After 6 months of use, the TX was so poor, that it rendered the phone useless. I sounded to the other person(s) on the call, like a first generation digital phone with and undeveloped network (warble, under water digital echo with cutting out).
Motorola has had the phone in there possession for 7 working days and they have not even begun to work on it.

It's really nice. I buyed Nokia 1 today. Do some calls in 3G and I hear everything without problem

A very good device, but usb host problem?
Had a lot of call quality issues with this device. People say I sounded like I was underwater. I would also get poor reception when my Nexus 5X would get fine reception. I just sent my Nokia 6.1 back and they said they found and issue and are sending me back a different phone. We'll see if the new phone improves it all - but compared to other phones I can test with (Pixel XL, Nexus 5X), my Nokia 6.1 has had clearly the worst call quality

Seemed pretty standard on my end, but the person I was calling said it sounded like I was on a landline - after about 45 minutes of talking.

Call quality is ok, however not loud as compare to my previous honor 9 lite and moto z2 force.

I don't think so you will face any issue about call. This solid mid range mobile phone have good consistency.
