CSC Variants, so if you don't mind flashing your lollipop with these firmwares (don't worry you can change it later when your real CSC firmware is released), follow these steps or just walk away

Steps:
1. Get Odin and Extract Odin ZIP file
2. Get Marshmallow Rom [ CAM ] [ MID ]
3. Enable Developers Option and turn on OEM Unlock from the Developer Options.
4. Reboot to Download Mode by first turning off the phone and then holding volume down + home + power key combo
5. Start Odin and Connect your phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin, then Select the Firmware by clicking the AP button and wait for few minutes to let it load the 4gb file after its finished loading, Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked, Click start and wait for your device to reboot.
Known Issues:
1 if you flash CAM csc firmware, you'll have S health restrictions, on older version there was a bypass by using xposed module but nothing yet for 6.0.1
Thnx

CAM = Cambodian Formware
MID = Middle eastern firmware (multi CSC, incls PAK, KSA, XSG etc)
what you need to do is get the latest XSG firmware from here : https://mega.nz/#!IREXRaLb!e_Jj4c3WLSLjnw9YZBFXxsyaoAuFGXTXA4r6vI-cUSQ
regarding your s health features, Samsung does not have propper medical license to allow spo2 and other tests done so thats why its limited to only HRM in the CAM firmware, flash any other ROM like MID or XSG and it'll work fine
PS. make sure you backup your data first!

Download the latest BTU-firmware from i.e. SamMobile
1. Install Odin 3.10.7
2. Put AP BL CP CSC in the designated slots (your device will be resetted afterwards)
If you reflash the current AP + BL + CP BUT use the Home-CSC version the device will not reset data.

PHN is from my own country, it holds carrier specific stuff.
Basically you can use any CSC you want, but some CSC versions also install extra software at first boot.

I bought my S7E from eBay and the CSC is THR (Iran).
Is there any reason I should change the CSC? What do you recommend? BTU or NEE? Any other?
Thank you!

If the phone works fine now i would not change anything.
If you are a flashaholic then use the latest and greatest from the link i posted.
If you just want automatic updates on a regular basis via OTA then flash BTU, chances are that this firmware will be updated quicker.

I just want OTAs.
If BTU has G935FXXU1APD3 and THR has G935FXXU1APD1 does it mean the BTU version has a newer version?

In that case you must flash the stock image from BTU.
That firmware can be easily found.
But keep in mind that this will reset the phone !!!

If you want OTA then you need to setup the phone with all stock firmware.
So you need to use the CSC file and NOT the Home_CSC file.
When using the normal CSC file, the script in the CSC formats data on your phone. (factory reset)
Sure you can use Home_CSC but then you will not get OTA files, or when you get them they will fail when installing.

So you're saying if I put HOME_CSC, OTA will not work, so I MUST use original CSC file and format my data if I want to get OTAs?
No way around this without losing my data? It's a pain in the a** to format everything...

Brotuck, thank you very much for all your posts here. They have been very useful for me! I bought a Galaxy S7 online for quite a good price. Phone has worked well with no issues apart from one! Which was that it would not upgrade to the latest firmware for the S7 from Samsung: G930FXXU1APD3. My phone had the upgrade ending in APD1. I did some investigation using PhoneINFO app from the Play store and turns out my phone CSC code was TRI and BGY which are Vietnam and Hong Kong! Turns out my phone is a grey market phone as I am in the UK.
I wanted APD3 because I am in the UK with the EE network which provides WiFi calling which I wanted for my my phone as I work in a building which has very poor reception but has WiFi. I read the APD3 version allows for WiFi calling. I called all the Samsung helplines to get my phone upgraded but no luck. Eventually I thought to go the DIY route and found this thread! I was quite wary of downloading and updating my phone using the Odin method and thought long and hard several times fearing I would brick my phone! However last night I bit the bullet and updated!! You will be happy to know thanks to this thread, and various others I Googled, the phone upgraded with no issues (so far!). I can now see the WiFi toggle in the Phone settings!!! I used the full csc code and not the Home code and so had to add all my stuff back on the phone again but that was not too bad as I had backed up my phone using Smart Switch.
I have just one question though: My phone now shows Bootloader, PDA and CSC versions as G930FXXU1APD3 but the Baseband version is still showing: G930FXXU1APD1. Is this correct. Does the Baseband version not update with the latest firmware?
Many thanks again.
Best CSC for VOLTE - VIDEO CALLING - ATT
I am on ATT Network using the G935F - and I am curious if there is a CSC I can flash that would enable me to take advantatage of ATT VOLTE and VIdeo Calling from the main phone dialer apk?
I know I can use hangouts - but it would be simpler to use the regular dialer and I really would like the benefits of VOLTE if I can get them....
I understand that not all providers or all areas offer VOLTE or Native Video Calling for that matter but I beleive that some do - I Just don't knwo which ones?
Any suggestions?

