What device? You will probably have better luck asking in the specific section. Also, it may not be necessary to port an entire ROM if you can use a Generic System Image; many devices released with Android 9 support GSIs, which you use alongside the stock kernel.

Do you have TWRP on your device? We can try and see if a GSI will work.

Okay. Check out my guide here, start from Step 5, but instead of using an AOSP GSI, download a LineageOS GSI from here. I suggest using the arm64-bvS one. Download it to your computer, and extract the .img file from it. Then, flash that image to /system using my guide.
