I can't unlock my bootloader on LG Magna (h500f) - LG Magna Questions & Answers

1.
I wanted to get going with a custom rom on my lg magna.
But when I searched for lg magna unlock bootloader I did not find an easy solution.
Then I tried with a classical "fastboot oem unlock". Everything went fine until I had to press volume keys to select yes or no to unlock bootloader.
I just couldn't. Like if my hardware buttons did not work in fastboot mode.
2.
And second question i have is,
if Its safe to unlock bootloader with sp flash tool that I watched a tutorial on how to root lg magna on yt.
i would appreciate if someone could help me in this situation I have.
Thanks in advance.

Someone? Please.

Unlock bootloader from LG G4c (how to)

Hi!
Is anyone trying unlock the bootloader from LG G4c? Can someone help me? If somebody knows how to unlock, please write me.
My idea is to zero the laf partition (LG Download Mode partition) to boot into fastboot and do "fastboot oem unlock".
My idea is do "fastboot flash unlock". Unfortunately, fastboot mode is not available on marshmallow version. Also I can't downgrade to lollipop now. If someone would try it, please public results. I found this idea over here: http://source.android.com/security/v...fied-boot.html
This command wipes all user data.
I am not responsible for damaged phones.

Fastboot also does not work on Lollipop. First we have to zero the laf partition.
So, I have wiped laf partition. I started fastboot mode and unfortunately the commands don't work

1. Use LG Bridge to "repair" the phone will get you back to stock Oreo and LG OTA updates. But will not relock your bootloader so you still see the code orange warning.
2. To relock your bootloader, read the FAQ contained in the unlocking guide. Essentially it's a fastboot command.
Both steps will wipe the phone so backup your data first.
How to in 5 steps Lock your bootloader ,that worked successfully on (H870)
the requirement for a successful lock: flash with LGUP and uppercut LG STOCK FIRMWARE
1. Enable Developer Mode
2. Enable OEM Unlocking
3. Boot into Fastboot Mode
3. Typefollowing command ---> fastboot oem lock
4. Wait for the Command Prompt to tell you the process has finished
5. And.... ---> fastboot reboot
Your bootloader is successful locked
Why is LG UP / uppercut a requirement? I did it using LG Bridge, worked. The requirement I think is just an LG stock firmware. Pretty obvious.
I also wrote "the requirement for a successful lock: .... " ! you can see colon ? I do not say must take LGUP ,It was a suggestion to note
Quote:The requirement I think is just an LG stock firmware.
Yes :good:

The phone does not enter fastboot / bootloader mode

Hi everyone,
I am the owner of an A2017G, unlocked bootloader.
I tried them all, but all of them and I can't get into fastboot / bootloader mode.
Ihave flash rom via MIFLASH and AXON7 EDL TOOL using rom Nougat and Oreo, but the result is always the same !!!
Do you have any ideas to help me, perpetuate?
Thank you.
Use miflash and flash unlock bootloader image by Turkdev, even in oreo it will give you fastboot menu.
I did this 3 days ago to relock my bootloader
Use this tutorial:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/guide-unlock-bootloader-easily-t3704595
The reason you lose your fastboot menu because you unlock BL with another image (using Axon 7 EDL tool perhaps), but if you do unlock with turkdev image in tutorial, your fastboot menu will stay there