It really depends on the used firmware you installed. It is very possible that PD1 is the baseband version.
Don't worry about it. If it all works fine, do not mess with it.
Change CSC make service codes (i.e. *#0*#) impossible to use.

Can i install 935F stock rom on 935FD Device.

hello, i am from India. I recently bought a new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Duos. FEW DAYS AGO (ABOUT 2-3 DAYS) i updated it to latest version over OTA. I tried to root it by CF Auto root but something broke and it transferred my device in bootloop so i downloaded and flashed a stock rom G935FXXU1APB6_G935FOLB1APB6_XSP_FULL using Odin. My device started but i figured out that the rom is Singaporian version and its a March upgrade and i could not update it also. I am also having wifi connectivity issues. My old rom was perfect. It was preinstalled by Company. Please help me or please give me a link of my model's official stock rom rather than Sammobile ( i tried sammobile but my connection refuses and also speed too low )

Download and install USB drivers for Samsung Galaxy S7 edge in your computer.
Make sure to take backup of any important files on your smartphone.
Enable USB debugging option by pressing Menu > Settings > Applications. Navigate and tap on Developer Options to ensure that USB Debugging is enabled.
Ensure that your Galaxy S7 edge carries more than 70% of charge.
Highly Credible Leak Points At Early Samsung Galaxy S7 Launch Date
Unzip Odin on your computer and install it.
Unzip firmware zip file in the same folder as Odin.
Switch your Samsung Galaxy S7 edge off and boot it in Download mode: press and hold Volume Down and Power together and then press the Home key. OR, check how to enter Download Mode.
Open Odin and connect your smartphone with your computer. When connected successfully, one of the ID:COM boxes will turn yellow with the COM port number after a while. (In case you don’t get it, try another USB port. If that doesn’t help either, then re-install USB drivers).
On your Odin, select files:
Click on AP and select file with AP in its name.
Click on CP and select file with MODEM in its name – ignore if you didn’t get any such file.
Click on CSC and select file with CSC in its name – ignore if you didn’t get any such file.
Click on PIT and select the. pit file – ignore if you didn’t get any such file.
Click on BL and select file with BL in its name – ignore if there is no such file.
Make sure to check Auto Reboot and F.Rest Time. Check Re-Partition only if you selected the. pit file.
Click on Start to initiate the update process.
When Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update installation is successfully completed, you will get a PASS message.
I don't know if factory reset is necessary after flash, but I did it, just in case. I attached Odin which I used.

Unless you know what you are doing and about files source/files you are flashing, then not much.. but if you are not sure, then Smart Switch can download official f/w for your specific model & flash it for you.. simplest, no brainer to recover to official f/w.

Official Android 7.0
Hi
I have G935FD device, which I recently bought (the second hand one).
I notice that I have issue with GPRS data transfer... it looks like, from time to time when GPRS is active SMS sending is not possible any more (up to next power OFF of device) .
At that time I'm able to see only one GPRS range indicator.
I'm able to receive calls from both SIM cards.
I did not check am I able to call from both of them.
According to my google investigations issue is pressent in Android 6.0, which I have right now.
Case shall be easy, I need to update to Nugat verision and it is all , but...
1) If I'll check firmware update on my mobile I have inforamtion that it is the latest version of firmware G935FXXU1APD1// G935FXXU1APB6. what is not true
2) I started to looking for official Android 7.0 version. to get it, I have to have CSC code. Phone info application have cleared out all CSC code. *#1234# don't work - "error message connection error or wrong MMI code".
Device type is hero2lte
Product name is hero2ltexx
Product code is SM-G935FZSU - this looks like oryginal information .
Bootloader : G935FXXU1APB6
PDA Version: G935FXXU1APD1
Baseband Version" G935FXXU1APB6
CSC Version :
Kernel Version
3.18.14-7538748
[email protected]#1
64-bit
knox warrantz void: 0x0
Does any one know what can be the oryginal CSC code for such device?
Can you tell me where can I find oryginal Android 7.0 which will works fine in Poland ?
Thanks in advance.
Hi
Below information for anyone who have the same issue as I.
I download the newest official ROM for Android 7.0 for Poland (G935FXXS1DQHI).
I used ROM for single sim, not dual sim.
Since that I don't have any issue with SMS or GPRS any more.
MMI codes started to work back.
I still have dual sim .
Simple , now it works better !!
I got a used GT-935T phone very recently in India, which was still running android 6.0. On browsing these forums, I found out that we could flash stock rom on it without rooting, so I did so using Odin. I flashed the stock rom of Android 7.0 for t-mobile 935T, which was what my phone was supposed to be.
On further browsing, I also discovered, that we could flash any stock rom on the phone, irrespective of the region. So I decided to download the latest stock rom for India 935fd. I did so, but whenever I'm trying to flash it using Odin, I'm getting an error - repartition failed.
I've not checkd the repartition option.
can someone help me?

