Where I am, San Diego, there is 5G coverage but it's only in limited areas. When I see 5G on my Z Flip 5G, which is more frequent than I expected, I really don't experience a huge speed increase. It's more gimmicky at this point. But the signal strength has been very good with the phone. I think it's one of the most sensitive phones I've had. Certainly more sensitive than my old Note 8.

I can definitely vouch for this phones reception. I would have to say on a scale of one to a 10 I would rate it about a six so far I will need to do some further testing. I'll get back to you guys with the further update.
Definitely stronger reception than the og Z-play. I can get service in my workplace basement now. Throughput is good but not perfect. 8/10.

No problems anywhere I go, supports 600 mhz with Tmobile
I'm with T-Mobile, just switched up from a galaxy s8, and have experienced somewhat stronger reception overall. I live in the country, and my bedroom is in a weak spot where the s8 couldn't maintain call quality. The G8 is significantly stronger and clearer in this spot, and all around the area. Very happy!

I mean look at the bands your carrier supports, because in Colorado TMobile only gets 4g on the phone.

I got the phone free with swap from visible wireless. I've actually been really impressed on how well it connects to the cellular network. It stays connected on road trips where some of my other 4G phones disconnect.
