Dasaita Max 10 - Android Head-Units

I hope I'm posting this in correct section. Has anyone got information on the newest Dasaita Max10-cp? I'm specifically curious about 1280x720 and Android 10
On AliExpress is says it's both 1024x600 and 1280x720 on same advertising page so it's very confusing.
Dasaita communication via messenger is very short answers and they don't seem to answer my questions maybe because there is a major language barrier.
It's supposed to have Android 10.0 among other things. If someone can provide some more info that would be great.

Apparently it's 1024*600 but 1280*720 is coming middle 9r the end of July. This is what I was told by Amazon Dasaita rep.

Hi,
I also bought this PX6 Max10 1280x720.
I found some issues after a few days of use:
1. When no music is playing I can ear a backgroud noise. The seller (Aliexpress MTKNAVI Store) is sending me a new RCA cable, still waiting for it...
2. I have a Toyota Rav4 2017 and with this Max10 all the lock doors settings doen't work such as:
- Lock all doors over 20kms/h
- Unlock when shifting P
- Driver lock button doesn't lock all doors
After speaking with Dasaita over FB Messenger they told that there is a new Canbus version and the seller MTKNAVI is sending me the new one.
So far, all the issues has been addressed by Dasaita and the Seller.
Try to reach Dasaita over Facebook Messenger.

Hi marchnz,
Which one is a known issue, the background noise or the door lock?

He means the background noise.
They released a rca plugs to avoid that noise...normally coming from the stock amplifier....
Customer must specify the version of the car in order to check if the rca is required.

I have just installed one Dasaita Max 10, Android 10, 1280x720.

Get mine in a few days. Will post thoughts here.

Just got mine. RAV4 2014 AWD cruiser with amplifier. I have the same problem with the hissing and background noise does anyone have a picture of the RCA cables that are supposed to fix the issue - it's not these?

I have no idea what these rca cables are that people are talking about, but I doubt they remove hiss. I suspect these people are talking about ground loop noise which CAN be cancelled out with a special rca cable set.... but the hiss is coming directly from the unit itself.
I just ordered a dasaita max 10 and it's still in the mail but my old dasaita px5 is plagued with the same hiss issue which I was never able to get rid of. My guess is that my new max 10 will be the same. Fortunately I drive a jeep with a soft top and big mud tires.... which all pretty much drowns out the hiss
Are you connecting to your amp with the speaker level outs or the rca outs?

I don't think I'm connecting to the amp at all (JBL Greenedge)! I didn't end up using any of the cables numbered 3 to 11 in the attached pic and 14 - 17 are for the reverse camera and factory aux connector. There is no input for it in the bundle of cable harnesses that I can find...am I missing something here?
Thanks for the help, I've asked the seller on Ali about the harnesses - I'll share his replies here.

I Installed mine yesterday and have some issues I bought this one.

I bought the adapter that basically converts the speaker outputs to RCA for the factory amp. I also am using a 4chan Kicker amp so needed to use 4 male to 2 female y splitters to use both. No hiss
My issues are as follows hopefully there is a quick fix.
1. Bluetooth paired with Max10 but just basic info won't send contact info to HU.
2. Offline Nav does not see data without My Samsung Note 9 connected to the MaX10. Using supplied GPS antenna with strong signal.
3. NO Am radio at all ant is plugged in.

1. Once paired to your Note 9 go to bluetooth settings on your phone and choose the connection to the headunit. You can see a gear . Push it and check the profiles for the connection. Ensure "contact access" is enabled.
In case it doesn't work. Remove the paired connection from both headunit and phone and pair again. I remember the same issue and corrected after deleting and pairing again.
2. Gps offline. Which offline gps did you installed? If you mean igo gps...perhaps maps were not included...note that installed igo is just a pirated copy if the software...so no support
Isuggest you to get a good offline navigator (like "tomtom or "sygic"....or the free "here maps")
3. Check on factory settings that you have setuo the radio correctly to your region (europe, America1, america2, asia...) password for factory settings = 126

