Battery last for 6 hours maximum while playing PUBG mobile on graphic: Smooth and Ultra frame rate.

In my case, battery lasts 7-12 maybe (because AOSP battery log is very limited in terms of viewing some infos) by playing PUBG with Smooth+90FPS, mostly streaming on youtube, scrolling on Facebook and Chrome just by using mobile data... It's pretty GOOD and paired with 33w is fantastic

Bad SOT
Can PUBG players or COD players post their SoT and mention their graphics configuration?
PUBG Mobile
Graphics: Smooth
Frame rate: Ultra (It reach 60 Hz)
I played for 3 hours stright.
And I get 5 hours SoT (almost) .. check screenshots
I'm disappointed because the phone was advertised as a gaming phone ( one of the main features) so the battery should perform better.
I don't see any comments here.. where are the gamers? Kindly share your SoT
Thank you

Does 12h30min of SOT qualify as heavy use along 24h? At home, low brightness, 5ghz wifi all the time. Mostly social networks, web browsing, a few videos on youtube, no gaming. Battery went from 100% to 6%, then back to 26%. (In the end I gave it a quick boost, proving the original charger and original cable can provide 20% battery in 10 minutes when the battery is low.)

i played pubg on the highest settings for and hour and half and it used 20% so thats great
M5 8.4 Chinese lte
I've been at a trade show and using Wi-Fi sporadically searching stuff and used 22% over the course of 24 hours
Really really good, ive been using it hooked up to external hard-drives (ones that use more than 500ma!) and it doesn't make much of a dent at all! It's better than my previous laptops still!
I've taken this on a 7 hour flight and was watching Plex offline movies for 6 hours. Had about 15% battery life left which to me is excellent.

Average at its best. No matter how long a screen on time is, say, 9h, it still won't last a day, without charging almost everyday.
The heavy usage experience in this device is not pleasant for me. Especially multitasking is not that great when you a couple of tabs open on chrome an several other apps in the background, which use internet connection. But that's just for me; I am a heavy heavy user. For general heavy usage this device is decent.
I use the 3/32 version of this device.
3Ram32Rom Device
MIUI installed (XEU with stock chinese kernel)
I'm travelling often and almost all day screen on, G; maps, earth, chrome netflix, youtube, music play, all day, playing PUBG and watching movies 2 hours or more ;
I fully charged the battery yesterday morning 9 till now it's 02 tomorrow night, it's still 13 percent left,
I've installed magisk, and with smartpack kernel manager I set the low memory killer to very light for multitasking, and ondemand governor at 1900 mhz cpu,
well, I think up on my use daily, MIUI is better than stock, battery and smooth. Thx for the thread
Stock ROM definitely does not provide the best experience. Most I got was about 7.5 hours of screen on time with mostly on Wi-Fi but some Mobile Data and auto brightness. 4000 mAh does perform better with custom ROMs.

I have use this device in the same form that I have use my last device (oneplus 3T), on a heavy usage, the battery last about 7 hours, 27.4% of battery power is drained by the screen, 23.3% by PUBG mobile, 11.4% goes to Android system, 6.4% got eaten by Pokemon Go App and the rest 31.5 distributes on messaging apps, facebook, intagram, camera, and standby. I would have expected at least 9-10 hours under this usage, but that was not the case. On a standby and more light usage, I easily got to two days of battery life. Would have expected more of a the house "flagship".

Phone heats quickly
I am not a heavy user, but I do play Pubg sometimes for 30mins straight, never experienced any heat on my device. This was with game booster on.
After playing Shadowgun Legends many time, I only get 3:30 hour screen on time with the game from 100% to 0%.
I play game each time on Ultra High with 60 FPS settings, brightness 30-40%, audio volume 20-40% on speaker. Battery drain rate during gameplay is higher on Shadowgun Legends.
So, is it normal to get that much of Screen On Time with this game on higher settings and also, device get heated.

I am heavy smart phone user. Yesterday I got like 40 calls, 50 answered mails and I was constant on bluetooth listening music with iFi xCan. Battery was around 40 percent after such usage.
In the meantime I spent some 2 hours reading articles on Medium and Feedly. In similar case my XS Max is usually dead or near dead. I am quite okay to leave K20 Pro during the night out of charger.
Veeery nice battery life (where, for example Pixel 3XL sucks and Mix 3 as well).
I have played Asphalt 9 for nearly 3 hours during the whole day, Along with 1-2 hours of Youtube and TicToc.. Web browsing for 2 hour s or so.. Oh and Quora for hour or so..
Have nearly 7 hours of screen on time despite all this..

Yesterday, the ambient temperature is around 40'C. I was using the Vlog mode video shooting and suddenly the device got hot and warning appeared. I am scars and suddenly off my device. My old phone is Mi8 lite and I have never experienced such thing before.
Playing downloaded videos drains battery as same as poco f1 or better. (8% per hour)
120hz gaming looks really cool and drains faster ofc.
1hour of playing geometry dash drains about 20% of battery.
I hope they add per app refresh rate option for some games that can't handle 120hz.
FYI
The OS recognizes the apps on the screen and adjusts the refresh rate automatically. Basically 120hz is enabled but video players such as MX player are capped at 60hz and streaming apps are not (for scrolling experience?)
Recents screen uses 90hz.
Playing PUBG at 60fps and gyroscope always on, eats up around 40% per hour.
