About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. And now we are based on AOSP on oreo. The main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as much as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. I hope that you'll all love this project, and help us, shape it even more better. Meanwhile, all of our sources are publicly available on our Github. Still better than stock camera.
Very good at low light.
The latest version of gcam need camera API2 to be activated.
But the latest build of redmi 4x oreo still not support camera API2, maybe have connection with permissive selinux bug.
I don't know if this rom build already compatible with permissive selinux or not.
Need someone test

hello,
this is my first time customizing my android phone with a ROM and i choose your version.
I've followed the procedure and, (after getting crashes and fixing them by reinstalling magisk)
now im at the start setup mode (Evolution launches fine) where you can log into your google account, connect to your wifi ...
however i can't do any of this because i simply can't type! My keyboard is not showing up. Everytime i click on a field to start typing , the google voice detection interface keeps showing up. (I installed opengoogleapps)
I don't know if this is a common mistake for newbies users like myself, a problem installing opengapps, or a bug in the ROM.
What can I do?

I got the same problem here. Anyway, this ROM is like advanced Pixel Experience ROM. Feel the Experience, but more features and tweakable. Nothing found such a bug since I installed it.

July build was terrible. It doesn't even allow you to finish setting up the phone. Display turns into black and you can't do anything but install other rom or older builds. Is it fixed now?

Why you download and install July build instead of install the latest build?

I'm not downloading it. I'm just sharing my experience last July and I want to make sure if August build is ok now before I install it...

Hi, I had the following questions:
1. I flashed the ROM twice, one as the instructions told me to, and the other by flashing the latest official firmware for rosy and then flashing the ROM. I had downloaded the 1 August build, and when I checked for the security patch in settings, there were two different values for the two different flashes, the usual flash showed security patches of 1 August 2019, and the flash with the official firmware shows 5 June 2019. I'm asking this because I didn't find this issue anywhere else, as I flashed pixel experience with the official firmware (whose build date must be quite old) on a OnePlus Two, and it has August 2019 security patches.
2. Is it not possible to update to the 10 August build? I'm attaching screenshots for your reference.
Other than this, thanks for building a great ROM!

the updater keeps saying that there is a new update, but it's the same version as the installed build. it even has the same date. and if i try to update it, it says that it can't be installed. a minor annoyance, other than that the rom is fine.

When connected to PC, all the usb options were disable. Only charging, not file transfer protocols enabled. Any workarounds or fix wld be really helpful.
Also, is magick flashing really necessary. I am not interested in rooting my phone.

Try, go developer option > usb default option > choose your wanted option for now

Another problem.... Sometime application opening quickly but sometimes taking very very long time to open....always open normally after restart device.
And camera flash also not working.

Good rom so far I have only detected that the radio application does not work properly, when wanting to use it it closes, hopefully it could be repaired since it is the only rom that I have seen that keeps the radio, for everything else stable, although it occasionally fails the FOD

i suggest you to apply a theme more similar to ken kaneki soul... more black and less pink. more black, less with. with stock a11font and icons set. but this is only my personal taste

it's quite normal that fm radio don't work in avery custom roms... this is not a real bug...

There are tones of customisations u can change accent to anything u want and even make them gradient too but because our theme is oink I have to give pink accent ss

After couple od days I'd say its better than crdroid.
Edit: BT calling doesnt work for me. Can someone confirm this?
For me, battery lasts one day, with about 6hr of sot. 90%4g+bt on.

Hi, for me now that's the best room by the moment, no bugs only the problem with the FM radio, is not, very customizable, very fast, not too much battery consumption, really fast install from twrp recovery... From Sunday whit it and not any problems... Thanks for all developers
