Help with bluetooth audio problem on Lineage14.1 - Samsung Galaxy J1 Questions & Answers

Hi, so I recently installed lineage os on my old Samsung J1 (2016), and I thought everything was working fine until I connected my bluetooth headphones, I almost lost my hearing, the audio was really loud and crackly, and the device disconnects in ~5 mins, and I'm asking here for help because I know I'm not the only one who's dealing with this issue, also I'm sure it's a software fault and not hardware (bluetooth was working just fine on the original system/rom that's why, and the headphones still work with other devices) and just to make sure, I tried connecting my bluetooth controller and it worked the way it's supposed to, and sharing files with bt works fine as well, so the only thing that doesn't work is audio device(s).
Things I tried:
Safe mode (didn't work).
Disabling any bluetooth related settings, including the absolute volume thing in dev options (didn't work).
And please don't tell me to factory reset, it's a newly installed system and I'm sure it won't work anyway.
If you know a fix for it, I'd like to know what it is.
Thank you.

Bluetooth issues with Sennheiser MM200

Bluetooth works on my Vodafone HTC Magic, but it's a fiddly pain in the arse. Process seems to go something like:
1. Turn on headset
2. Headset connects for phone audio only (music still plays on phone speakers)
3. Go into bluetooth settings, disconnect headset (if it isn't stuck, in which case exit and re-enter settings, or if that doesn't work boot the phone).
4. Re-connect headset (from within settings), which now connects for phone and media audio.
5. Play music, which then often skips for half a second or so about once a minute. If it skips constantly, jump to the next track which usually solves that.
The skipping doesn't always happen, but it does seem to happen regardless of whether I'm at home, work or in a tube station, and whether I've got the phone in my pocket or held up near the headset.
The quality's not bad apart from the skipping, and usually it doesn't skip enough to be truly annoying, but it's still a little disappointing from a £350 phone and a £90 headset.
So, I had the exact same problem, and I may still have it. I have now rooted my phone and applied the sapphire 6.0 update. I'm listening to music right now and it's working fine now with no skips. Having said that, however, I found that sometimes it would work flawlessly before as well.
Anyone have another A2DP device that acts similarly? Or is the problem with the magic.
When I connect eh MM200 to my macbook-pro it sometimes refuses to respond to the button pushing and such. Not sure what exactly that indicates.

I've also rooted and updated to 6.0, still got the problem. I think to be honest it actually pauses rather than skips (I caught it pausing for ~2sec once, it's harder to tell with the shorter "skips")... it still does it when there are few other processes running, so I'm not sure what is bothering it. TBH I've not really tried it playing music without the headset to see if it happens anyway!
I've beemn messing with my phone (Magic) all day try to get the bluetooth to connect to my bluetooth usb dongle or my old phone, both of which work fine together and with everything else,
My PC can find the HTC Magic when i put it in to visable mode, but other then that it wont show up and service's for me to use with the phone,
My old phone (Samsung F700v) cant find the HTC Magic at all, altho i did manage to find the F700 on my Magic and pair them that way but still my F700 wont find it anywhere (with visable mode on,)
Am i missing somthing or does the Magic/Sapphire have a very bad Bluetooth flaw,
on a side note i've only had the phone less then a week and its not rooted, is it worth it? and is there a noob guide to the basic's eg. which version does what and what all the cons are?
Thanks
Edit:
guess i just found my answer...

Android does not support any bluetooth services other then "hands free".
This means that you can only use BT headsets.
Android (either G1 or Magic) phones cannot natively send files over BT, cannot use BT a modem, etc...
There is not third party tool so far to send files via BT to other devices.

[Q] Broken A2DP bluetooth?

I think I broke my A2DP bluetooth...
Was using it fine with two different "model Ebay" stereo headests. Yesterday I could not get any music played and later tested with another one, same problem. Pairing and connecting goes ok and device shows that everything should be fine. But when playing music, I can hear some clicks and cracks. Sounds like decoding would be badly broken.
Strange thing is that I paired U8800 with my laptop that supports playing music from phone through A2DP and it worked fine! Also ruled out possibility that both headsets would be broken by testing with my wifes U8800, worked like a charm.
Any ideas? Is there anyway to "reset" bluetooth settings or some cache crap related to A2DP? Somehow I suspect that this problem relates to devices that I have already once paired with phone... Since new device (laptop) worked fine.
Have rebooted, dismounted battery, removed all bt pairings... I bet flashing in ROM would help, but not very tempting just because of this.
Have no idea why this happend, only changes to anything that could relate to A2DP was installing and uninstalling Doubletwist player.
Could you figure out the reason for your broken a2dp connection? I have the same issue with my car's stereo and my Galaxy SII. Worked fine until some days ago. Now everything _seems_ to be fine (avrcp is working, when I change volumen on the device I see 'bluetooth media' popup) but I don't hear anything.
Already tried the steps you described, too.

[Q] is Bluetooth finally fixed?

I have flex's ics custom rom great by the way thanks dev but noticed when I try to pair with Bluetooth headsets it no longer says paired but not connected but says cannot connect to an incorrect pin or pass key.....is the a500 actually able to successfully pair with Bluetooth headsets now or is it still doomed? (I've also had success pairing with other phones I haven't been able to before.) Sorry for bad english
I am on the OTA version and my Sony DR-BT22 headphones works fine. No problems pairing. However the Sony's builtin microphone still does not work.
I have been using a motorola s10 headset with stock ota ics. Audio is fine. I ran into one problem last night when i turned on the headset while netflix was playing and the sudia wasn't synced right, but I exited and restarted netflix and it was fine. I have not tried anything with microphone yet.

Need help solving audio over bluetooth issue

Did a search and couldn't find anything related to my problem.
I have recently gotten a SM-G950U1 variant of the S8, everything is working fine except for when the phone is connected to bluetooth. On bluetooth, all audio plays over the call channel versus the media channel. I've tried on two different cars and a JBL speaker, all with the same result. Turning off wifi calling helps this only slightly, as the audio is still muffled sounding unless I disable the "Call Audio" switch in each specific connection in the bluetooth settings. Obviously, ticking this switch off for the speaker isn't really an issue, but leaving it off for the car connections is a significant setback.
I'm just coming from an S6 that was on 7.0 that didn't have this issue. The phone is not rooted and I don't have a smart watch or anything like that. I did boot into safe mode and I think the issue was cleared up there, but was still active on my phone when I booted back to normal, with all of the accessibility options and permissions reset as a result. But other than the Samsung Sound Assistant app --which I deleted to see if it was the cause (it wasn't) -- I don't have anything that would change the way default audio functions would work, and I can't think of any specific app I have or a setting I may have ticked that would've caused this.
Have you tried using seperate audio settings? I think it might help...

Bluetooth earbuds connected but sound playing through phone speakers

So I just got some new earbuds and they connect perfectly, except the sound comes out of my phone speakers. The weird part is they are fully functional for phone calls. I'm on pixel experience as well.
I've tried;
-connecting to another device (works fine)
-doing everything ever posted on an issue similar to this online (nothing works) eg, making sure media audio is enabled, restarting phone, restarting ear buds, resetting bluetooth data.
Only thing I haven't tried is factory reset which might have to be next :/
Any help would be amazing cheers...
When a friend of mine uses TeamSpeak on his phone he has to Enable "Use Bluetooth" via the TeamSpeak options first!
Maybe you have to do something similar ?!
Just guessing here... Hope you figure it out!