I have IGO nav on my Dasaita px5 and it is most definitely an off line system which does not require a connection. As @ikerg suggested maybe you didn't download the updated maps for your area? If you're talking about google or waze or some nav system like that... they are not really off line systems.
As noted on my above post, I haven't got my max 10 yet (still in the mail. It might come within the next 5 years or so given the speed and accuracy of China Post!) but I did notice with my px5 the request for permission to download bluetooth information (contacts, recents... etc) always came in like 10 or 15 minutes after initial pairing. Never did figure out why the delay, but give it a little while.
Interesting about the lack of hiss. I'm using the rca's directly off the back of my px5 (which I always assumed to be cleaner than the speaker outputs) to my amps and I DO get hiss. Even when volume is ZERO you can faintly hear it. Maybe I will try the speaker outputs

Sorry to be clear I am using the 2v rca outputs as well the y splitters are used for the adapter to the JBL factory amp and to my Kicker amp connected to the outputs from the HU . I guess Dasaita made this adaptor to send a better signal to the factory Amp to get rid of that noise Is my guesstimate Others have said it fixed their issues on the JBL system
And your right probably need to connect through hotspot again and go to maps and download the offline data just like my phone not used to a andriod HU as a stereo replacement.
Anyone know how to get the Max10 to auto pair with my hotspot I leave it on the phone side but have to keep hitting the wifi connection every time .The system setting is set to auto connect i believe.
OK FIXED the Max 10 Bluetooth issue after pairing go to phone icon on Dasaita hit the Sync button two arrows doing the spin third button down on the right menu . Then the request for sharing contact info showed up on the phone request and voila!

Ah ok, so it arrived with your order? I guess I'll need to try and get them to ship the adapter out to me...
Does anyone have a pic of the adapter? I want to see if I could make it myself instead of waiting another month for it to arrive from China

Mine arrived in 5 days with DHL should not take that long. Honestly better to use the head unit power than the JBL but I was feeling lazy LOL

Please help! Klyde head unit in 2013 Hyundai sonata can't get the sound working

Hello
I've searched and tried plenty, and maybe this was covered but I can't find anything..
I recently bought a Klyde unit for my 2013 Hyundai sonata with dimension stereo and stock amplifier..
The wiring seemed simple enough, but I cannot get any sound through my speakers.
I did quite a bit of troubleshooting and even got a replacement canbus decoder from the seller but still nothing..
Is there a simple solution that someone else knows or should I just return the thing and get a different one..
Thanks a million I'm stumped
Edit: the rca cables have sound coming out but I'm trying to keep the stock amplifier and speakers..
The spdif signal going to the canbus "amp controller" box gets 12v power, I get about 200 to 250mv signal into it but 10mv going out to the car's harness
Is there a way to "enable" the amp controller like the Metra boxes?
Sent from my SM-N900W8
Anyone?
I have more pics if it helps
Thanks again
Bought a Metra amp interface and now it works
I am wondering if this might be how to solve my problem. This is the post I made on the large android head unit thread, do you think this metra amp interface would solve this for my lancer also?
if so which did you get and where, I think you have the same head unit I have.
"I just received my unit thursday I had it installed friday, but it was not giving any audio signal and the amp wasn't being turned on. They tried to manually turn on the amp, but there was still no audio coming through.
so I am wondering if there is anything I can do to troubleshoot it myself while waiting for a reply from the seller. There is a few notable things that might be the problem but I figured I would ask here to check before I start.
First there is a red wire that looks like it was cut right near the canbus unit it came this way out of the box, the installer said it had power to it, I am wondering if it's supposed to be cut or if reconnecting it could help, also there is a blue wire on the harness that is not connected into the harness also. will attach pictures. (or not because I am not allowed hopefully you can figure out how to see them below...)
red wire ------- pasteboard dot co/MO1wkXJ.jpg
blue wire ------- pasteboard dot co/MO6kqKs.jpg
back of unit ---- pasteboard dot co/MO9x1eI.jpg"
So what Metra Interface Kit...
I know this is an old thread but I have a 2014 Sonata Limited w/ Dimension Amp and android head unit doesn't output audio either with the Amp controller box or spdif box. I believe these boxes that came with it are not working properly. Please inform me of what kit I need to purchase.
Seeing reports...
I'm seeing reports the the hybl-04 is the Metra kit that you have ended up using. Is this correct?

