Is it possible to flash Switch's(japan,euro,etc...) ROM to Switch(Tencent ver) - Nintendo Switch Questions & Answers

Tencent Ver's Switch is very cheap and it has sufficient supplies...
If it's possible to dump other version's ROM, fix the key and flash to tencent ver?

You'll get support over on gbatemp, you will not get support here because xda = mobile operating systems

Technically Horizon OS is a mobile operating system
As for op here's a guide. You need to edit your prodinfo and clear your system saves https://forum.devchroma.nl/index.php/topic,222.msg520/boardseen.html

actually nothing special on there...there're only some "modified" versions from schlund's release...
They have some very active rom development (one of them has a wifi fix, battery saving algorithms and a gps fix). It should be interesting if someone skilled can apply this to schlund's release, so we have an english version of it

for battery saving, it only removes a lot of systematic apps from the install zip
you could also do it by using "SystemApp Remover"
Remove some unnecessary apps from the system partition

you just have to perform this in the fastboot mode of schlund's release:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
*the boot.img is extracted from russian's release
and then reboot the phone
I have not read it wrong, it seems that Schlund has said that in the coming days will release a new kernel because of the problem of battery power ...

WP8 9900 Build dump (x86)

Hi,
This is (as far as I know) the first dump of wp8. It's based on the 9900 (emulator) build and is meant for cooking roms (for WP7/8 devices)
It has all 51 languages and all 3 screen resolutions
Good luck devs,
Download link:
http://htcfanboys.com/download/sianto1997/?action=view&file=14516
If you use this in a rom, please mention me.
greetz
WOW!Thank you very much!
Do you know that emulator have x86 version of WP8? It's impossible to use it. So your dump is really useless, even more than me.
Shhh... It's easy to dump the emulator, just mount VHD.

Offline ISO weights 1.6GiB. But it's much faster to download using torrent than downloading from unknown hosting.
Sorry but in the future is possible to have a WP8 Rom on a WP 7/7.8 device?

Yes and no. As it's possable to run on the hardware (all 1st gen are the same CPU wise and 2nd gen are pretty close still) and even Microsoft said so, there are no drivers designed for it. Nevermind the OS is designed for a dual core CPU, so performance could be a big hit.
The HD2 was the ONLY Windows Mobile device to get WP7 and the only reason why that is was because Microsoft used the HD2 in testing WP7 and someone "leaked" the drivers needed. If things follow suit, the chances of getting a WP8 rom running on a WP7.5 device might be like finding that needle in a haystack...might happen but, I would not hold my breath.
I also would love to see it tho.....

So it works standalone? There should be a HDMI interface, right?
If so, maybe you can try to find RK2918 compiling environment to build your image.

It's okay, jerpelea said it's because they haven't released the kernel wireless driver or GSM:

Do you think following parts of these guides:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2475352
http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/guide-porting-custom-roms-t2828854
We may be able to get Wifi/cell working with the stock ROM libraries? We may be better off going to CM 5.0.1 isntead of AOSP 5.1.1 if we do this

Custom ROM for the Galaxy A20

We currently don't have a custom ROM for the A20,
but it would be the next logical step.
If someone could develop a custom ROM it would raise our status in the xda community.

Without the support from USA device owners and them being left out from rooting played a huge factor.
The Motog7power just got Lineage OS 16.
Twrp was done weeks ago. Buy a Motorola.

Last update seems to be from 2013, i don't think that is compatible with Android Pie.
I recommend you to use SuperR's Kitchen (free version is only available for Linux, to use it on Windows you need to buy the full version).

Were all hoping to get a working custom rom for this device, Keep up bro. Thanks for trying
Seems like all the GSI ROMs break some hardware functionality at this stage so the best option for now is to root and debloat stock and load your own preferred apps in place of the Samsung / Google ones. Not quite a "Custom" ROM but makes for a pleasant enough phone that you can tolerate much more than the horror of stock.
Now a custom kernel to clock our severely crippled SoC back to its full glory would be a thing to smile about

I think that's because you have to add the device in 8)Room tools, 4)Asserts menu, 1)Add/remove device, then try adding the device, in my case i added "a20,a205g", i don't really know what device name TWRP reads

When I flashed as A20, it told me the device was a20.
I added just a20. It flashed but froze on the Samsung screen.
Progress.
It's all a learning experience.
