Giroscope / Câmera issue - Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Questions & Answers

Hello guys, every time i take a photo, the image appears inverted or somewhere or when i'm playing a game like mobile legends, my screen rotates non-stop even slightly tilting the screen, it's a problem that i tried some solutions, such as:
Disable google photos, change rom with clean flash, change gallery, install other cameras and some other things, does anyone have a solution?
I'm currently on ion 2.9, firmware 11.0.1 global rom.
Thanks in advance for your attention =)

[Q] Display driver??

Hi everybody!
Messing around with different firmwares, including my port of ARHD 2.0 for i9505, I have faced strange situation:
On Verizon's (and all ROMs based on it) firmwares when scrolling up and down pages with text - the text becames blurred, thin lines even disappear! But when installing ROM for i9505 - everything becomes really smooth. You can compare two videos here:

Does anybody know what files are corresponding for video-subsystem in ROM? The only thing I was changing during my demo was System partition with different ROMs. Any help will be really appreciated.
Check if you have red glow on blacks, on those firmware where no smearing effect.
This is display bug, people say
P.S: Можешь свой экран на минимальной яркости сфоткать, белый фон?
Can you make a photo of your screen, white blank, min bridghtness?

Look for the Adreno section.

Why the camera of CM9 have so many bugs? (L3)

In many applications I have had problems with the E400 camera with Cyanogen 9. Some bugs like crashes, no visualization, etc
For exemple, the MX Camera available on Play Store, we can't use any effects.. Every time we need a processed image from camera, everything we see is just a black screen or the app crash...
I also noticed that the image of the stock rom camera is better than Cyanogen, the fps on movie recording is also better.
So, I think it's a good area for developers work on Cyanogenmod.
Sorry for my terrible english --'

Upside down pictures

I have a weird experience with the stock camera that I have discovered recently. I'm running official stock ROM - just everything right out of the box. I was backing up some photos to my PC when I noticed that some of the pictures were upside down, yet when I viewed them in Google Photos, they are in their proper orientation.
I tried experimenting last night. I tried taking a selfie with my right hand. The photo shows up correctly in Google Photos, social media share, thumbnails in Explorer (Speed Software non rooted version of Root Explorer), and when transferred to PC.
I tried with my left hand, and I was able to replicate the issue. I thought it was just an auto-rotate tinkering. I always auto-rotate enabled on my phone. I tried enabling and disabling it. The stock camera seems to auto-rotate on its own regardless of whether the general option is toggled or not as some of the GUI of the stock camera rotates on its proper orientation whether I hold the phone with my right or left hand.
My wife have a Mi A2 Lite, and we tried replicating the issue. Her camera works fine as whether she's holding the phone with her left or right hand, the actual photo isn't upside down.
I tried installing Open Camera, and the results is pretty much the same with Mi A2 Lite so it is definitely in the stock Mi A1 camera app.
It's kinda a minor thing since backed up photos in Google Photos and shared images in social media are in their proper orientation. It's just kinda mildly annoying that the actual photos, when backing them up in PC, are upside down.
PS:
I just want to know if somebody else has noticed this. Thanks! Probably, I'm gonna play around with Open Camera for a while.

It's really easy to miss because apps within the phone or uploading them to social media like IG show the correct orientation, but when you copy the file to your computer, shots taken with left hand or if you position your phone horizontally where the power and volume rockers are facing down and the USB port is facing left.
This only happens with the stock camera app. I can't replicate it with Open Camera.
I'll try to get some screenshots later.

I know what you mean, the same happens for me with GCAM PIXEL 2 MOD on RR ROM final build with Moun Kernel 6.2 .
Not really a bug for me.

I just find it weird and mildly annoying. I can easily rotate photos once they are copied in my PC though. Probably, I'll try Open Camera for now.

Help needed to fix camera and display brightness

Dear fellow xda members, I recently bought a OnePlus 6T as was tired of the Samsung's. I wanted something with more room to play so to speak. So I got myself the 6T. But I ran into 2 very annoying problems. The first one is that I cannot take video's and play them back. I am on OS 9.0.5. When I take a video of my kids and after that go to the gallery, there is a black square and when I want to play it, I get the error message "couldn't play video" . I can take pictures and view them. I installed Open Camera from the playstore and that app couldn't do anything. It only shows a black screen and won't take a picture or video.
The 2nd problem is that the screen is too dark a lot of the time when on adaptive brightness, is there a way to tweak this?
I really hope someone can help me with especially the video problem.
Just reporting that videos from both stock camera and Open Camera work great for me. Maybe you need to do a factory reset as it sounds like you have multiple issues with the camera.
As for the adaptive brightness I feel it is way too bright personally but do not know of a way to adjust it any. I have searched for any way to change it with no luck.

[10]RadicalQuack issue : 4:3 stretched Camera in 3rd party apps

Hello,
I have seen this issue pop up on a few phones and different ROMs, but recently I installed this new ROM on my Samsung J730f, and for once a custom ROM for that phone was actually stable and fully functioning ( [10]RadicalQuack ).
However, the only issue I came across is something I never had on any other ROM, is that some 3rd party apps (WhatsApp, Snapchat) use the camera in 4:3 and stretch it to full screen which looks absolutely horrible. If i take a photo, the preview looks 4:3 stretched but the actual picture looks normal, but when I film a video it just looks the same as the preview. Some apps like instagram function properly, the cam is in 9:16, and ofc the normal Samsung camera app functions as intended as well.
I tried describing the issue as best as I could in hope someone has an idea on how I can fix this.
Thanks for reading.