I can answer for I40 and the only way to get a descent Bluetooth is to modify the HU according
to the specific thread in this forum. Both HU's carry the same problem.
Be careful when you order to get the correct screen ie. 1024. They sometimes specify it as optional.
Also verify if you have a factory amplifier. If you have, you need another loom and an analog/SPDIF box.
They are cheap compared to the big guy's, so don't expect miracles. They still work.
I've four units for different cars similar to yours.
Can you point out the thread with the HU modification that improves Bluetooth?
The original Hyundai amplifier only takes spdif as an input? Intresting i dont see other i30 owners which use an android HU mention that.
You are right on the optional 1024 (usually extra 25$).
Iam most intrested not in the bluetooth mobile -> head unit connection but more in getting the audio from the original mic (just above the drivers head) connected to the HU. I feel this way i have less of the aftermarked look (additional mic) and also better audio since the original mic is pretty much in the perfect spot.
I guess i can solder whatever connection the original mic has to my headunit. But there might electrical issues or the mic cable be part of some strange car bus system which will it make hard to figure outand connect.
I don't have a hyundai, but I've put aftermarket units in 2 different cars w/ mics and both had the same problem - they are active mics that have noise cancelling & can't be used w/ these HUs. BUT, you can still easily disconnect the microphone from where it is located and put the aftermarket external mic in its place. My car is a 2014 mazda 6, and my OEM mic was in my overhead where my dome lights are. The panel was held in by 2 screws where the sunglasses drop down. I drop those 2 screws, disconnect the mic from its connector, and pull the mic out (it had some weak adhesive around it, very easy to take out). I then ran my external mic up my a-pillar and mounted it exactly where my factory mic was located. Sound quality is very good, everyone can still hear me okay. and everything looks stock.
Just buy a unit w/o BT issues (avoid MTCB units unless they have fixed this... others seem okay).
Are the units in my original post MTCB units?
What is the reason the active noise canceling microphones can not be used?

I didn't check your links so you'll have to check for yourself. An active mic will need to be powered, so you'll need to know the correct voltage and supply it somehow. I doubt it's 12V that you can use directly from the unit but you never know. Read it with a meter.
I guess theoretically you could make it work in that case.

Joying 5.1 HU, USB connections

Re Post from MTCB forum,
Just installed a Joying:
. SKU: JY-UL124 . Quad Core Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS Capacitive 7" High Definition for Universal Double Din . CPU: RK3188 1.6GHz Cortex A9 Quad Core, Resolution 1024*600. RAM:DDR3 1G, 16 GB memory
To my 2014 Australian Hyundai Elantra.
I waited to get the latest HU from Joying that has an unrated mother board and USB/ Comms board. With Lollipop 5.1.1. the unit performs very well with none of the problem previously mentioned on these pages. The internal and external mics are clear and the Bluetooth systems are perfect. Unit has been rooted and I don't seem to need for apps so I won't changed the software now.
The dimming for the button and the screen to follow the vehicles rheostat was fixed by making a circuit to invert and amplify the rheostat output to the HU ill line. Work's well, Kudos to the guys at the Subaru forums.
I had one bug fixed by Joying when the GPS nav was muted whenever I plugged in the DVR front camera. Joying quickly sent me a link to re flash my firmware and the problem was fixed. I have them currently looking into a bug when I view the DVR input shown on the HU I get lots of flashing to the screen in all pixel settings. I have been told this will be fixed in the next firmware update soon.
One problem that I can't solve is when I try to use my vehicles Multimedia Jack located in my center console. There is a Aux and USB jack there. All wiring from console to HU is complete. If I connect a USB stick to the Jack in the console then then HU struggles to connect and gives up. If I interrupt the USB plug and socket behind the HU then I am able to use the USB correctly. Looking at the car wiring diagrams there is a amplifier cct behind the Multimedia Jack supposedly to amp up the USB to HU. Doesn't seem to work?
Any ideas appreciated.

