Derpfest is still running on slot b and miui too installed on other partition slot a.
what to do now.
unable to install magisk and twrp and if we try to install magisk stuck at download mode.
Also need root because saftynet is false in this rom.

The rom is working perfectly and almost stable but I found some issues.
1. Gcam not working
2. UI not smooth.
3. Brightness control bug.
4. Poor memory management

ROM started up successfully on nokia 7 (ta-1041), I used a file from nokia 6.1, but there is no stock browser in the firmware and the camera does not work (Gcam does not solve the problem) Therefore, I want to ask how did this firmware appear in the theme for nokia 7, if it is with such a serious bug?

I have WiFi problem, connection drops and I can't connect again to my WiFi and when trying to disable and enable again WiFi, phone refuse to enable , and when I rebooted trying to solve , boot loop occur

Can anyone confirm that this can be used as a daily driver please?

Firstly, thanks @raghu Verma for this wonderful ROM.
ROM is smooth...
Almost Everything works properly... apart from below mentioned issues:
1. Bluetooth audio/media not working while connecting to handsfree or system ..... Any fixes??(as you mentioned in other ports that you have fixed it)
2. Gcam works, but after clicking 5-6 images, the capture doesn't work or saves green image. Have to restart or clear cache of gcam in order to make it work again for next 5-6 images... And again go on...
3. Loudspeaker volume is so low that can't even here, even when kept close to ear. Any fixes??
4. Gpay and some banking app doesn't work (not rooted)
5. Double tap to wake and lock screen doesn't work.
If above mentioned issues can be addressed and fixed, then it would be a great ROM.
Once again really wonderdful work.... Superb????
Loving this ROM.
Hope you will looking forward to fix and resolve above issues.
Thank you once again
One more severe issue: Device stucks into Download Mode when trying to start the device (after the battery is exhausted and device gets switched off automatically). The device boots into download mode and get stuck.
Only way to restart the device is to flash the rom once again using adb.
It happened with me thrice (when the battery got exhausted and phone switched off automatically)

Bro I have installed the rom . After every 4 th r 5 th reboot from switched off status . OS went to boot loop

Very good ROM, I downloaded to my N7.2, looks good, TP is not very sensitive, occasionally stuck, but still acceptable.ROM used for 2~3 days, standby power consumption is good at night, because I am not used to changing back to the original Q system, looking forward to the next version:good:

Waiting for stable.rom

I downloaded the .ZIP File but there is no install.bat in it. How to do it? I am a Fastboot Noob and have absolutely no idea how to flash it by myself.
regards
EDIT: Somehow the link led me to an wrong .zip file. Im downloading the correct one now.

Ok, whenever i start the Phone into Fastboot, there is an Unknown Android Device in my Device Manager. I tried every Driver on the Internet. Nothing is gonna work, not even the Universal USB ADB Driver from Google. I did some research on the Internet. Is it possible, that the Bootloader can't be unlocked anymore after a specific build of Nokia? Without the driver the device is not recognized on the Laptop. Someone maybe able to help? Running out of possible solutions

