You should flash vbmeta.img of your current version of miui before you wipe it all.

But right now the flash is done so...what are the other options to bring my phone back to live..

Flash vbmeta.img is fastboot, by ADB command
Just like flashing recovery

If vbmeta flash didn't improve your situation, you must flash a fastboot official rom via Miflash tool.
If new to this use Miflashpro latest, it will guide you in the rom choice and download.

If the custom recovery will shown, then you can easily manage to flash ROM back wipe dalvic/cache, cache, data, system and format data type yes. And so you can flash ROM as brand new. But take note everything on your device will wipe including photos and files. But it is the way to get back your phone to life.

1 - Download this and unrar
2-enter fastboot
3-run Flash_TWRP.bat and follow instruction

Leeco 2 x527 back to Stock ROM

Hello,
I dont get it done to reset my x527 to stock conditions.
I downloaded the 5.8.19S.zip and tried to flash it via TWRP. TWRP gives me Error 7 and "This zip is for Device 'le_s2_ww', your device is 'le_s2'"
I figured out that the stock ROM isnt flashable through TWRP, ok.
I wanted to also flash back the Recovery to stock. I downloaded the x526 Recovery to flash it via ADB/Fastboot.
ADB is working, Im able to start my x527 into bootloader. But from here the Commandline says "No devices" (fastboot devices), but the device is shown 'Fastboot Mode' on Display.
But the most important thing: Where I can download the original Stock Rom for my x527? All Links I found myself are for other x52? Devices, or seems suspicious.
Thank you for your help!
I got I worked to transfer the Stock Recovery and flashed it without problems.
Then I tried to flash the 5.8.19S.zip again with original Recovery. Now it seems to work. No Errors were displayed.
But know the device isnt booting. It onlyshows the LeEco Splashscreen for a couple of Minutes for now.
How do I transfer Data between PC and x527? Only Fastboot is working for now.
Ok I found a solution by myself:
- Put Device in Fastboot Mode (Power + Vol down)
- On PC start the command "fastboot boot <TWRP.img> (e.g. "fastboot boot recovery.img")
- Now you have a live TWRP and you are able to Sideload, Install, Wipe etc pp.
Now Im with RemixOS again.
To flash stock rom use the Chinese recovery! And after flash it will ask you to restore to stock recovery or not!
Or u can do it another way!
Rename the stock eui file by update.zip
Open any twrp recovery u have
Perform a factory reset and clean!
Copy the update.zip to phone
Goto fastboot mode
Flash stock recovery
Now the stock recovery will detect update.zip and will load the whole clean rom its a long process though u can give it a try in future!

As you tell do factory reset and clean, what things should be cleaned to do it the cleanest way?
(And how do I just flash the recovery of the update.zip, will I be asked if I swipe to confirm flash of the update.zip? I am afraid it will already start a complete flash than.) Forget that
I just misunderstood the part of your description as I would have to go to fastboot, I think you just have to stay as you are already there all the time... or not?

Forget everything i just got a better way!
Goto fastboot n install chinese recovery available!
Open recovery then goto wipe and do a factory reset!
Then transfer the stock rom file! And flash it!
After the flash you will be asked to replace the recovery! If you want to replace it with stock then swipe to confirm!
Your stock os n recovery will be installed!
Just be patient it will take sometime on boot! N yes if it says some error like encryption n thing just don't get panic! The device will automatically restart in stock recovery and there you will get 2 option!
1st one is to update package via .zip
2nd is to clear data!
Since sometime it is shown in Chinese then just select the 2nd option and it will clear all the things and then will restart the device and will boot into clean stock rom!
Hey I think I will try it this way ...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-2/how-to/guide-how-to-flash-stock-rom-using-twrp-t3536122/post73219991#post73219991
Because I just want back 19s modem/firmware, which isn't working with the standalone files amd go back to los13 then.
So with their way I wouldn't have to change the recovery to chinese, to stock and back I guess.
Thx anyway