i have nothing to add, other than interested to see what the result is. Are you saying that your car comes with a built in hub in the console, and you are trying to make that USB port in the console work to the Joying head unit? my vehicle is similar, and I would like that to work as well
Update
Yes I have a console hub I guess.
The book calls it a multimedia center. Just an Aux port and a USB port or Jack in the tidy bin in the center console. If I by pass the Jacks and directly put the USB stick into the USB tail from the radio then it works fine. When I plug into the console port it tries to read it and fails. The HU then reports a read fail, have tried other known working USB sticks.
I have inspected behind the console jacks and found a cct board attached to the Jacks and then to the car wiring. From looking at the diagrams of the car previous to mine I see a cct board containing what looks like an amplifier. Tracing the car wiring to the radio input connectors seems to be OK and the wiring correct. Voltages at the radio connector are right in that there is 5v +ve, negative - earth and the center pins are data as they should be.
The console Jacks
w.hemanual.org/multimedia_jack_description_and_operation-2037.html
The wiring for same (mine is same but more complex)
w.hemanual.org/multimedia_jack_schematic_diagrams-2036.html
Really bugs me not to be able to access that USB input Jack esp as the radio is a great unit.

You need to post this question in the MTCD (Lollipop) hardware thread. This thread is for MTCB (KitKat) units. The hardware in the MTCD headunits are very different than the MTCB headunits.
Thanks and done - I still have the same problem

Hello, i'm interest in tthis unit,https://www.carjoying.com/quad-core-android-car-radio/quad-core-vw-android-car-radio/joying-2016-latest-aftermarket-european-warehouse-lollipop-android-5-1-1-car-head-unit-autoradio-quad-core-double-din-gps-navigation-system-stereo-radio-support-reverse-camera-dvr-g.html and dont' know if it's the same you have. Can you tell me if you have some lag problems or something? does the hardware handles well the software?
Bob
Seems the same. Same CPU, platform, Specs etc. I think being a "VW Golf Passat Jetta" model from Joying it probably has some firmware in it to pick up your particular car's Bluetooth connections. The front surround looks like it has been added to my "Universal" type to fit neatly into your dashboard. The case and rear connections are identical. I see they have added a CanBus box which my car did not need but looks like yours does. There is probably a harness with it to fit your wiring loom.
if you run a lot of apps at once there is some lag not bad though. Like if you had the radio on and the GPS on and DVR the traffic then that's a pretty big load so then there is some lag but you get used to it. You might have to wait a second before an icon or screen switch becomes available. When running only a few apps at once there is no lag issues.
I like mine a lot, would not replace it with the OEM.
The problem mentioned below is one with my car only. My car's remote console jacks for the AUX and USB have their own preamp so I have by passed them and put in a aftermarket remote Aux USB and that works ok.
I am half way through doing a write up on the modifications and install if anyone is interested.

Hey mate, does it run Android auto? Trying to figure out which units can and can't. Looks like any running Android 5 can but trying to figure it out. Thanks!

