Some time in 2020. Even if LG gave a predicted time you can't trust it. And it will probably be very wonky. Like Pie was for the V30. Last Oreo was the most stable for V30. I bet last Pie will be the same for V35.

It was just released bu its still rolling out. not many people have it yet.
AT&T hasn't even updated their website for it yet.
if you have the AT&T version you should have it soon though.
as a side note I have the AT&T version bu its unlocked on mint mobile, I haven't received it myself yet.
Source: https://piunikaweb.com/2020/05/20/att-lg-v35-thinq-android-10-lg-ux-9-0-update-now-available/
And AT&T update site (not updated to reflect android 10 quite yet): https://www.att.com/devicehowto/tutorial.html#!/stepbystep/id/stepbystep_KM1269238?make=LG&model=LGLMV350

I received it today, I like how it switches between apps but had to get the xda gesture app to hide the gesture bar/navigation bar as it doesn't allow full screen anymore natively

Hide apps or "recent items" from your recents/ multitask screen.
I got it yesterday and it's pretty awesome, smoother and faster than P. Only thing is please do yourself a favor and get rid of the recent apps that line the bottom of your recents screen (which clash with any modified theme/ icons pack you may be using), to do this set LG's built-in Home as your default launcher from settings>display>home screen>select>
Now long press empty area on the home screen, click settings>hide apps> and just check everything so all those ugly icons disappear from your recents screen forever.
Now you can set your launcher back to Nova or whatever you use and enjoy using Android 10 on your V35! :good:

I prefer the old fashioned nav bar to be honest. I don't see this novelty gesture system rubbing off on me anytime soon. It also clashes with my customized Nova launcher gestures which is a no go for me.

For whatever reason I can't seem to get updates OTA on my v35 with a mint sim. I flashed the AIO rom when I first got it so I am hoping that the rom will pop up soon.

you should flash ATT pie firmware and a sim from the same network to get the OTA update.
or you can wait for the android 10 kdz.

Update: im not sure why I got the older updates without the AT&T sim.
Everywhere I read says that shouldnt work.
In light of that I do have acess to one at work.
I'll try popping it in next week to see if it comes through.

Having AT&T sim in your LG AT&T branded phone is supposably the only way to get carrier OTA updates as AT&T does not release KDZ.
---------- Post added at 03:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:50 PM ----------
You have to be on AT&T firmware not cross-flashed and have active AT&T sim in the phone.

But full image KDZ will be released for all other V35. Just OTA updates roll out first. Be patient.

What the crap 5.1 in Verizon N6?

http://phandroid.com/2015/02/26/exclusive-verizon-nexus-6-march-12-android-5-1-volte-support/
Does voLTE require a hardware upgrade or is this potentially a feature that all n6s can enjoy?

My house phone is better than your iPhone.
T-mobile is actually testing VoLTE on N6. I think it will be in the OS. Time will tell.
Band 12 volte and WiFi calling I hope but I'm more interested in performance and battery improvements

While that may or may not be accurate they at least have some good news. I won a Nexus 9 from them during the 20 days of giveaways in December so they aren't all bad.
As far as 5.1 goes if its out on VZW then it will be out on all Nexus 6's as far as I'm concerned. Whether or not google posts the ROM devs can likely extract the files and incorporate them into a ROM. Let's see what happens because I would like to use B12 and WiFi calling on T-Mobile. I know T-Mobile has to enable some things in their end for it to work but at least we would have the software here ready and waiting.
With all the issues the N6 has on Sprint I wouldn't be surprised if Verizon wants that fixed before releasing on their network. Maybe the texting and call issues are CDMA related rather than Sprint specific?
I've had my N6 on Verizon for months, and everything works perfectly.

Same, with the exception of the network extender. On the extender, no 3G data and the signal indicator goes wonky. It also tries very hard to connect to an outside tower rather than the extender...
Hope they fix the data icon and connections taking long to actually connect
Have Verizon actually got a n6 with 5.1 or is it just hearsay.

Edit: hit return too quick.
I don't recall seeing anything official from Verizon or Google that it will be 5.1. I think that's what everyone is guessing based on the features posted by Verizon for the phone, T-Mobile comments and that 5.1 has been spotted somewhere in the world on some handsets. I'm looking forward to it as I have a lot of problems with WiFi and Bluetooth which I hope this will clear up. Also, if rumors are true and we get wifi calling, band 12 (t-mobile customer) and VoLTE, all the better.

1. Have you registered for the Soak Test for this phone ? (Is this a Soak Test update or an official one ?)
2. How is the performance of the phone ? (Benchmark comparisons, Gaming)
3. Any improvement in battery life ? (I know it is early but you must have felt something)
4. Screenshots ? Please ??
5. Can you make a Youtube video review for this ? (You'll get lots of views !! )
Yup...