Bricked but still have twrp

Hey guys,
so I tried flashing Omni 8.0 rom and I was stuck at the boot screen. so I went back into twrp tried to reflash still nothing. I flashed a new version of twrp the one that can use multirom and it erased all my data. I flashed back the twrp I started with and now I can not sideload the full OTA zip to get back to stock. It says "cannot load one.zip" which is what I have it labeled as. I tried to download the recovery tool and I can't seem to figure out how to get the driver to work so it will see me on my comm port. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do or what happened? I'm stuck in twrp.
almost looks like it can't mount the system
IDK, maybe a broken download. I'd try to restore a backup if you have one, if not Wipe > Factory Reset. If it still doesn't boot after 20 minutes, refer to this thread: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/i-have-to-go-back-to-oxygen-os.649947/#post-16907420. Basically, download the OOS ROM onto your computer and use an ADB/USB Sideload in TWRP recovery (you can flash Oxygen Recovery from TWRP if TWRP doesn't work) to install it. May take a while to boot.
I have no idea how it happened but I got my system mounted again that was my problem. I'm back.

Easy fix for "Cannot load xxx.rom": you have to patch the adb.exe with a large address awareness program. Google it, I found one in another XDA thread.
Reason: the ROM filesize is too large. For small ROMs (like custom ROMs) adb would recognise it without any problems.

HELP! SM -G901F, TWRP can't find storage partition to mount

Guys this is help less.
After rooting my device I followed some instructions to get the Lineage 14. I flashed a BootLoader and a Modem as instructed and went forth to mount USB in order to transfer the custom rom into the device. But this is where the problem is.
It says E: Cant find partition to mount storage. I've tried to reboot, wide, data, storage, system and cache and repair the partition I don't know what else to do.
Anyone else can help? Btw I am fairly new to this stuff so please dumb it down for me.
Another thing, when I go to reboot my recovery it says my device isn't rooted and asks to install superSu, however it was rooted before I entered download mode and started installing bootloader and modem.
Now I have no operating system in the device so i can literally only use Recovery or download mode.
Is my device bricked? I don't know. :crying: :crying:

If you can boot recovery, all is not lost.
First, are you sure that you flashed the correct bootloader/modem for your s5 model (G900 T, P, V, F, etc? Odin should not let you flash the wrong one, but anything is possible.
If Bl/modem is correct, them the next thing is to get the custom rom onto the phone.
-make sure you have downloaded everything you need (rom, root method(pref Magisk), gapps if wanted)
- boot into recovery, I'm recommending and assuming that you are using the latest Twrp, if not, d/l official Twrp for your model, and flash that with Odin
-In twrp select wipe, format data, just in case.
-now you should be able to mount usb storage, using the option in twrp
- now you should be able to mount your phone to your PC and transfer the rom, put it somewhere easy to find on the phone. also copy gapps and Magisk zips
-now, still in twrp, select install, select rom zip, select add more, select Magisk zip, also flash gapps at this time if you want to use them.
-click the button to flash
-click wipe cache/dalvik
-click reboot
-pray ?

Hey man! Thank you so much for your reply. I installed CPE1 bootloader and modem driver, honestly I don't even know what they do. Was this a wrong thing to do?
I rooted my device using cf auto root, then flashed the bootloader and modem using Odin. After that I (stupidly) tried to boot my stock OS and it was stuck in a bootloop.
Unfortunately I won't be able to try your instructions this till tomorrow evening but I'll keep you posted!! do you mind if I pm?
Edit: I was using twrp 2.8.7 I believe, could this have been the problem? Also I updated twrp to latest and tried micro sd as storage and flashed a Rom but the phone is still bootlooping

Ok I see you have S5 plus. I'm not familiar with that device to know which baseband it should be.
One thing you might try is to boot recovery and clear cache/dalvik and then try booting the custom rom.
If all else fails, you might try Samfirm
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-t2988647
That should give you a stock firmware file to flash with odin.
You can pm if you need to, I don't own an S5+, nor am I a veteran flasher but I will try to help if I can.

