Need help!! the system has been destroyed. I dont know whats happening - Redmi K20 / Xiaomi Mi 9T Questions & Answers

Hello guys,
I have a Mi 9T Pro Global Version and today I received the MIUI 12 update. I didnt really like the update so I decided to go back on MIUI 11. I downloaded the Mi PC Suite (c.mi.com/thread-2224746-1-0.html) and did a backup. I downloaded the MIUI 11 Global Rom ( c.mi.com/de/miuidownload/detail?device=1700361) and updated it throught the PC Suite (selected the MIUI 11 ROM). Now my phone doesnt turn on and there is the message "The system has been destroyed". And I can access the fastboot but I dont know what it is.
I'm really desperate and dont know what to do..
Please can someone help me!

did you choose 9T pro ROM?
Download mi flash, turn phone in fastboot vol - and power pressed for a few seconds). Connect phone to PC, get ROM for fastboot and your model, flash
You can tey xiaomiMiTool v2 to do it with just a couple clicks

I did the same thing today. Easiest solution (which worked for me)
Mi unlock - login on same account as on phone, and unlock device (might take few attempts - for me successfull was 3rd, before that I had weird errors in Chinese)
When unlocked, then use mi flash to flash v11 and check last option on right bottom (full and lock?)
After that my phone came to life again

Unable to Unlock Bootloader... Please HELP!!!! :(

hi, i have tried every possible ways to unlock the bootloader, which i found on web, but still i am unable to unlock it.. :crying: i have unlock permission, MiFlashUnlock isn't working after 50%.. found on web that i have to flash china developer rom first then it will work, but MiFlash isn't working, whenever i click the 'flash' button within 2s it shows flash done but nothing happens to the device.. download mode/edl mode also not working, whenever i enter this mode the phone automatically rebooting.. please guide me what to do.. trying different methods from last 4-5days, it feels really frustrating now, but i want to unlock the bootloader.. please help me with a proper guide.. thank you
You don't need to flash any Dev ROM. Just use older MiUnlock tool. Before trying, update your Mi forum account, log in to mi cloud, update phone's driver and then try. If it still stuck at 50%, then just wait for some more days. It'll unlock normally.
About edl mode problem, I'm having the same problem now. Please inform me if you get any solution.
Make sure you login to the mi cloud + mi account on your phone + mi flash unlock using your mobile phone number that you used to get the unlock code. I had Global Rom and was stuck at 50% but unlocked with Global Dev ROM. Coincidence or not? I don't know, worth a try.. If you're on the Global ROM you can flash Global Dev through the updater app.
yes their database isn't updated i guess.. i think i have to wait few more days!

Redmi pro rom problem

Hi everyone!
I have bougth a Redmi Pro on Gearbest and it came with Chinese/English Version of MIUI.
After a week of usage, i turned off my xiaomi and when i turned back on, it stucked on a Mi logo. Far as i discovered searching on web, it was a bug that other peopel have reported too.
I took a opportunity of having this bug to fix, to put other rom on the phone. A rom with Portuguese language witch is my mother lang.
I tried to put the new rom via "SP Flash took" with the fastboot mod but without success.
I requested the unlocking on Xiaomi Unlocking site and when they repplyed and i connected the xiaomi to the computer, the program (XiaomiMiFlash) gave me an error message telling ""Couldn´t verify device. Current account is diferent from the account info in the device"
No i can´t do nothing with the phone.
Can you guys have some idea how can i solve this?
Thank you all!
There is a good chance that the phone is already unlocked.
What was the problem with fastboot? Maybe drivers issue?
Have you tried flashing TWRP? If it takes then the phone is unlocked and you can proceed with flashing the xiaomi.eu or globerom.

Tks 4 the support!
About the Fastboot i putted the phone on fastboot mode and i disabled the Driver Signature Enforcement on Windows. I connected the phone to the computer and started to run the SP Flash Tool. After the process was completed it wont gave me any result because the phone still stucked on Mi logo..
I did'n tried the TWRP because in every tutorial tells me that i need to go to the Developer Mode and activate the USB debugging i can not access to that because the phone don't give me more than the Mi logo.
hmm the fastboot method should have worked. Have you tried it on another computer, maybe 32bit windows?
When finished flashing with miflash in fastboot did it say it was ok at the end or did it give you an error? Als tried to reboot a few times after flashing without usb cable in the phone?

I'm out of ideas at this point.
I had some trouble with fastboot that my phone did restart when in fastboot mode.
Then i had to change the order of plugging in the cable and starting the program but after that all worked.
No idea what next ...
I had this issue with a Redmi 3. I can't remember the exact solution but I believe you have to have the developer ROM installed in order to unlock the bootloader. Maybe if you search for an anterior model such as the Redmi 3 you will find more information on how to load your ROM. I'm sure that it's the same method for most Xiaomi phones. Good luck!
I heard about do a Hard Reset but i dont know how to do that because i cant access to the OS of the xiaomi.
Is there a way to do a hard reset with the xiaomi stucked on Mi logo?
Tks!
Happy 2017 for all!
I tried to put my phone one Recovery Mode but it is blocked. Its like the phone on this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTzdQpex7BQ
How can i unlock this?
I never could get into the xiaomi recovery either but i managed to flash twrp through fastboot though.

