Samsung S10 Plus - Everytime I restart my phone Magisk is not installed. Need help - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Questions & Answers

I am super new to rooting I mainly use it for PokemonGo. I am following this video on YouTube.
Basically when I flashed via Odin, I then install Magisk. Then everything is working and rooted BUT when I restart my phone my Magisk is then magically unrooted (I dont know if this is the right term) it says 'Magisk is not installed' and underneath that is says 'Magisk Manager is up to date'
So why does it keep doing this? Everytime this happens I need to Flash again via Odin and do the whole procedure again. This only happens when I restart the phone. Why does it keep doing this and how do I fix this? I will pay someone who can fix this for me. Ive been trying to figure out for the past day and Im going insane. I have no knowledge about rooting etc like i said i just want to play Pokemongo location spoofing.
Appreciate everyones help.

Are You aware that you have to reboot via keycombo, just as you would boot into recovery and then release the buttons, after vibrate and samsung logo, or alternatively use an app like quick reboot pro ?

You have a double post of the same topic.

Yes but I'm not 100% sure if I'm doing it correctly. Well my magisk is installed so I'm doing it right? But like I said when I restart my mobile magisk is not installed in the app. May I ask what's this reboot Pro? If that will solve the restart problem I would.happily pay. Can you tell me more?I'm really nooby thank you sir

Im seeing doubles.

just install the file on your phone, and click 'root'
when green bar loads to 100%, you need to enter to recovery mode by urself to finish root.
root failed ;-(
I've got stucked at the full green bar. How to enter the recovery mode?

Most likely your download is corrupt. Make sure the file size is 25.8 MB.

Yeah, I don't know what the deal is, I've tried downloading it in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome, and every time it downloads as a 256KB apk file. A no-go on my end.
Root Does Work
Just an FYI - I did finally end up getting the download to be 25MB, and root did work perfectly. I was using Titanium Backup and Greenify in root mode. I was able to "freeze" a lot of apps. But I ended up making a mistake and going one step too far...I had everything frozen, installed Xposed Framework and XBlast, then decided I'd save some space by actually uninstalling the apps I had frozen. I did a bunch at a time, rebooted, no problem, then did another set, then got stuck at the "Sprint Spark" screen. Never was able to recover it even with someone else's TWRP backup, I get a ton of force closes, so it looks like I'm bricked. I'm not going to share the file since it's not mine, but after trying to download it repeatedly, for some reason it finally worked. Ran the app, had to hold I think it was Vol up + Power because it doesn't complete properly, but sure enough, it worked. TWRP gets installed and it boots to that when you do the Vol down + Power, then installs its' root. I've ordered another cheap phone so I can get one back up and running.

You just simply install it or do you need to do anything else in order to root it?

Failed TWRP causing phone glitches?!?!?

I need help!
I tried to put TWRP on my Galaxy S4 using Flashify. I just followed the instructions and it downloaded the .img file. I then pressed flash and it flashed fine. Then it said reboot so i rebooted it. It came up with the "Samsung Custom" with the unlocked padlock like it normally does, but then it changed to a screen that said there was an error with the kernel and that i needed to connect the phone to my computer and run some Android recovery. I took the battery out and then rebooted into the page where you go to flash a custom OS. (Tried to go to recovery mode, wrong button combo). I then hit cancel and suprisingly, it booted up just fine. Kinda. After i unlocked the lock screen, I noticed that most of the apps are gone, system and downloaded. I also was bombarded with "Unfortunately, ________ has stopped." Messages. Most of the apps that are left work, except for messaging for some reason. I am writing this thread from the phone, actually. The Internet works fine, except that some apps i reinstalled via APK don't want to connect to the internet. Phone, contacts, internet, and camera still work. I know i am a noob and i shouldnt have tried to do this without help or more research. I will encolse screen shots of my phones specs if needed. If anyone reading this could just point me in the right direction, i would be extremely grateful. I can post any extra information and answer any questions you may have. Sorry for being a noob but i dont know where else to ask and i cant find any similar threads. Thank you in advance!

At this point you can only flash a stock rom.
Or somehow get recovery to work and then flash a custom rom. Safetrap recovery might work.

Ok thank you for your help. I am due for an upgrade anyway so i will just go to the S7.