Ok sorry I couldn't be more help
Oh, you don't need to use of cfautoroot anymore, you can just flash Magisk after the rom, and then use Magisk manager to manage all your root permissions.
So if you are going back to stock, I would:
-Flash stock in Odin
-probably boot stock once to verify (first boot takes long)
-odin flash latest twrp(uncheck auto-reboot, just battery pull after it says pass)
-power on phone with key combo to boot recovery
- format data
-flash rom/gapps?/Magisk
-wipe cache/dalvik
-reboot system (first boot will take long)
Hope you get your phone working again

Good News! Phone is back in full working order after flashing stock firmware. It was kinda scary though, I had to fix an error in Odin and then the phone wouldn't even boot up! Left it over night, booted it again and it worked fine Thanks a lot for your help, I'll try not to soft brick my device again

Did i Just Brick My Phone?

I have the H910 Version.
I flashed the SuperV20 rom and the phone got stuck on the LG Screen. I pulled the battery and manually flashed Magisk. The phone still as getting stuck. So I was going to reinstall the ROM. I read that I may need an updated TWRP. I wiped my phone and went to flash and updated TWRP and when i flashed the img file i hit reboot to recovery and when it was going into recovery, the system crashed. What did i do wrong?

For safety, don't flash recovery without a working rooted rom, to keep an easy fix working.. Now since you still have the engineering bootloader, you should be able to pull the battery to get it powered down, then hold volume down while connecting to a PC to enter fastboot mode. Grab a good copy of my latest twrp . Open up a command prompt and run
Code:
fastboot flash recovery path/to/TWRP.img
. Then since your rom is broken, pull the battery after it's completed and then you should be able to get back into recovery and reflash a rom.

When I open TWRP, they asked for a password so i hit cancel and did a factory reset and that fixed it. I flashed Lineage 15.1 OS and when the LG Screen loads, the phone crashes.. Should i redo the LGUP and ROOT Process?

Did you do the regular factory reset, or did you format data? You need to format data if it was encrypted (it was if it was asking for a password in TWRP) going from anything stock based to lineage or vise versa.

Perhaps it needed the new TWRP, or perhaps it was being finicky about having something wipe or not.

[PROBLEM] Stuck on Android One logo

Hey!
I installed LineageOs on my Xiaomi Mi A1, everything went okay but when I installed the Gapps, it got stuck on the LineageOs logo. The volume button wasn't working right, yet somehow, I manage to enter TWRP and wipe that OS and restore the backup with the original Android One. But when I boot it, it got stuck on Android logo, unable to enter fastboot, TWRP or hard reset because of the volume button not working.
I don't know what else to do, to be honest...
p.d.: I'm new here, sorry if this is not the right section to ask.
Are you 100% sure that you have chosen right version of GApps? because i never had any issues with GApps causing boot loop. BTW what lineage os version 16 or 17 ?
I never had any luck restoring stock rom backup via TWRP either i have no idea why whenever i restore it will stuck on androidone logo.

I chose Android 10 GApps since I installed LineageOS 17. I thought it was the right version.
So TWRP can't be used for stock rom? I didn't know, maybe that's what got me stuck on Android One logo.
Any idea on how to get out from that loop? ?
Dont worry bootloop is not a problem download pixel experience it include gapps boot ur phone to twrp copy rom into internal or sd card Wipe system , data , cache and install the rom ..
TWRP should backup and restore stock image but i think there is something with this phone which wont let twrp to apply system restore i have done it 10 times and i failed everytime.
Edit: do let me know how it goes:good:

Definitely I'll try Pixel Experience! Seems like a good choice. I still need to figure out how to enter Fastboot or TWRP without the volume button.

Adb cmd won't recognize the device, so I'll have to boot it to EDL mode. Is there any guide here? I don't know how to do it.
