After updating the fota of 0.73 pie my device runs smoothly till two days ..
After that it suddenly got switched off and then i tried to tun it on ..but it did not on it stucks on asus logo...
Even i tried to go through recovery..but it cannot go to recovery mode...it restarts again and again...

I tried to flash but it says flashing is not allowed in lock state.
Then i tried to unlock the bootloader but it says the same erro...flshng,,,,,,, lock state..
When i tried to flash through QFIL Tool an error occurs..sahara server fail.
Sahara packet is not recvng frm the device.
I also tried UMT TOOL.but same..
ONLY CSC fastboot mode iscworking...
Pls help me to recover my device again...

Several other users have also reported bricking their devices with the 073 update. Also they seem to have tried every possible method to resolve it but failed. Service center is the last resolution now.
Mine also got the same issue . I checked with the service center .They are saying motherboard problem .

I was updated from April security patch from ota update by Asus.
After stuck on asus logo then stock recovery options are gone.
Fastboot command also not working.
When I try to fix this problem from Qfil then qfil show sahara server faild.
What I do in this lockdown please help me...?

Unfortunately service center is the only hope now. Stock rom updates starting from pie 73 is doing this to the devices.
Also in the same boat, tried everything.
Got in touch with local official support, they're also saying that all I can do is to pay for repairs (aka replacement of entire motherboard, so basically buying a new phone), which costs more than a new Max Pro M2 used to. It's crazy.
And the issue seems to be spreading. Are they really going to ignore this?
Looks like in India though they ARE offering free replacements.

I own an LG D290n . I had to do a factory restore via buttons after a Google update bug. It was crashing some Google service and couldn't do anything to fix it. Strangely neither factory restore worked giving me the same exactly error. I finally downloaded the latest Rom I could find I think it was 4.4.2. I pushed it using official Lg Utility from fino page and worked like it should be just fine. After about 2 months the problems continued , the phone stucked at boot with the known pink message dbi error demigod crush etc unfortunately I didn't took a photo. After reading a lot found a guide for unbricking my phone. UNTIL THEN couldn't go into dl mode or anything except factory reset giving me the same error. After the guide using qfil the phone stayed black . Boarddiag passes ap but not emmc. The phone is stuck on 9008 or if I play a little in diagnostic 9006. I played with battery and cable only , the buttons don't work tried vol up . Any guy want my teamviewer to check? Thank you in advance
M phone showing an faint annoying logo in the middle of the screen every time.
let me start from the beginning as a lot of things i have done.
My phone as earlier z010d(as shown in about page) 32gb sd615.
bootloader unlocked with official tool and install twrp.(only z010DD twrp worked.)
flashed lineage os 14

Now i am getting a strange annoying asus logo screen in my mobile. Searched everywhere but didn't find any similar problem.
Anyone can help me .
and one more thing. checking over AID64 app my system shows 8916 board while 8939 CPU. is this correct? then should i used 8939 rom or 8916 rom?
#update1 : it seems to be hardware problem. the logo become a bit dim, i think it will go away. Now the problem is my network doesnt show. When i search for network it only shows 2g network, no 3g or 4g and when trying to connect it say's failed. What could be the problem?

Hi all. So I have a frustrating issue with my phone after having updated to the last official firmware from the Asus website. I noticed that the phone operation was very slow, so I decided to do a factory reset from recovery. Everything went well until I am somehow locked out of my phone via FRP. The weirdest thing is that instead of asking for google credentials, it's asking for a pattern, which I am correctly inputting but it refuses to recognize it. So now I'm stuck with a locked out phone. Am I SOL at this point or is there a way to get past this other than taking it to a service center?
Things I've tried that haven't worked:
1. tried to erase user config in fastboot (returned error FAILED)
2. wiped all data in recovery
3. tried to flash to an older version via asus flashtool but didn't work as the device isn't recognized
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok i had the exact problem the latest patch for the device , i manually updated to oreo 8.1, has some bug that sometimes it doesnt recognise pin or pattern after some reboots it recognized it but it's not persistent as it stopped working.
I was able to fix it by flashing an older version with sp flashtool. You need to download and properly install SPFlashtool and everything it needs then you have to search for an spflashable rom that it's compatible with the one you have.
I had a problem with my asus zenfone 2 ZE550ML flashing the rom via the voice: "install update from ADB" arrived at 1/4% the installation crashes and everything goes wrong, I tried before flashing the firmware to format the mobile phone via the PC since it is impossible to turn it on because it does not start ... after a few commands left via ADB it no longer goes to the screen where the ASUS logo loads and in the fastboot screen it tells me in blue "waiting CMD" something of the kind .. after doing these tests, desperate, I took him to a service center, and he told me the guy who does not receive the software because the motherboard is burned ... how can you help me? Thanks in advance for who will do it?
So somehow something happened and the phone got stucked in fastboot , and after doing research and trying to fix it for 2 days I took the phone to service and now after 2 more days they tell me they cannnot fix it ... Please Help someone !
Problem is as I understoud I am not authorised to use miflash tool ... And i did used it couple of times allready before but now its saying this and giving me all kind of errors .. I am flashing fastboot rom and a proper one .
How to get authorised ?
Miflash wont install rom even with forced edl mode with connecting two dots contacts on motheboard ..
Try with XiaoMiTool V2 by Francesco Tescari , helped me once in same kind of situation
