Shark Space button a little loose - Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Questions & Answers

Good day.
Have you noticed that the Shark Space button is a little loose? It is more appreciated when they activate it, they move it a little to the sides and you notice that that button is a little loose. Or is that the button?
Thank you for your answers.

Tweak / mod the Power button

Hi!
Is it just me or is the power button real tough to press?
Has anyone thought of adding a small mod to raise this button to make it easier to press?
Any luck?
Thanks!
The left hand side of mine (as you look at the screen) is slightly raised.
Isn't yours ?
Yup, it's raised but just a little; i don't think I'm "fat thumbed" but it's really difficult to press while using just one hand.
I agree but it's not as bad as I found the Tytn II.
I've now got used to aiming at the left hand side of the HD button which is raised higher.
Of course, I often just use the stylus pull to switch on as well.
On the Tytn II I superglued a slice of cable insulation to the button. This worked fine. I used a small black cable and cut the insulation longways to the right size. It needed steady hands but was a good solution.
one good thing in other pda's is that in the settings menu was that keylock applet, in which you could have all the keys unlocked, so you can power on the device only by pressing the front keys, and not bother with the power button.
But i can not see this applet in the rom i have 1.14
Does anyone know how we can have this keylock applet again?
While it can sometimes be a bit of a pain to press I'm glad that it doesn't accidentally get pressed whilst in my pocket, I often don't bother locking it so I'd be pressing stuff all over the place.

Yes, i'm also seriously contemplating that solution
I'm just afraid that the button might get damaged because of the super glue... things might get messy

Well it worked so well on the Tytn II that I never took it off so I can't judge !!

simple question for you folks I decided to replace the usb-jack in the wiz i had sitting around and there are a couple buttons not working the comms button, the internet button on the front the left menu key, the hangup button, and the left menu button on the keyboard.
any thoughts would be great.

Volume button is loose

Today I noticed that the Volume button is loose. Is this normal?
My Touch HD's Volume button is firmly in place.
How loose? Might has a little give in it but i wouldnt call it loose.
It's quite loose, I can move it with slightest touch .
My volume up button didn't work out of the box. There are a couple of threads about the problem but no solution that I saw other than take it back for a replacement which is what I did this week.

Thanks for your input. Anyway my volume button works fine, but it's just loose. I'm not sure I can get a replacement for this reason.
there is supposed to be a little "play" in all of the buttons. Its the same with PSP, DS and other portable gadgets. With a little give they won't break as quickly if they get snagged on clothing for example because they are not rigid and consequently have a little bit of "give". Hope that makes sense!
My first one had a solid volume button, the button on my replacement is very loose. Whether they will all get looser over time is another question...

We need button guards

Hey Everyone,
I got my Noreve case, and one thing I'm quite happy with is how it makes the power and volume buttons much harder to hit accidentally.
This is because it reverses the situation:
On the stock note the buttons are higher than the frame. Therefore when you hold it, it's easy to slide over and accidentally whack the power button. With the case, the case is now 'higher' than the button, and you kind of have to deliberately poke your finger in to trigger.
That being said - I was thinking about the capacitive buttons.
I'm thinking of making some sort of 'O' out of tape (?!?) or something, that covers the capacitive buttons. That way if I want to hit the button, I can poke my finger in and hit it. But if I'm just holding the phone and entering text, I am much less likely to 'rub' the back button and lose whatever I'm doing.
Need to find something that's not too cheesy looking though.
My phone is inside a case so I'm not worried about it being thicker and rubbing off in my pocket.

You have expressed what I have been thinking about for years, since my first phone with touch-sensitive buttons ( the HTC Touch HD ).
Now I'm on my third phone with touch sensitive buttons ( Touch HD, Galaxy S, Galaxy Note ), and the same issue still plagues me : every once in a while, I would accidentally brush against the back button and it pops me back to the prev screen, which annoys the hell out of me.
Some nice stick-on buttons which require a firm press to activate would be great.

small bump in the case near volume rocker

i have two i9505 from vodafone, both white, both with a small problem. near the down volume button on the middle case the case is a little bumped like half a mm, u can notice it by looking at the volume buttons and see that the down vol button is a little more in the inside of the case that that up button, also u can notice that the display frame case is also not perfectly allined there.
do u guys have this problem or i am the only "poor" guy that has 2 with same flaw!?
I can only say mine doesn't have this issue.
