ADB Bloatware Removal? - Samsung Galaxy A51 Guides, News, & Discussion

Has anyone found a guide to safely remove some of the bloatware that comes on our devices? All these meaningless Samsung apps that won't break core functionality? Would be a good speed boost, I have disabled what I can but ultimately would like to remove all those and a bit more.

I know how to it, I'm more looking for a list of safe to remove apps that someone has compiled with this specific device.
Thanks

Search Samsung bloat list on XDA and do it [emoji6]

This may help some folks to determine the app usage.

Any app for changing screen resolution that actually works?

When I was on my Samsung phone I had the Game booster app that was able to tweak resolution for specific apps and games, which was pretty cool because it allowed better performance and battery saving when using gfx intensive apps. However I can't find anything similar for non Samsung phones that actually works. Any suggestion would be much appreciated because that odd little feature is pretty much all I miss from my Samsung days.
Currently running CM13 so I don't care if it requires root.

Overall smoothness and responsiveness

Hello folks,
I've noticed that after the 8.1 update the responsiveness of the A1 is trash! When swiping on lock screen, for example, it takes multiple times to finally swipe up. (If you know app that can record screen I'll gladly post the video here). The scrolling smoothness is very bad when I see Mi A2 Lite on there it's butter smooth. The speed also suffered allot. Anyone noticed that too?
Please post any other discoveries here!
Thanks
Okay here is the video! https://giphy.com/gifs/orTE4NSy3yNcriqkPD
I'm not having this problem. I'm on the August update and a short swipe unlocks the screen. So what you're experiencing is definitely not universal.
I have not noticed any changes in overall device responsiveness either.
Flash latest stock rom in Mi flash tool.
I recommend to do it in EDL mode.

Nothing like this observed. Phone is smooth as always..

Holey Light (S10 LED Notifications)

Been playing today with this brand new apk still under development by the famous Developer Chainfire and it works!
Colors and other things like display frequencies are customizable, some limitations with AOD for now, well, try it. I like it.

This seems like a much better use of the LED than simply showing battery percentage. Already seems to work pretty good!

Must have app. It's great [emoji16]

Which Rom?

Just got a Mi 9T and trying to decide on which ROM to laod onto it? I have Pixel Experience+ on my Mi 8 Se which I like, after something similar.
I've noticed there's no official PE for this phone, likewise with LineageOS. Where these are "unofficial", what are the downsides to not having official support for a device? Are either likely to become official?
Evolution X 2.0 also looks quite interesting but I need to look into it a bit more.
So, what are others using? I'd like to get the near stock experience I got from PE+ along with the device being nice and snappy without hammering the battery more than it should.

Only downside is that if the person who make the port decide to stop doing it, move on to another device or if life become too busy.. the ROMs will not be updated, where Official ports you kind of have updates for sure.

Dude i'm in XDA since 2014. The community always keep things alive. I'm not being optimistic.

Apparently still too short Unofficial versions often have much better support.

They do, but he asked the downside
The only one i can think is that if who compile/maintain move on the ROM become "abandonware".
but i agree, unofficial is better.
Running official havocos 2.9 at the moment, seems pretty good