"seicane" aliex - PX3 7.1.2 Bluetooth music A2DP quality poor

Hi guys..
Well first of all how I wish I'd checked these forums first before buying as I wouldn't have, second I wish I'd at least bought from the UK as I'd get some support. But hey ho I didn't and I'm stuck with it as returning to china seems to risky after the message suggested returning at a value of $70 so they don't get taxed and also making sure its sent by EMs so it doesn't get lost in transit like many units do at customs!!
So I bought what seemed to be an all singing all dancing unit from seicane store on ali express, for my seat ibiza mk5. According to the system info via root check app it's a px3, 7.1.2 android, rock chip, rk30sdk.
Amongst many other problems my main one is the Bluetooth audio quality over A2DP is horrendous, and it's not an amp problem as over aux or USB it's perfect. I've been looking at airplay using air bubble app and personal hotspot but it's too long to load and unstable I only drive 15 min to work so just want fast music to my ears! I've considered getting a Bluetooth transmitter and sticking it in the aux input but not ideal.
Anyone got suggestions as to what the issue may be and if it can be resolved?
Thanks in advance hope I can get this stable one day!
mine is also horrendous, and I also have a very short drive. Connecting a hotspot and launching app and getting a song, takes just too long for me. I'm basically already at my destination by the time I get it up. My workaround was to do what you said, and get a bluetooth transmitter and sticking to the aux, because aux sounds fine, but just bluetooth over a2dp sounds so bad, and has this distorted high end sound. This solution worked for me for awhile, but the only downside is you don't get song information on the head unit to display, which is a tad annoying for me.
I've contacted my radios reseller, and they're just ridiculously helpless, all they do is keep sending me a "software" update to fix it, but it does nothing. I've been searching for over a year for a solution, but have found nothing to fix it, other than what I just said. Problem was still there even when I used custom roms. SO I don't really think its a software issue, maybe some kind of hardware I can replace or modify, but I just really have no clue.

Yeh I've ruled out airplay as an option,
you've got me interested though as you're in a similar boat as me so hopefully can help, do you have the exact same unit for an ibiza or?
And yes thats exactly whats annoying me not getting track info, may as well just use the original head unit if i get a bluetooth transmitter!! which transmitter did you get? i've got a really cheap basic one years old and its got a high pitched whining noise in between song skips so its there just muffled out by songs playing, I'm wondering if thats probably just a cheap receiver I've got..
I'll try get somewhere with the hardware see about a new bluetooth module but no idea on the interface would be total guess work and risky at that, not even sure how to safely root this one.
Other issues i'm having which may be common and you may know? I got a dash cam which cam with a yellow RCA, an Acc+ wire, a ground wire and a 12V wire.. i don't understand why its got an Acc+ and a 12V, i thought similar things both transmit power just one off the ignition being on only? theres no 12v out wire on the head unit except 'cam pow' which I've tried to no avail. I plan on recording direct to the SD card on the camera.
Subwoofer out, does this work on our units? i bought it because i plan adding a 4 channel amp for F/R speaks and a sub amp for a single sub.. but does the rca not work / no amplifier control over it?!
Cheers hope to get somewhere with this as i feel a bit down that its not all singing all dancing like i expected lol.
i have a Seicane with Android 6.0 already, which I dont really have any problems with, but it is not PX3
however, I do have a Seicane with Android 7.1 on the way that does have a PX3. I'll report back when i get it to see if I have any issues

Well the 6.0 version is totally different hardware
it is a known issue that no one seems to have a fix for. Im having this same issues with my PX5 Dasaita unit and had this issue on a previous Xtrons unit aswell. I believe it is a problem with the bluetooth drives not supporting the higher bitpools of recent bluetooth updates hence the bad quality. Ive even tried installing a USB bluetooth dongle but could not get the unit to recognize it.

Well I also have a Dasaita PX5 and I definitely didn't have a problem on that one. I would listen to Bluetooth audio on it pretty regularly.
Quick from Hot Audio did email me and ask about it, saying they had heard complaints, and sent me a new harness, but I haven't needed it

What email did you contact for hot audio? I have reported the issue but they have made no mentions of a different harness. Thanks