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Download:
Build 15 (Stable 3 "Elpun") : Download
/! Make a backup, This build needs a full wipe /!
[security] November Security Bulletin from CM
[usb] Charge Only can be enabled (and usb can be renabled)
[fix] Zram should be working correctly now (reduces longterm slowdowns)
[camera] Recording in stereo should work now (Thanks @goodoane)
[kernel] security feature : now uses CC_STACK_PROTECTOR_STRONG, more info
[signed-build] the build is now using release-keys instead of public "test-keys" meant for debug, improves a bit security and fixes some bugs in Google Apps (ex: Android Wear refusing to work, asking for an "user/signed" or "userdebug/unsigned" rom)
Build 14 (Stable 2 aka "Ololo") : Download
/! Make a backup, dirty update works but if not, do a clean wipe or don't complain about bugs/crash/FC/whatever /!
[security] Dirty COW fixed (CVE-2016-5195)
[battery] small improvements, battery stats should be more accurate
[stability] Clock wakelocks should be fixed
[improvement] built as user instead of userdebug (rom size is a bit smaller, less logs)
[SafetyNet] is properly "suported", banking apps and pokemon Go perfectly works without installing anything else (no more systemless root, xposed or w/e to make it work )
[kernel] general updates (3.10.104)
Build 13 (Stable 1 aka "Olala") : Download
/! Make a backup and do a clean wipe or don't complain about bugs/crash/FC/whatever /!
[LiveDisplay] is now natively working (perfectly smooooooth)
[kernel] general updates, security updates, cleanup, Live Display Implementation
[stability] CM updates
[usb] Charging mode only should work correctly when plugged in usb.
[decoder] AwesomePlayer is now enabled by default instead of NuPlayer (known to cause Google Photos crash, etc.)
[gestures] CMActions is now correctly using Russians strings, Spanish translation added.
[misc] root should be allowed from Dev Options now, anyway if not, flash SuperSU
Build 12 (Release Candidate 2) : Download
/! Make a backup and wipe /system before you flash this RC to be sure you got rid off the ANT+ files /!
This RC2 will probably be renamed "stable 1" if no major problem arise.
[kernel] general updates, cleanup , disabled KSM & UKSM for battery performance
[removed] ANT+ was only partially working and caused battery drain (it seems)
[battery] disabled both ANT (see above) and a few unneeded kernel features that might have caused a bit of draining issues, this should be better now ! :good:
[stability] overall cleanup (overlays, values, etc..)
[gestures] CMActions was cleaned and a few bugs were fixed, the gestures are now enabled/disabled by a switch but remains customisable when you press on them :good:
[misc] adb is not root by default anymore (this might help those who play PoGo) use the dev settings to change that
Build 11 (Release Candidate 1) : Download
(I told you I wouldn't release a beta next time)
changelog :
[bugfix] wifi hotspot is working (both in secured and unsecured AP mode)
[bugfix] fix the back button not being active at first touch when home was pressed to wake the device (elexogic)
[bugfix] back button vibration renabled
[improvement] Gestures are fully customisable now, choose what app/action is triggered (thanks elexogic again)
[kernel] general updates, config_aio disabled for security
[battery] IOscheduler reverted to "deadline" for better battery life
[stability] wifi, mobile, bluetooth, gps stability improved (blobs update to 5.1.10G)
Build 10 (latest beta before stable ) :
Download
(changelog : trully fixed back button for all M2 Note variants)
Issues
Data on second sim in a dual-sim configuration. (hardware limitation)
If you find a bug please check if there's no issue already mentioning it and create one with details and logs here : Bug reports @ Github issues
BUT FIRST :
Do a clean install first, wipe everything.
Make sure you don't use modifications (flash clean, try again)
Check the closed issues
Check google first, there might already be solutions
Explain and give details, add logs as much as possible
How to install:
It's usually a good idea to download the newest build version. Just install it via recovery. I tested it on TWRP but it should also work on other recoveries.
You will also need gapps if you want to use Google services. stock OpenGApps - use the arm64 versions.
How to install TWRP - I don't support unlocking bootloader, installing TWRP or the ROM, you should know what you do first or start learning.

Qus 1 Custom kernel expert thanks for its custom Kernel
Xiaomi has unveiled MIUI 9, the much-anticipated new version of its MIUI custom Android ROM. MIUI 9 is based on Android 7.0 Nougat, and apart from Nougat features like split screen, it boasts of faster app launch times, a more dynamic resource allocation for a fluid experience, and other smart features and improvements. As for the question you're probably itching to know the answer to - when will you be able to download MIUI 9? August 11, says Xiaomi, but more on that later.
Code:
[SIZE="5"][B][COLOR="Cyan"]Installation[/COLOR][/B]
1. Take care of backup of the system and data in advance!
2. Installation is carried out through the recommended TWRP!
3. Download the downloaded firmware file on internal memory or MicroSD.
4. Boot into the recovery.
5. Select the "Clean" tab and then "Custom" to mark Dalvik / ART Cache, Cache, System, Data and move the slider "Run" to the right.
6. Go to the "Installation" tab and select the firmware archive.
7. Confirm the desire to flash with the slider.
8. After successful execution of the script, auto-reloading to the system will follow.
9. Downloading is long, have patience and wait until the start menu appears.
10. Customize the system to fit your needs.[/SIZE]
Works
- Communication
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- Mobile Internet
- Sensors
- Video
- Camera
- Autofocus
- Flashlight
- Wake-up button "HOME"
Detailed Changelog

