Media Player and Headphone Issues

When I plug the HTC HEadphone adapter in with my own headphones the sound does not go tthe headphones, but stays on the speaker. This is a NEW problem... I have been using my headphones/ HTC adapter since I've had the phone.
Also this may/ or may not be related but today I nopticed that my Main Memory goes DOWN when I start playing a MP3 file in Windows Media Player. If I open System Memory after hitting PLAY, I can watch the Program/ FREE memory go from +/- 131mbs down to +/- 30mbs in a matter of seconds.
Why is this happening?? Are the two issues related??
Thanks
Lee

[Q] sound plays on the speakers even if there is a headest plugged on the tab

Hi
Yesterday I wanted to look at a movie on my tab;
I plugged a headset on the tab, and started to play the movie.
The curious thing is that the sound came both from the tab speakers and in the headphones.
How could I do to have the sound ONLY on the headphones ?
Thanks
Nico
The Tab should simply recognize the jack has been plugged in, and deliver sound only to the headphones.
Is it playing on BOTH the headphones and speakers, or just the speakers?
As a simple test, check if you get the same problem using a different set of headphones.
I've had a similar experience a few times, where the sound will play out of both the speakers and the headphones (annoying those sitting next to me on planes). What worked for me was simply unplugging the headphones and then plugging them back in again, until you see a small headphone icon on your status bar. Once you see that icon, you can be fairly certain the sound is only coming out of the 'phones.
I know it's a simple remedy, and you have probably tried it already, but that's what worked for me.
I forget what the app is but there is an app in the market that will solve this problem if the unplug and replug method doesn't work for you.

Solution to the hissing sound on G3

I am using sony XBA-H3 , which has two kind of lines
one is with mic, four channel plug. Another is without mic, three channel plug
this solution is just for three channel plug headphones
Everything you need to do is play your music first, and then plug in your headphone which has three channel plug
the phone will detect as audio out put bet headphone(look at the small icon on the notification bar)
and then, you will find that
AMAZINGLY, THE HISSING SOUND DISAPPEARED
So, i think the issue might come from some audio process for headphone only?
But, at least, we finally got a way to listen to music on our G3
edit
you need to plug your headphone very slowly that it could be identified as audio out put

ZTE Blade A475 and maybe others, low headphone aux output volume Fix

Hi, I have recently bought a Zte blade a475 and everything is fine except for one thing and that thing is the very very low volume coming from the output jack when you connect an external device like a car stereo for example, but if i connect the headset everything is fine so i knew something weird was happening there so i decided to find out the problem.
when i connect the phone to an external speaker and press play in the music app i can hear a weird sound like a "plop" just before the music starts and then the volume goes down to almost 0, but when i connect the headset (headphones and mic) everything its fine and no "plop" sound so i realize that must be a software problem.
Also if you connect the aux cable just the half of the connector it detects the cable as a headset then insert the connector all the way down and everything plays just fine with no "plop" sound before the music starts but is annoying to do that all the time so heres the solution.
FIX:
This may work in other zte or chinese phones.
1.- Go to enginer mode: to do that dial *#*#3646633#*#* then go to hardware testing, select audio, select Headset Mode
In type go to media and Set the Max Vol. 0~160 to 104 and set
thats all !!!
Tell me if it works for you
Thanks Heaps
My A475 is doing this same thing when my volume is set at full, this fixed the problem.

USB C earphones

Hi , anyone tried the Xiaomi USB C noise cancelling earphones with Moto z Force ? I bought a pair thinking it would work but I can hear audio only for the first 20 seconds I plug in the earphones and after that it doesn't work. The buttons also work the first 20 seconds or so but after the audio stops, buttons stop working too. I think the USB C port isn't providing enough power to it. Anyone ?