Well i've gone an ordered a car play dongle, so hopefully that will be a solution for good radio and a more functional nav at the same time.
Any tips for the dash cam guys? i ordered the 3 cable power one rather than a usb to keep the slots free.. not sure where i should hook them up to. (12V yellow, Acc+ red, black Grnd), i've only got an acc+ on the back of the harness and ground i made an earth wire to the car. Left the 12v off and it doesn't turn on. but my unit doesn't have a 12v, only acc+ or cam pow.
Got a pic or link to the camera you got?
So i have this camera..
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/140...32812106756.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.MXwOS4
and this unit..
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Aft...32827061575.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.MXwOS4
The seller said to connect acc+ to acc+ on the unit, 12v to the cars 12v and grnd to the cars ground. I made an earth for the ground just to a screw towards the rear inside of the dash, but not sure where i'll safely take 12v from? especially with the car having a can bus if i splice any wires that may cause an error? Surely these units put out a 12v signal somewhere?
heres the wiring diagrams... https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1z7DmnMn.PuJjSZFk763_lpXaZ.png
Also another Q regarding using an external amplifier for speakers and a sub.. is there an issue with the actual volume sent to the amps and can this be resolved? depending what input i give the head unit the volume differs, aux a lot quieter than usb stick or bluetooth.. but even both of them at volume 30 neither are really very loud where you here the speakers distorting, with a standard radio or branded head unit towards top end the speakers would distort so i can set a 'safe' max limit, my concern is the android head unit will limit the amp? and i've seen no info on rooting these units for viper4audio if that would help.
Thanks
Edit: how would i check if the 'cam-pow' wire is putting out 12v with a multimeter? just hold one probe to the wire and touch a ground point with the other?
BT & USB Support on PX5
Guys,
Sorry to tell you, the ROMS are very stripped down and as a result, the only support will be for the listing of BT modules that are on the main board and only for the ones list in the setup. You will not be able to add an external usb BT module to the head unit, it will not reconize them, and therefor will not work. Same with other USB devices. All support has been stripped out of the firmware. Some of these company's are getting slick enough to modify the firmware even more to only support devices that they sell, locking you into buying there junk. Good Luck! I had a BT problem with a Seicane Head Unit, and tried every possible, BT usb module only to find out what they do. Anyone want to purchase BT usb modules cheap!!!!!!

Junsun V1 pro 8/128 - no app sound

Hello everyone,
recently i installed a Junsun Head Unit in my Audi TT MK2 (2012) with the bose system.
I had a xtrons PX5 before that worked like a dream until the touchscreen died.
The JunsunHead Unit works fine, but there is a strange behaviour i can't figure out.
Everything is connected through the quadlock and a canbus adapter from the seller, also there is a aux harness connected. pretty much standard stuff.
My problem:
The integrated radio app has sound. Music via Bluetooth works also just fine.
Every third party app like youtube, spotify, waze, maps, ... has absolutely no sound. nothing.
Googling my problem wasn't really helpful. Connecting the AMP CTRL Wire to ACC oder every other 12V wire to activate the bose amp in the trunk doesn't do anything, still no sound. And yes, the amp is working just fine, when i connect the amp ctrl wire to the powered antenna while using the radio app you can hear the difference in the sound qualitiy because of the amp working, but like i said you also have sound without the connected amp so there should be sound in any other app also, right? I don't want to listen to radio stations all day - i want spotify
In the hidden menues every setting looks just fine, everything works except the sound in app.
So my guess is the firmware, i already contacted the seller but he didn't responded yet.
Is there a newer firmware available? Or do any of you guys have any idea how to fix my problem?
One more thing: how to do a factory reset on this unit? Is there a code or a special way to press the touchbuttons...? Is it the "erase all content" in the factory settings?
Thank you so much in advance!
no idea?
How is audio output connected to your car/amp? SPDIF coaxial?
Android head unit. Some apps no sound. Radio app has sound.
Hi all. I stumbled upon these forum by googling my issue. So far I haven't found any answers to my problems, so hoping for some help from the great people on here. I have recently installed a seicane 10.1 android head unit into my jeep wrangler...

I've seen this thread. Didn't really help.
Everything is connected through the OEM quadlock (with bose) + the canbus encoder and AUX left/right in the wiring harness.
Spoke to the seller several times now and he has no idea either. He's sending me a new firmware the next few days to test... otherwise i'll send the head unit back. Must be some software issues cause some apps have sound, others don't... doesn't make any sense to me

The radio app is only an interface to control the radio hardware. Bluetooth may be the same. So it makes sense.
Hey everyone,
little feedback after updating the Headunit with the newest firmware from junsun:
Everything works now!!

Happy to hear that it wasn't hardware related.
