Its best in this price segment
Sound is crisp, clear and loud
9.5 out of 10

Got my MOF+ yesterday - switched from Moto G8 Power. Sound is excellent at higher volume levels without distortion ^^

Speaker is loud enough to hear my phone ring from a distance. Don't care about music from the speakers.
Call volume and quality is also great.

Bought today, really Amazing sound, no complain at all, :good:

No complains whatsoever
Reception is poor in our area, but it does a great job in spite of that
I switched to this phone from the 2014 Moto G (stereo speakers)
I miss only the balance when watching videos in landscape
Other than that, volume & clarity are very good
Earpiece is designed well; dust can be easily blown out

I tested at the IFA, which was a pretty loud environment and volume was similar to my Axon 7 despite the V30 having only a mono side speaker. Clarity was good, less distorted than Axon 7 at high volume, but hard to judge because the environment was loud. I will wait for GSMarena#s audio testing.
Pleasantly surprised by the speaker. Gets loud enough but I wouldn't say particularly louder than any phone. Pretty good quality however.
Seriously speaking... this is probably the only "meh" feature of this phone. Glad to hear the simple mono set up is fairly good for what it is though.
I used the G4 H815 since 2015 and comparing, the V30 is not so loud or clear. The G4 gets even louder if over a surface with the screen up. The curve let to the speaker space to "create" some kind of amplifying "sound box".
The 3.5 jack on the top is also a minus for my kind of use and my car setup...

Tested speakerphone, real nice and loud. Caller couldn't hear herself at all though she speaks fairly quiet.
Speakerphone has been excellent on the Razer Phone. People often tell me that they didn't know they were on speakerphone. I just wish with these fantastic speakers that I could turn the volume up about 20% higher than it allows. Sometimes you are talking to people that are using cheap bluetooth headphones that happen to have a microphone on it. These calls are where I need to turn off the speakerphone and put the phone physically to my ear because it's not loud enough.

Try Volume+ Free. It's the only app I could find that boosts in-call volume, and it does it quite well.
Love the speakers... better than my Moto X Pure Edition

Problem during call
I'm having a problem with my phone. When i make call using earphones and then during call when i remove it then speakers of the phone doesn't work for 5 to 6 seconds. I was not able to hear the person on the call. Is it just with my phone or anyone else is facing same problem.
While it can get quite loud it's only a mono speaker with slight distortion on max volume. Considering the price its above average but nothing amazing.

Agree with you.
I use RE Equalizer to improve the quality of the external speaker. It's quite better, works with musical players, video players, YouTube etc.., and no need to root.

sucked with the DTS setting on, better without.
while in a call you can pressw the volume up and select boost, that helps a lot...
as someone whos on the phone a lot (business owner) I usually carry a bluetooth earpiece, that works great,
It could be louder both for calls and video playback.

It's true that the DTS for the speaker have a live effect who is not quite good. But, DTS and Quad DAC are good both with a good headset.
The loudness is... satisfactory, but not exceptional. Clarity is atrocious. Sounds is flat, uninspiring, and completely lacking anything beside human speech range. Low trebles are overpronounced, highs are quiet, and bass is completely non-existent. In-call quality is surprisingly good, but turn on loudspeaker and ears bleed.
LG V30 has MUCH BETTER speakers, both for media consumption and calls.

Mediocre speaker
Probably my least favorite part of the Wing is the speaker. Unlike the LG Velvet, which sounds great, this single firing bottom speaker is not good. Lacks overall volume and depth.

I agree.
I really wish it had better speaker \s .
I was impressed with the speaker after reading these reviews. ( I read these reviews prior to purchasing the phone.)
Loudness is just fine for me. I used to have an LG v20 in this is louder and more crisp when talking on speakerphone.
The Sound is not that bad. is only that is not the same Quality of other device in the same price Range. is going to do the job but can't compete with the top dogs of that division (sound).
Try Volume Booster by GOODEV, this really helps to boosts the volume in LG Wing
The speaker volume is low compared to other phones and sometimes I don't hear phone calls when I'm outside, this is frustrating.
