Drained 1% overnight (9h), with Wifi and LTE on. Bluetooth connected to a smartwatch. Pretty great.

4% overnight (about 6 hours) drain with "clock on the screen" on and Wifi calling active.

I've been losing 10% overnight (8 hours) with AOD off. Wifi on. Any ideas?

Very bad for me, some 35% drained last night. Data, WiFi, BT all turned off.
Only once in the week I have had the device has the battery drain been acceptable overnight.

2% from 4am when I unplugged it; to 7am when I finally looked at my phone. Smartwatch is the only app showing up. Wifi on. With Ring and YouTube notifications showing on my phone. ****ing fantastic.

battery between 100% and 98% takes much longer to discharge. I suggest doing night standby tests when the battery is below 98%. for example: phone disconnected after full charge and the first 2% can give over 30 minutes SOT.
The battery in standby is much worse than in the Pixel 2 xl. It stays at 1,2-1.5% per hour. On the Pixel 2 xl, it was mostly below 1%, typically around 0.8% per hour. That's almost twice more.

Standby drain over a full day with commuting and running around a bit at work has the power consumption with the screen off at around 1.1%. I have a lot of email accounts and android wear synced though, so that might also increase power consumption.
Over night I generally lose way less, around 3% in 8 hrs.
I can't believe myself...
Went to bed at 2 in the night at 83% battery...
Woke up at 7.45 AM at 82% battery...
Just 01% drop...
Ofcourse both WiFi and mobile data were turned off...
Lost 6 percent in 7 hours idle with data and wifi off on 1st night.

I at night lose about 3% battery at 8-9h

There were little to no standby battery drain so far (wifi 10.8).
Mine also has little drain when asleep. I never shut it off, and use it for reading and web browsing for 1 - 3 hours a day, and I end up charging it weekly. Even after a week I have as much as 40% battery life left.
Almost no standby-drain with WiFi off, maybe 1% over a day. Pretty good!
Since the last EMUI update, my Mediapad M5 is going from 100% to 0% overnight. Went from 80% to 43% in a couple of hours during the day ... Been absolutely fine till this latest update, lasting for several days and often up to a week on a single charge. Anyone else seen this?

I've heard really bad things about standby drain with this phone -- gsmarena's review indicates it's really horrible.
Can anyone with the phone elaborate on how it is?

I charge my phone during the night and remove it from the charger when I wake up during the night (usually at 3am). After that it's just laying around until about 10am(weekend) and if I pick it up it usually has 99 or 100%(wifi and Bluetooth enabled all the time). Of course there is more drain if you are on mobile data but you will have enough juice for one day for sure. I'm currently on 5,5h SOT with 22% left. Phone has not seen a charger for 13h and 34min, I had wifi for 10h and no time without signal
Well, after I disabled gallery sync, standby is really good. ~1%/hr which is for me perfectly fine

You are right, forgot to tell that, that mi sync stuff drained the battery a lot
(Test done with sync disabled)
During my sleep time (11PM-8AM - airplane mode active) it lose around 1% every two hours.
Else it lose around 1% every hour.
I'm currently at 86% of battery after doing 45~60 minutes of internet (estimated at 3% of battery use) and 15 hours and a half since last charge

I lost 8% battery overnight between 1:00am nd 9:00 pm
considering this a 12 nm chipset the drain should be less...however i dont blame it as this is not stock android
My battery drains too much at night when my phone is not in use......I leave my phone 50-70 percent battery at night but in the morning only 5-6 percent battery remains
It will a fault in your phone when last night I keep my phone at 14% in the morning I saw 12% remaining it drains but that much I see regular 4-5 % drop whole night
Bad Battery Life
Recently after updating to color os 5.2 i am seeing a great drop in power. I keep my phone wake at night and everytime i use I always try to maintain keep 30-40% charge at night. Say i used all day, closed all apps and let it rest at 12pm but when i woke up at 9am or 10am charge drops 20~28% and previously in default OS which came out of the box. My battery charge used stay between 2-3 days after a single 3 hours full 100% battery charge. (Without heavy usage and browsing) but after the update it doesn't even stay for a day. And it drains quite fast with normal usage. After a 8 hours my battery percentage shows about 55% charge remaining. I'm having a doubt is it because of the battery or the heavy buggy ?? ColorOS 5.2 update.
***New***
ColorOS 6 battery is more pathetic than Oreo Based 5.2 COS

Anyonbe facing battery drain on standby due to maintly radio services and the following things
Hotspot
Bluetooth audio
Location
Google Play services
Also using data while travelling(sub par connectivity)
These literally eat away all my battery

2 nights in a row, my battery has decreased 5% each night over 7 hours of standby. The first night 99% to 94%, and the second 97% to 92%. Wifi connected, Bluetooth on.

No drain, sleeps like a baby. Around 0.5% drain
Standby drain is quite a lot worse than on my OP6 tbh. During night I lose 5% vs. 2% on my OP6. I also lose more during the day in standby. In 15 hours time I lost 40% with just only 2 hours SOT. No culprit in battery graph.
My standby at night is HORRIBLE. It was amazing on my 6T with only a few percent lost at night (6-7 hours). My 7T doesn't seem to go in to any sort of standby. It pretty much straight line drains the whole day with no distinction for night.
With my 6T I was often able to go 48 hours between charges with moderate usage. This one mows through battery at night.
Mine drains by about 5% overnight and i leave network, Bluetooth and WiFi on and i have also turned off Sleep Standby Optimisation to make sure any calls or alerts get though due to having elderly parents.

Same experience, although my battery drain during the night isn't that bad (5%), but still not good. My issue is mainly idle drain during the day.
Been at work past 12 hours. Lost 25%, and I barely used the phone (maybe 20min). This wasn't the case with my OP6. Weird.
I lost 20% from 12:15 am to 7:30 am. It was at 33% when I put it down and 13% when I got up. I cleared out all recent apps before turning off the screen and going to bed.

I don't know how long you've had it, but I've noticed that the battery is significantly better after a week or two.. I think it's something with android 10. Right now I'm at 10hrs since charge. 1h 15m use. I've lost only 10%.
Last week it was the double.

I noticed a really high battery drain through wakelock auf WhatsApp gcm. I've seen that it prevent my Phone going into deep sleep. I have to switch off battery optimization because of stopping the push service for incoming messages. Are there other persons with this problem?