Hi
Does your problem with sp flashtools and flashing the ROM be solved ?
Sent from my Redmi Pro
I had this problem, but I'd installed TWRP already. But you shouldn't need USB Debugging on to flash TWRP. If you manage to flash TWRP, flash a new ROM (I recommend xiaomi.eu (I think they have Portuguese)) and wipe the Dalvik cache, /cache, and /data (you probably won't have to wipe /data/media).
Miui themes
Sorry will start new item
Have you tried a different cable, that is why mine wasn't recognized at first.
I'm having the same problem here. The phone rebooted itself when I changed the locale, and hung at the Mi logo. I already had TWRP flashed. I also took the opportunity to install a new ROM; the Global Dev ROM. It installed with no errors and I wiped the Dalvik, cache, etc. Still hangs at the Mi logo, but this time without the little loading dots at the bottom. Any suggestions?
Update: I can bring it back to the original state with the loading dots and "powered by Android" at the bottom with a backup I took before flashing the new rom, but still no progress.
I managed to restore my phone using the video:
Flash Xiaomi Redmi Pro Using SP Flash Tool [Locked Bootloader]
I can't post links since I don't have enough posts here yet, but search for it on Youtube.
Update: It seems like the unlocking permissions on my account have been retroactively rejected, I wonder if that has something to do with it. I also can't seem to find the Global ROM for the Redmi Pro anymore, just the China one. Does anyone have a link for the official Global ROM on the Xiaomi site?
Update 2: Suddenly I have unlock permission again, without reapplying, so that's cool. I installed the Eu HMPro ROM, everything's working well so far.

You could try dowloading the official rom and then download the CHINESE version of mipc suite then enter fastboot and connect the phone
Normally the chinese mi pcsuite automaticly detects the phone is in fastboot mode, you could use google translate to translate it all just choose redmi pro on model selector (the top selection bar)the text there is untranslateable just choose the one that says pro
And then under it chose the one that translate to chinese
After That there's two tick box under it, choose the ROM you downloaded
After that chose the one that translate to install brush package, if it doesn't work choose the download brush package next to it
Thus method worked for me when my phone bricked hope it helps you

May be you can try this one (different stock 20S rom) I think:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74128632&postcount=40
Now flash vendor 020s (batyan/bangood).
Quote:
2) 5.8.020S (firmware via fastboot) - Download the firmware (exactly as received from Banggood). There is Russian language and Google Play, there are no Chinese applications. The optimal version for those who want to install a custom recovery and root. Unlocking the bootloader is possible.
Instruction:
In the off state, hold down the Volume - and the power button to enter the fastboot mode. Connect the phone to the computer and start Start.bat. The installation will start automatically and the phone will reboot itself.

No Fastboot mode? I think it just need Fastboot/download mode to do it:

Might have bricked my Mi9T (non-pro) - Bootloop, XiaoMiTool V2

**EDIT**: Had to send the phone back as the bootloader was locked and nothing was flashing. I believe they EDL flashed it and all is good now. Unlocked the bootloader on the new one just in case this happens again, I will be able to fix
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BACKSTORY:
Okay, so I recently updated to MiUI 12 and it wasn't great. My apps were crashing all the time and the general stability was not good. (this was around a week ago)
Then earlier today, my device just went into the boot screen (the colourful MiUI one) and stayed there for over 30 mins.
I forcefully restarted my phone using the volume buttons and it would go into the first "Mi powered by android" screen and then back into the colourful MiUI screen.
Then it would stay in the MiUI screen for a minute or so, and then restart itself, continually repeating the process.
At this stage, I had no custom recovery, had not tried to tinker with the phone (other than disabling some default apps through FastbootTools), and everything was fine until MiUI 12 came.
WHAT I DID:
I was able to access the default XiaoMi recovery (3.0?) and tried to wipe the data and restart, but nothing would change.
I tried to use the MiPC Suite after selecting in recovery, but it would recognise my device, even after updating to latest version.
I tried to use FastBootTools, but that would also not recognise my device.
I tried to use XiaoMiTool V2 (by Francesco Tescari), and that did recognise my device. I selected "my device is bricked" option and it did its thing, downloading and trying to sideload something. And then on the device, it got stuck at 4.99% with a message "You won't be able to turn on your device if you try to reboot it", and on the XiaoMiTool, the progress was at around 400% and said -70 seconds remaining, and around 40000MB / 3000 MB or something along those lines. Basically, **** was ****ed.
So I just let it sit there for a bit and then the XiaoMiTool V2 gave and error, "miui sideload failed adb execution exception adb sideload exited with status 1"
I had 3 options,
"Retry step"
"Go back to previous step"
"Cancel and abort"
I tried to search what the error was, but all of the results came from years ago, for different devices. So I clicked "Cancel and abort", only for the device to remain unchanged (4.99%, You won't be able to turn on your device if you try to reboot it), while the XiaoMiTool V2 went back to the start screen.
So I tried it again, the "my device is bricked option", and went through the same steps, and now it is stuck at "Pushing file to the device via ADB, ..., Starting MIUI sideload procedure".
Now I am stuck. My phone screen just says
"4.99%, You won't be able to turn on your device if you try to reboot it"
and my XiaoMiTool is stuck on the beginning sideload procedure.
Closing
If you managed to read this far, thanks, even if you don't have a solution. I appreciate anything that could help with this situation.
U could use the official tool by xiaomi and install your stock miui 12 rom, it's called miflash
Idk about downgrade if u wanted to flash miui 11 i heard there is some problems related to that so, always try official xiaomi tools first before trying other stuff
Ps : if it doesn't detect ur device in miflash there is a button called update or install driver I don't remember exactly press it and u should be fine

I tried to install the drivers, and it says it was successful, but it still does not recognise my device in fastboot mode. However, it does seem to recognise my device in the default recovery, when selecting the "Connect with MiAssistant", which prompts to use the Mi PC Suite.
Any other ways to help it recognise in fastboot mode?

Try another computer and another USB port...
The solution will benunder fastboot. You have to unclock your bootloader and flash a custom twrp or flash a stock rom using miflash
