But it looks like it doesn't have some important bands like 71 for the US.

The Chinese model doesn't same for any Chinese model

Why Is there No Forum for the Samsung A9 ??

I cant find a forum or subforum for the Samsung A9 or A9 Pro. Why is that??
Because xda don't create a forum for every single device that's is on the market.
It depends how popular the device is and how many requests it gets. Also it's fairly new.
There loads of devices out there without their own specific forum.
You need to put your request to admin. However it's unlikely as you're already in the A series forum. Most you could hope for is it added here.
it should in the near future.
The problem is, a lot of A series phone have been specifically made for the standalone markets (chinese, india, etc), and unfortunately the their communities seem to have their own places like xda in their native language, hence why no people are requesting much info around here.
But that should change....the A9 Pro international variant is about to be released, and i am favouring it above S7 Edge and upcoming Note 6/7 products, it's above average performance that can be tweaked by twiddling, and with that huge battery, it may be the first android device hitting 3 days of battery with stock parameters.
seriosuly, shouldn't take long.

Do you know when the A9 Pro international version will come out? I bet it'll cost $700.
If they price it in that eange, then one might as well just get the S7E or N6/N7. Anything above 500 is too much for such a class.

Very true. Its just that the A9 Pro has that huge 5000 mah battery thats very inticing.
I've just received an offer at 450 EUR, for pro version, in my country (black market ofc), and it just appeared, so the price can only go down..

It's Serbia, and the link won't matter too much to you, as it is in local language...
But, it's Chinese model for sure, as our black market is overwhelmed with models of that origin...

How To Buy Way Cheaper Chinese a Variant

The thread title says it all. Rather curious how I can get my hands on the Chinese version. I'm an American living in States, but those prices are ridiculously lower. The handset itself is supposed to be identical. Anyone know how I can order one?
Kind of crappy for OnePlus to charge America an extra $137. Fake tariff response.

Where did you purchase it from? With the reports of the screen issues in some phones im hesitant to order from another country in case OnePlus have an issues with warranties with phones from different regions

I have bought foreign phones before and have always found ways to enable/disable bands as needed.. The Snapdragon is very versatile. I'm hoping that installing the international oxygen OS rom will configure the bands. When I get the device I will thoroughly test every band and let you know how I get on.

Haha your post cracks me up, mate. Did you ever get the band unlocked? I'm torn between waiting four more days until it's available in the US, or getting it off of Wonda.
Perhaps you can help me decide. When the phone arrived, did it look brand-spanking-new? Or were there fingerprints all over it? After all, they had to manually flash the international version of OOS I'm assuming? and did it come in original packaging? Or do they just take the components out and just stick it in a random box?

Careful the Chinese version is missing a few of the bands we use here. Think o2 is fine but the rest need band 32 I think for lte advance so you may get slower 4g speeds if on Three voda ee or their mvno's.
Maybe you can unlock bands. Wonda mobile a great trustworthy store
I'm in Canada and bought a pro 256gb from Alibaba for about 1240 CAD all in. Flashed with global ROM.
Very risky for general user but I've been buying equipment and components for my company from Alibaba for years now. I personally have never had an issue (with fraud anyways)

The seal on the box was broken to upgrade the firmware but the device was still wrapped in its protective film. I'm currently on band 20 VoLTE and the device is identifying itself as the international version. I suspect the relevant bands were enabled/disabled with the ROM change.

Wonda mobile.
Question for those using chinese version in USA.
How is it working?
I want the green 256GB version and dual Sim. So going down this route might be my best option.
Only problem I see is if I have a screen issue, will be harder to return.
What do you guys think? Thanks for the replies.
I have used Wonda Mobile and returned a mobile with no issues, you pay for shipping if you change your mind with a fee but if it's faulty they will reimburse you.
I have ordered many times from Wonda Mobile, can't rate them high enough. My 8 Pro was shipped on Monday and I had it by Saturday, 12/256gb £100 cheaper......:good:

Oppo find x5 pro chinese version issues in Egypt or Canada

Hello,
I'm sorry if I ask a basic question, but I cannot trust anyone except this site.
I'll buy oppo find x5 pro chinese version, however, the buyer from Aliexpress told me the Chinese version will support Google play store.
I usually travel between Egypt and Canada.
Please tell if there are any issues related to the below:
Banking apps like hsbc.
Google services like maps.
Any bugs or unusual behavior related to applications or the system functions.
Thanks in advance.

That's a little bit surprising all sellers on Aliexpress confirmed it will support Google play and all automatic updates. However, the global version is more expensive and It is not available too much for online purchasing. Which website can provide the global version and support international shipping?