Yeah, totally snappier and quick--very excited because to be honest, I was a little disappointed by the phone's performance. T-Mobile, MN, USA.
On Verizon wireless in us no update yet thanks for the heads up however
Same for me. Much snappier feeling. It took quite a while to load some apps initially with 5.0. 5.1 is absolutely better. I'm an android Dev and have access to a lot of more expensive phones and am using this for its amazingly great battery (way better than my 2013 moto x . over double for my use ) and to hold me over until 2015 moto x. Not a bad phone all

Sent G2 instead of Nexus 5, should I keep it?

Hi, I live in England and ordered a Nexus 5 from Amazon Warehouse (used-very good), but they sent me an LG D802.
It seems the G2 is like a slightly better and more expensive version of the Nexus 5 from what I can make out - so it would make sense to keep it but the reason I like the Nexus devices is vanilla Android and instant updates. I assume the Nexus 5 will be getting M, for example, and doubt the G2 will. It hasn't updated to Lollipop yet (or mine hasn't anyway).
I stuck my old 3G Giffgaff sim in and it wasn't recognised, so I tried a Tesco Mobile 4G sim and that is working so I am assuming I have the "International unlocked D802"?
Do you think I should keep it given my liking for Nexus devices (after all I was trying to buy one, lol), will it update to Lollipop?
It's a nice phone and I probably got a bargain given how much more it costs than the Nexus 5, I believe the battery life is much better and it has a better camera but apart from that is there any advantage over the Nexus 5?

I will do if I don't send it back. Still haven't decided.
I would go with the Nexus simply for the active development, that alone extends its life. That's why even the Galaxy Nexus and Tegra based N7 still see development today. For me it's more important to have a device that would see a steady flow of updates far past its EOL.

Thanks! Sprint's service is mediocre where I live but it's very cheap and they roll out updates promptly (or as promptly as Samsung allows). Still, no theming is disappointing even though they did bring over updates to the S-pen.
Time to look forward to N, if not OTA then via custom ROMs! The multi-window there is more robust and behaves more how I'd expect it to.
Adoptable storage will work if you use the S7 work around via ADB

Also there's the option to turn off Fast Charge now, not sure if the previous had this option.

Where's our Nougat update ZTE??

Update 6/21/2017: OTA update to Android 7.1.1 is out, and I received the OTA and installed it around 10 pm CST. Working great so far!! I like to think that my writing this post here on XDA finally caught the attention of ZTE, so they decided to get the update out ASAP lol. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Getting a Nougat update for the Axon 7 mini seems to be too much of a challenge for ZTE. As most of you know, ZTE has been running a closed Beta test of Android Nougat for our device. Three months is a pretty long Beta test, and it seems to me that ZTE may be experiencing some problems. I am not part of the Beta, I was in the hospital and didn't find out about it until sign ups were over. Is there anyone who's running the Beta right now that could give us an update? Feel free to PM me, and I can pass any updated info along to those of us not in the Beta, as I don't want anyone who does pass the info along to get in trouble for violating an NDA. Thanks!

I messaged ZTE on twitter about a week ago asking if they plan on releasing nougat or if not to unlock the bootloader if they planned on no longer supporting the device and this is the reply I got.
The Axon 7 Mini is still supported, and we've confirmed than an update will be released soon. We appreciate your continued patience. At this time, we are unable to provide assistance to unlock the bootloader of this device.

Thanks for the info, hopefully the update will be here soon!
I have received information about the beta via a couple of PM's from active beta testers. Looks like they are currently testing 7.1.1 with the June security patch. The software is said to be running good, but has a couple unspecified bugs that need to be corrected. All sources indicate that the update should be releasing very soon, but no confirmed release date yet. I wi6add further information as I receive it.

That's just weird. According to the beta testers, that build was sent to them shortly after the beta began, and still has some software bugs. I would have thought that ZTE would at least have one more update to the firmware prior to launch.
I guess we'll see if ZTE just ignored the bugs to get the update out. Apparently the OTA is supposed to be available, but I'm not seeing it yet (Missouri). Anyone here in the US been able to update yet?

Is it possible to set a custom dpi?
So I reset my phone and that didn't fix my problem. I messed around with all the WiFi & WiFi calling settings and cellular data settings with none of them fixing my problem. I then turned on the developers options and for some reason that fixed my cellular from turning on and off.
That fixed my issue if anyone has the same problem.

Okay thanks man
My son's got it this morning finally... Update took a while, probably close to 40 minutes start to finish, including the "Android is upgrading" portion after full boot. That must be an N thing, it rebuild cache on the fly or something. So far so good, no issues or problems yet.
We don't have T-Mobile here, use H2O (an AT&T MVNO) and so far no issues with radios or connection.
TBH, the more I play with this device the more I like it... the UI isn't too bad, one thing that gets me is the modified "Home" menu and you can't easily switch launchers without uninstalling one, but that is for another thread if I ever decide to pursue it.