Root success, supersu wanted to update. Now stuck in TWRP. S6 Edge (6.0.1)

Hi! The titel says most of it. But I will be more specific here.
So. Yesterday I decided to root my S6 Edge (6.0.1). I followed this guide on youtube "/watch?v=ZjfcyKeur9w"
If you watch the video you will know to 100% of what I have done. My english is to bad to explain. Srry :/
Anyways. Everything worked fine untill today. SuperSU said that it needed to update so i thought why not? I pressed the okey button or whatever it said. Then it said "SuperSU will try to reboot your system" or something like that. It did. But now my phone only boots into TWRP, Cannot get past it. I tried to install the previous supersu verison. The one i had before it decided to update itself. No progress. I tried to wipe aswell. Nothing helped so far.
If someone have had this problem before I would appriciate every help I can get!
For best help i think it would be if you could guide me thru skype, typing or speaking. Doesnt matter! In that case add spitzer4354.
Thank you

I used "TWRP-3.0_MM_S6-edge_by_ManhIT" and "SpaceX-Kernel_MM_RC2.1_G925F" but the SpaceX isnt a TWRP.
I used the BETA-SuperSU-v2.52(.zip).
And to install all of it I used Odin3_v3.10.6

J5 Bootloop After Trying to Update Xposed

So, as the title says, i found this video on how to get Xposed on my J500-H(Link below for reference). After I got it, I installed a few plugins, everything was fine. After exploring the app for a while i noticed there was an update, so clicked it and told me to reboot, fine. after rebooting the android boot logo pops up and half of the Samsung boot tune plays."Huh, that's funny" I say. I sit there, and sit there, and sit the- its been 20 mins. So I go onto XDA and see of there is a solution. I have tried mostly all of them and nothing has worked. I tried deleting the file in data, but it wasn't there. I go and read I can go into safe mode and uninstall it, I couldn't find out how because it requires you to be actually on the phone. I try a few terminal codes, that didn't work. And i finally do a factory reset, nope. So i kind of don't know what to do, right now my phone is a brick that gets very hot. If you have any suggestions, PLEASE, let me know. Thank you in advance, :crying: . Also my phone is running Android lollipop 5.1.1 stock touchwiz.

Your system is somehow corrupted by the xposed. You probably have your OEM unlock on, so you can easily flash stock ROM with odin. It will resolve the bootloop.
Did you install the right xposed version by wanam?
if no, reflash with odin

[Bricked]Like a Boss(err... complete imbecile)

So here's the story..
Everything was running beautifully, I got bootloader unlocked, TWRP installed and rooted with Magisk, even a few modules and of course my favorite Viper4android... All without having to ask any questions. Super silky smooth thanks to all the amazing devs here that made it so easy ?
... The problem, I'm not incredibly familiar with Magisk hide and everything was going phenomenally but low and behold the play store had to show up with an warning notification that Viper could be harmful... It wouldn't allow me to dismiss it, so like the amazing genius I am I remember that Magisk hide is used to hide things from the store...Rrrright?
Not sure if this matters but Viper was a system app at the time and yeah I TRIED to hide it ??
... thought everything was cool for about 30 seconds
... phone shut down, booted to recovery
.... So I thought, ehhh no big deal I'll just do A WIPE and restore my back up
restored the back up.... Seemed to anyhow, went through the complete process.
I went to reboot system and NADA just boots back to TWRP for a moment anyhow...
So then I'm thinking oh well I'll just go back in to restore my backup AGAIN... NOTHING'S THERE!
I go to SDcard and it's nothing but a bunch of folders with jumbled alphanumerics
Fuhhh...
At some point it stopped letting me reboot TWRP, not sure how to differentiate when, but it just loops straight back to Fastboot now Everytime and I can see my device in the computer but I try fastboot boot twrp.img and it says something like failed can't recognize boot.
Edit: (I guess this has to be in the form of a question)... What do I do?

Hi there. So the warning from the play store was actually from "play protect" which you can disable IN the play store in the left pull out menu. Not something you need Magisk hide for. Now the folders with jumbled characters are because of encryption. When you restored your backup, the device's encryption went wack on you, which happens with this device if you install or restore anything with a previous security patch than you currently have. It's annoying, but you either have to format your data entirely, or (what I recommend) use the MSM Download tool that can be found here in the guide section of this forum. Use the T-Mobile version of the tool if you have a T-Mobile variant of the device, and the global version if you have the global version of the device. What you could try to back up your important stuff, boot TWRP with fastboot using "fastboot boot [TWRPfilename]" and you might be able to plug in your device to a PC to save stuff first. But yeah, MSM tool is your best bet, that has happened to me before, and the play protect option in the play store is what you should have disabled instead of using Magisk for it.

have something similar like you and my phone every time go to fastboot so what I have done is installed rom from fastboot and it worked like a charm my phone was up and running. thank you all for your replies, however I'm beginning to get really frustrated. I'm trying to use the MSM tool and how do I frickin run an .exe when the damn thing is a .rar format, the instructions under that thread are not particularly descriptive. Do I extract it? do I have to run something in a window somewhere? if my device is in EDL and the port shows Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM6) is that good?

Yes, you are doing it right.
I would use 7zip but winRAR is fine. Dont know why someone would be using that in this day and age... but hey, it works...
I have also read other random threads that says that the file is corrupt. If you cant get a good download let me know and I will upload my collection of files. Send me a PM if you need me to upload. It wont be for a couple hours though...
Apparently they're all corrupt. I just downloaded 9.0.11 after doing .12 first and I'm getting the same errors in WinRAR
Yeah good call on 7-zip, I uninstalled winrar... complete garbage, all changing my folder icons without my consent and stuff.