Use Google translate to read it
Do Not Work
- Slow motion
Bugs Found by me and by my friends
1)While listening Audio from Whatsapp System UI Crashes.
2)While Rebooting device or rebooting it to recovery it switches off in Deep Sleep by 3rd party apps to just simply hold power button and volume up button it will boot up in recovery or boot phone normally by holding power button.
3)Brightness Increases itself (Fixed in Custom Kernel)
Some Suggestions by me
You may find rom bit laggy after installing apps dont worry
just go to setting enable developer options first and then go to developer option and drag to last options in last you will find option like "Memory Optimization" Just turn it off and reboot your device you will get Lagless performance But will reduce Battery backup
Use Custom kernel in this rom i suggest it it will fix battery bug if you customize it well
and will solve brightness automatic increase bug Thanks Qus 1 For it

it's universal discription for miui 9 i already have written android version it's 5.0.2
post updated with latest download links enjoy
I'm using it as my daily driver I really like this ROM. But I couldn't install Xposed, it gets stuck at boot. I had to install an alternative to the huge stock navigation bar. I don't use Swype because it interferes easily with the keyboard when writing

I'm using miui 8 at the moment and miui 9 before. If I don't remember wrong, xposed works okay with miui 9. I will try miui 9 with xposed and report back if it works or not.

Thank you so much. I tried the last 3 versions but no success. Always stuck at boot. I wiped dalvik cache of course. It takes time to generate odex files but not that much.

Yes when I'm in a well lit environment it increases a little bit and there's no way to change that. When I turn the lights off it stays at minimum. But I like this feature actually. It saves me when I'm outside with the brightness set to minimum.

Code:
[SIZE="5"][B][COLOR="Cyan"]Installation[/COLOR][/B]

I have MIUI9 as-it-is. I didn't flash any custom kernel and the battery last longer in this ROM than any other one (RR, other LOS-based ROMs and even flyme). I think the apps you're using are the ones draining your battery.
anyone use MIUI 9 Pro stable??
I got link from 4pda.
N I want use custom kernel, but magisk not active / not root.
I think this custom kernel not for stable version..
Update kernel link please.

[INDEX] List of ROMs for Y6(2018)

Hi guys! This is a compilation of working and non-booting Treble Oreo ROMs for Huawei Y6 (2018). Full list of Treble Project ROMs is here. This list is still incomplete as I have not tested all ROMs listed in the link above. Therefore, if anyone tried a custom ROM not listed on this thread, please post it here so I can update this thread.
Please do note that I am not a ROM developer, you can still post bugs here so others will know and also on the ROM thread so we can hope for fixes.
We should thank @phhusson for all the works he's done to Project Treble
Project Treble ROMs are ROMs that are built to support as many devices as possible that support Treble. Treble devices, usually ship with Android Oreo pre-installed, therefore, our Huawei Y6 (2018) should technically boot any GSI/Treble ROM. But still, custom GSI ROMs are still not perfect and some devices may have bugs and some devices may not be unable to boot a particular ROM at all
Please read the wiki here about Y6 first
Prerequisites:
unlocked bootloader
adb and fastboot installed on your computer
How to flash ROMs for our device?
Before flashing, follow my guide HERE so you can always go back to stock ROM just in case. Also, make sure you downloaded an ARM64 A only image. This procedure erases your files so have a backup of your important files
Some ROM threads provide downloads in .zip file or in tar.xz file instead of .img files to save internet usage. Install 7-zip on Windows, open the file and extract the flashable .img file
1. Plug your device to the computer and reboot to download mode using this command:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
2. Flash your desired ROM using this command:
Code:
fastboot flash system <ROM file here, should be a .img file>
3. Reboot!
Code:
fastboot reboot
4. When you see the warning "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted", press the Volume up button and your device will go to erecovery. There, you can select Factory Reset
Usually, custom ROMs come with 2 variants:
Vanilla - this is a plain ROM with no GApps and su (root access)
GApps - a ROM with Google Apps (Play Store, etc.). Usually comes with root access too!
Here is the list of ROMs that are tested. Feel free to post ROMs that are working for our device
1. CrDroid by @Dil3mm4
2. LineageOS by @phhusson
3. OmniROM Treskmod by @Letzen
4. Resurrection Remix by @mracar
5. Pixel Experience by @jhenrique09
6.AOSP 8.1 - older than v25 ONLY!! by @phhusson Download the old version here
7.Bootleggers ROM by @Dil3mm4
8. Havoc OS 08/19 build by @
EnesSastim
9.Descendants threedotzero by @Dil3mm4
Tested not working:
1. AOSP Extended by @AryanPatidar - I only tried the latest version v5. 8, older versions may/may not work
2. AOKP by @sixohtew - I only tried the latest version, older versions may/may not work
3.AOSP v25 and later(?) by @phhusson
Ai ai ai, mine (OmniROM Treskmod) was meant to be work on Huawei anyway so it should work fine. Good luck, everyone.

