Hi guys. As you can read, I was wondering if there is a Rom for our S8, which supports the DeX for PC App.The Galaxy S8 does not support that, so maybe there are S9-S20 Roms..?

I am the proud owner of a Galaxy S5 NEO – SM-G903FXXU1AOGG, on Android 5.1.1.
It's a work phone and I use it for calls, texts, email and with S4 I used it in conjunction with Sidesync for work.
Turns out, Sidesync, does not support the S5 Neo, and apparently the S5 Neo does not have the mirror feature??
So, I try Airdrop, but to use airmirror, my device needs to be rooted.
So, question is, can I root this device, and if so, when will it be available?
I suppose custom Rom is not possible (ie. different camera, processor etc) yet?

I know that MHL is not working with s7 edge. However, it IS working with s8 (http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/blog/2017/03/how-to-connect-your-galaxy-s8-to-your-tv/) .
I believe it's software problem, not hardware problem. I am curious to know. If I have rooted my phone, can I just copy required driver/software from s8 Edge? Or is there any other third prarty drivers available?
first..i am not a developer, so sorry if its a noob question...do anybody who knows think that a S8 custom rom for our device S6 Edge+ can do the trick that could work with Samsung Dex ?...or there is no chance becouse of Dex hardware recognition ?.......sry for my english...