I Successfully Changed the CSC of My SM-N986B/DS (Exynos)

WARNING: THIS PROCESS WILL RESET YOUR PHONE TO FACTORY STATE. BACKUP YOUR FILES BEFORE YOU PROCEED. YOU MAY DOWNLOAD SAMSUNG SMART SWITCH HERE
I finally got my CSC back!
What I needed:
1. Official July Security Firmware - Because the CSC Changer will only work if you have a firmware lower than the August Security Firmware
Since I wanted the XTC firmware back, I downloaded the OXM firmware with multi-CSC N986BXXU1ATGI file here Warning, very slow download speed.
Since the security policy for both firmware hasn't changed yet, I was able to downgrade my firmware, from the current one on my phone N986BXXU1ATH3 to the older one N986BXXU1ATGI
@Aresnalove confirmed that he was able to downgrade from the September patch without issues.
You can use ANY one of these firmware. They're basically 'OXM with multi CSC
MEGA Links:
XTC-N986BXXU1ATGI
INS-N986BXXU1ATGI. Big Thanks to @keieva
GDRive Link:
XTC-N986BXXU1ATGI
2. CSC Changer App (Windows Installer). Here are additional links containing a compressed format that you can choose from if the first link is not working: 2nd LINK and 3rd LINK. (Disable your antivirus before downloading as it's being tagged as a virus.)
3. Odin 3.14.4 to flash the firmware. (Instructions here, thanks to @henklbr)
What I did:
• Removed my SIM cards from my phone.
• Disabled my antivirus before installing the CSC App changer in Windows.
• Disconnected my PC from the internet.
• Flashed the N986BXXU1ATGI firmware and proceeded with the phone setup without inserting my SIM cards and connecting to the internet.
• Installed the CSC Changer and followed this video - Your phone will update the Store App. You need to connect to the internet temporarily. As soon as the update is
complete, disconnect. The 'theme' should show "Try Now" to work. If you continue to be connected to the internet, it will show "Buy" and it will not work.
• I selected the 'Android 10' option in the Legal setting (You will see 3, one for Android 8, Android 9 and Android 10)
• After selecting my CSC and the phone restarted, I got my CSC back to XTC from DBT where I got stuck
• I again flashed my phone to the latest firmware N986BXXU1ATH3.
• Turned back on my PC's antivirus.
• The *#272*IMEI# code works again on my phone on the latest XTC firmware, (see attachment for available CSC codes). Kindly get back and check if this code works after successfully changing your CSC.
TIPS:
• After changing to your choice of CSC, check first if the features that you want are there and working. This will give you another chance to change your CSC using the CSC App changer.
• If you are satisfied with the results, you can then upgrade your phone to the latest Security patch by downloading the file for your phone using Frija and then flash with Odin.
• Some prefer a full reset of their phone, others prefer to keep their files and settings. If you want to keep your files and settings use the HOME_CSC instead.
CAVEAT: This process worked for me. Again, I would like to reiterate that I needed to downgrade my firmware to pre-August 1 Security Upgrade for the CSC app changer to work.
This process will not trip Knox because you are flashing an official firmware and the CSC app did not affect Knox as well. OTA update works. Your chosen CSC will be retained even after an update - unless of course, you decided to change your CSC manually.
I would like to thank @tribalfs for giving me an idea how I could change my CSC, specific for the Exynos version.
If anyone knows where I could upload the N986BXXU1ATGI firmware aside from MEGA, kindly let me know. Or you can upload and share, too!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For those who want the built-in Call Recorder feature, these CSC's have them:
INS
THL
SLK
XXV
Be warned though that if you change your CSC, some of your service provider's features may not work properly. Do it at your own risk.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A favor to ask from those who successfully changed their CSC using this process. Can you kindly check with the default Caller App if the *#272*IMEI# code now works? I will update this list. Thanks!
1. XTC (Pre and with Sept 1 Update) works
2. THL (Pre and with Sep 1 update) does NOT work (thank you @ChoSmile)

Kindly share the faster link for the firmware so we could help everyone. I appreciate it. Thanks!

Link to download the July firmware. This is for CSC Code INS which is part of the Multi CSC and works with BlinkThinks process above.

Hey guys, does anybody know will this method make samsung pay work? I've tried changing firmware to the country where it is supported, but odin always got stuck at super.img, I almost turned my phone to a brick. Fortunately installing original firmware back fixed the problem. Then I've tried the resetting with sim from the country where samsung pay is supported, but it didn't work either.
thanks, 6 hours waiting to download July patch FW. Two threads with IDM 300kb/s
I should have changed csc right away with new phone week ago (with july patch)

Can September security firmware be downgraded?
Hi,
I have already the September security patch applied based on my initial attempt to change the csc to general country version instead of carrier firmware. Can I still downgrade to the old firmware or will I brake my phone?
That's The software version:

[mention]BlinkThinks [/mention] Thanks for the guide. It works!

The problem is I couldn't find a July update for my phone's (N985F/DS) original firmware on sammobile.com. And flashing another regions firmware went horrible last time. It's seem like i'm out of luck.