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Android Lollipop, the ROM has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we became LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP and then changed to be based on the "Ground Zero Open Source Project" (GZOSP) for Android Pie.
We changed again for Android Q with a base of AOSP repositories and some additions from LineageOS for device specific repositories.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out, if it concerns our code base. This ROM isn't LineageOS supported, so there is no need to report errors/bugs to them!!
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Hard & a lot.

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look here to see what day your device is built on.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels officially?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP. Custom ROMs modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROMs. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. Information about Xposed, EdXposed or Riru Core can be obtained from the XPosed General forums .
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the flashing instructions...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, this is the usual behaviour on flashing a new official build by (or using) the build-in updater service.
Q. How do I 'dirty flash' builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot" as the destination, then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash and reboot afterwards.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?
A. Read this
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat AND the model name. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.)
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the others section in the AICP Extras main page.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Q. You don't need to install any Add-ons, simply download the latest ROM and GApps, then follow the flashing instructions and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine though.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery.
3. Wipe the System, Cache, and Data (you might need to format the data partition!).
4. Flash the ROM Zipfile.
5. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work).
6. Reboot and set up your device, enable developer settings and in them OEM unlock/Advanced reboot/USB tethering.
7. Reboot back into your recovery.
8. Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
9. Reboot your device.
The procedure may vary on system updates!
Currently supported Root Solution:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions >= 20.3 don't usually need to be flashed on every dirty flash.

I really love this rom and its the most stable of the Android 10 ROMs ive tried so far, but I am having a weird problem with calls on it. My voice starts not going through to the other end mid call sometimes and i have to recall or just the call ends randomly etc. I was on the latest version of the firmware when this happened, im not sure what it can be caused by if not ROM and the firmware.
I changed back to EU MIUI to avoid having this problems but I was totally satisfied with AICP other than that, I just want to know if its fixed so I can flash the ROM again. Or maybe understand what its caused by if its not the ROM.
Devs please look problem with DATA and two SIM cards. Data of SIM 1 not working , when switch Data to SIM 2 - all is fine.
If replace SIM slots - same story, SIM 1 data not work, SIM 2 - work.
Dont know why but all android 10 builds have this problem, only in Nitrogen OS - all is fine.
Thank you

- As you know build is free but building ROM needs server and in order to maintain the source, we need High-End Servers that are generally very expensive and need to be renewed every single month and as a student its quite difficult. And I installed the "MIUI V13.0.2.0 Firmware" in the global version, even though my phone is from Europe

In addition, only the native camera app crashes. Like, if i open the google lens app camera actually opens. But, the native camera app comes with the ROM crashes. @AndroidHQ254

EDIT ok i got help here - any of these are fine, except the ones for Samsung, as they are esentially the same thing.
Fingerprint scanner doesnt work when in sleep, doesnt wake phone. need to hit power button then scan finger.
also, wifi button doesnt seem to toggle in the quick drop down menu. Visually.
Edit - wifi button works, just had to reboot system. maybe phone brain fart.

Double tap to wake does not work after ~5 seconds after screen off (after the always on display dims down)
* Might be related to a broken screen replacement.
* I DID verify that the problem is a software problem - flashed xiaomi.eu rom and it DOES work there.
* I'm NOT at all sure it worked even with original screen (screen was fully functional, just a few cracks in the glass)
Update:
Tried derpfest and project elixir, same problem.
also found this on pixel-experience github issue tracker...
exactly the same issue - AOD becomes too dim and tap to wake stops working.
seems it's a known problem.

Quoting myself from the thread for Evolution rom... same problem with Elixir and DerpFest.
