[Q] Nexus 4 recognised as qualcomm device 'bricked'

Hi all, I posted several questions in the Nexus 4 Q&A thread but the situation has gone from bad to worse so decided it would be easier to just create my own thread...
This started off with being unable to boot the phone into the OS, Fastboot and Recovery mode were both accessible although wiping the cache failed to do anything it just returned unable to mount cache errors.
I then attempted to unlock the bootloader so I could load a custom recovery and try repairing, however upon selecting "yes" to unlock the phone the screen flashed the fastboot screen up then went blank and has stayed blank since, all I get now is a qualcomm usb device detected when I plug it in.
Installed Qualcomm drivers and the phone is recognised as being in download mode in QPST but from what i've read on this site so far it seems no one has been able to unbrick a Nexus 4 using QPST?
I read the unbrick guide using LGNPST, the software recognises a device being connected but it keeps prompting that the phone is off or unplugged even though windows is still detecting it as plugged in (qualcomm device detected, no noise for device unplugged etc).
Finally if I hold down vol-/+&power when connecting the USB lead the red LED comes on (solid) for about 3 seconds.
Do I have any option other than RMA?

[Help] System software not authorized! USB not recognized!

I have an AT&T Note 3 SM-N900A. I Installed X-Note Rom on it a while ago, but I recently have been having problems charging the phone and was going to take it to an AT&T Device Support Center to fix it. I tried to install the stock firmware N900AUCBMI9 using Mobile Odin, only to see the a boot up screen that says "System Software not authorized by AT&T has been found on your phone . Please turn off your phone and go to the nearest AT&T store for help." I tried to get the phone to connect to Odin on my Windows PC, but the computer will only say USB Device not recognized, and it won't show up in Odin at all. The weird thing is that it says USB device not recognized even while the Note 3 is off. The phone also stays on while in Download Mode when connected to USB with no battery.
I was wondering if there's anything I can do to at least ensure that the people at AT&T can't power up the phone and see this message. I should have just left it on the custom rom, this looks way worse. I'd rather have a hard brick at this point, at least they wouldn't be able to see it was rooted and flashed. I really screwed this up, if I knew I'd be having issues I would have never rooted it. Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks for your time.

[Q] Soft bricked I337 isn't recognized by pc

I'm on a rooted I337 that has been factory reset and under normal boot originally told me that normal boot has failed and was stuck with downloading.... but now tells me to select recovery mode in Kies also Download mode is still accessible. Before the crash I was working with a towelrooted 4.4.2. The problem is that nothing I do allows my computer to recognize it, It tells me that the device has malfunctioned and can't be identified. I've changed usb ports and cords and uninstalled/reinstalled drivers. Kies and Odin don't recognize it, but when I took it to a phone repair shop they were able to push a file that changed the normal boot error to what it is now, he gave it back to me to mess with and I could fix it if I could connect to it. Any help with this would be amazing
Thanks in advance
My I337 just got soft bricked earlier today, I made changes to my build.prop file to make it appear to be a Nexus 5, and rebooted just fine. I initially made a backup of the stock build.prop, so I decided to revert back to the stock file. when I rebooted, it gets frozen after the samsung screen and vibrates on any button press. I can boot into download and recovery mode, but I am unable to access the device via adb or kies.

Device not detected with Computer

Hello,
I'm posting to XDA Developers today because I'd appreciate to get some assistance with a Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) device.
A few weeks ago, a custom rom had been flashed but it unfortunately failed for some reason and now the device is stuck on a bootloop (Stuck on the Samsung logo), and it seems that it doesn't have any IMEI anymore (Field empty).
However, I can still access TWRP and the Download Mode.
The problem here, is that my device is not detected by the computer. When I put the device on Download Mode and connect it, Odin doesn't show it (Which would mean that the device isn't detected by the computer).
Also, when I put my device in sideload mode (With TWRP), it isn't recognized as well.
I've tried to reinstall the drivers but nothing worked.
Thank you all in advance for all your help,
Have a nice day.

Bootloop after replacing the battery

Hi everyone,
I need help with an HTC U Ultra. It's been about 6 months since I didnt turned on because the battery was dead, it wouldn't turn on or charge. Today I just changed the battery but the phone doesnt boot at all. It reboots endlessly on the screen with the HTC logo. I wanted to flash the official firmware but since I didn't enable USB debugging before and can't do it now because the phone won't boot. Will it be recognized by fastboot if I connect it via USB to a computer while being on the bootloader screen? Thanks in advance
